Microsoft’s Phil Spencer candidly admits the company lost the console wars to competitors
Microsoft’s Phil Spencer seems a bit down-trodden when talking about the performance of Xbox.
Speaking with Kinda Funny Games, Spencer said that while the company isn’t in the business of “out-consoling Sony or out-consoling Nintendo,” there isn’t really a solution or win for the company.
Because of this, and languishing in third place, Microsoft decided instead of fighting a console war, it would instead focus on the cloud and subscription services like Game Pass with its new generation of consoles.
Kevin Costner’s wife files for divorce as Yellowstone actor admits ‘circumstances beyond his control’ led to split
YELLOWSTONE star Kevin Costner’s wife, Christine Baumgartner, has chosen to end her relationship with Kevin after 18 years.
Kevin took responsibility for the choices that drove him and Christine to divorce after almost two decades of marriage.

Christine recently filed for divorce from Kevin[/caption]
Christine, 49, filed on Monday, TMZ reported.
The clothing designer didn’t divulge specifically why she wanted to quit the relationship.
Instead, she just declared the reason being as merely “irreconcilable differences.”
A representative from Kevin’s team told TMZ that the divorce is of great sadness to the 68-year-old.
“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,” the representative explained.
“We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”
The estranged couple shares three children together: sons Cayden, 15, and Hayes, 14, and daughter Grace, 12.
At this time, Christine is only asking for joint custody of their kids, and not for spousal support.
In a response that Kevin’s lawyer Laura Wasser, 54, filed on his behalf on Tuesday, it was acknowledged that spousal support was “to be payable to petitioner” per their “Premarital Agreement.”
Also, in the response, it was explained that Kevin wanted joint custody of their kids as well.
Christine was Kevin’s second wife.
WHO IS CHRISTINE?
Kevin married Christine Baumgartner in 2004.
She was most famously known for her work with E! Live from the Red Carpet, Primetime, and Die Johannes B. Kerner Show.
Christine is also a former model and current handbag designer who got a degree in Business from California State University.
While the estranged couple have three children together, Kevin himself is the father of seven.
His previous children come from his past relationships with Cindy Silva and Bridget Rooney.
Kevin’s other children include Annie, Lily, Joe, and Liam.
It was revealed in 2012 that he and Christine almost did not get married because he wasn’t interested in having any more children.
“She said, ‘I’m going to wait for you, but not long. When you come to your senses, come back to me,’” Kevin told Parade back in 2012.
“And I did.”
Kevin and Christine chose to raise their children out of the spotlight on their 165-acre Dunbar Ranch; just outside Aspen, Colorado.
THE SHOW GOES ON
While Kevin may no longer have a wife, he still does have a thriving career.
For the past six years and the past five seasons, he has led the Yellowstone cast.
Kevin first signed on to the Western TV drama in May 2017.
Not only does he play one of the main characters, but he is also an executive producer for the show.
The Oscar winner takes on the part of Montana rancher-turned-governor John Dutton III.
His role as the Dutton family’s patriarch netted him his third Golden Globe win.
At the 2023 ceremony, Kevin took home the award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama.
Regarding the program’s development and what drew him to Yellowstone, he told Deadline: “I like to think my tastes are broad but a lot of people think I do anything with a horse in it.
“Western themes are very hard to pull off. There’s a tendency to think white hat, black hat and it’s much more complicated.

Dancing on Ice judge hits back at claims show is fixed but admits it IS a popularity contest
DANCING on Ice judge Ashley Banjo has hit back at claims the ITV show is fixed but admits it IS a popularity contest as he launched his fab new clothes range for Peacocks.

He has reassured fans the show is not fixed[/caption]
Dancing on Ice is renowned for its glitzy line-up of stars from Hollywood legends, music giants, TV and sporting heroes, some who fans reckon have stayed on the show longer than expected.
Ashley reassured fans all was above board at the launch of his stylish clothes range Approved, where Love Island’s Teddy Soares and Ron Hall partied alongside Diversity’s Perri Kelly at Notting Hill’s plush Los Mochis restaurant.
BAFTA winning BGT star Ashley told The Sun: “It’s not fixed, because that would be illegal. Of course it is partially a popularity contest – it’s not the olympics. People vote for who they like. It’s about people developing. Using a skill to express your performance.”
Meanwhile Ashley and Perri have revealed Diversity are set to return to the ITV show for an epic performance later this series.
Dance group Diversity who won the talent competition back in 2009, have returned to the show each year with a special performance.
This year looks to be no different – with Perri confirming that they have no plans to “break tradition” and have been asked by show bosses to return once again.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Ashley said: “I was at rehearsals with the boys and they were showing me some of the auditions. There is some amazing talent this year.
“There is a guy who set himself on fire, what is that about.”
While Diversity prepare to go back on the road for an epic tour in September, as well as gearing up for playing the Tin-man in The Wizard of Oz this summer in the West End, Ashley has been busy with his clothes range.
The edit includes polo and short co-ords, oversized tees, loungewear, chinos and breezy shorts in a neutral colour palette for head to toe tonal dressing including earthy greens, khaki, pale pink and onyx black.
Ashley said: “I’d love to see Barack Obama in it. That would be something. I’d send some to Simon Cowell, but not sure if he’d wear it though,” he smiled.
Ashley added: “Being a dancer, movement and style go hand in hand and I really wanted to reflect that in this new edit with Peacocks. I liked expanding my creativity into pieces that I thought reflected my style and vibe for the summer. After all the love and attention to detail that has gone into this collection I can’t wait to see people actually wearing it.”
Ashley Banjo: Approved is available online www.peacocks.co.uk and in over 340 Peacocks stores nationwide.
