CHAOS ON SET
Jamie is co-starring in a new Hollywood blockbuster alongside Cameron Diaz, but the production was recently plunged into further chaos after an unexploded World War II bomb was found on set, The U.S. Sun revealed.
The production crew was planning to film two huge stunts, including a major explosion, but they had to be canceled after the bomb was discovered.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars of the movie’s budget were wasted after filming was canceled at East London’s Royal Docks.
A source said: “The production expected the scene to go off with a bang — but nobody could have predicted it would all be derailed by a bomb.
“The stunt was booked to take place last month at the dock. A 24-meter barrier was being erected into the river, where the explosion would take place.
“But it was during the building of the set that they believed they found what they thought to be an unexploded bomb in the water.
“Safety was the main priority, so after speaking with the police and relevant authorities, the whole thing was canceled.
“Naturally, that part of the river is never normally disturbed, so it’s been left as it is.”
It’s believed that there are around 100,000 tons of unexploded ordnance in waters around the UK from both World Wars.
London was the main target for Nazi bombers during the Blitz.
The U.S. Sun’s movie insider added: “The cancellation was a massive blow to the film, which has already experienced a few issues.
“After the two stunts were canned, they were filmed on a green screen at Longcross Studios in Surrey.
“It cost a huge amount of money and was a massive headache for everyone involved.”

Ben Affleck Reveals Another Actor’s Flash Movie Cameo
DC’s upcoming The Flash solo movie is seen as a send-off to the old DCEU before the new guard is established with James Gunn and Peter Safran’s Gods and Monsters movement. Actor Ezra Miller was cast as Barry Allen/The Flash when they were just 22 and after numerous delays and false starts, The Flash finally hits theaters in June.
The film’s first trailer showed Barry disrupting the main timeline–as he tends to do now and then–and showed the return of Michael Shannon’s General Zod a decade later. The obvious notable cameos are Michael Keaton as Batman after over 30 years, and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, but there’s still one more that hasn’t been seen.
Ben Affleck went on the Smartless podcast to promote the upcoming Nike biopic Air (via THR), and revealed another central DC character that appears in the film. Fans can probably guess based on the other recent DC recent movie, but we’ll keep the reveal below this spoiler warning.
The sets aren’t ready, and the actors have no eyes: making game trailers
“Imagine someone saying ‘We need you to make a trailer for our movie, but we’ve only got half of the sets and props ready…” says Tim Bevan de Lange, Creative Director at Realtime Nordic, a studio that makes, specifically, video game trailers. “…and we haven’t actually shot anything, so you’ll need to do that yourself. Some of the actors won’t come out of their trailers. One of them will but if you shoot him from the front you realise he’s got no eyes, but don’t show the audience that. It’s not intentional, he’s getting them fixed. Also can you film it twice, for different streaming platforms? Make a really good version for Netflix and a slightly worse looking one for Quibi.”
Every so often a game trailer comes along that makes me think, hang on, that was bloody brilliant! I bet some people made that! Most recently it was Creative Assembly’s Immortal Empires trailer. Well, I’ve been digging around and I’m happy to report that yes, although I’m the first one to just see a trailer as an algorithm trying to snatch my coin purse away like a manure-encrusted Victorian ne’er-do-well, game trailers are made by humans. They’re often humans who do it as as specific job, either in-house at a developer or as an outside agency like Realtime Nordic. Enlightened and enthralled, I asked some of them about what went into the strange space that is making the trailers for your favourite games.
