7-Eleven Japan has simply introduced that the collaboration between the comfort retailer and Pokémon GO — which noticed over 19,000 Pokéstops added to the shops throughout Japan — will finish on Sunday, October 31st. All the Pokéstops shall be faraway from the sport by the early morning (Japan time) of November 1st.
The collab has existed since April 2017, and we have now no data as to why it is ending 4 years later, however with the sport winding down and Niantic removing features, it might simply be a very good time for 7-Eleven to dip.
Niantic is at present engaged on a brand new AR cell sport involving Pikmin, which a lucky few were able to preview earlier this year.
