Fallout 76’s theatre troupe performed a bloody version of Alice In Wonderland
For all of Fallout 76’s faults, the multiplayer shooter has fostered one of the most interesting communities in any game, leading to fun mutations such as the theatre company experimenting with performance art in-game. The Wasteland Theatre Company previously tackled Shakespeare and A Christmas Carol, and they’ve now reconvened with a post-apocalyptic performance of Alice In Wonderland, appropriately adapted as Alice In The Wasteland.
Star Trek’s Alice Eve uses celeb dating app Raya after ending her romance with aristocrat boyfriend
ALICE EVE has called time on the romance with her aristocrat boyfriend and is looking for love through celeb dating app Raya.
The Star Trek actress spent much of lockdown with film producer Pete Czernin, whose family owns 92 acres of Central London.
But I can reveal the couple have parted ways.
Alice was spotted on Raya last week, show-casing a series of selfies and a glam red-carpet snap.
A source close to the star, who was previously married to financier Alex Cowper-Smith, tells me: “Alice realised they wanted different things.
“She’s feeling fun and flirty and ready to meet someone.”
Speaking previously about what she looks for in a man, Alice revealed: “A kind man is most important, especially if you want a family.
“Having seen my friends go through having kids, a good husband who’s understanding and there is necessary.”
Happy swiping, Alice.
Beautiful Alice In Wonderland-inspired slasher Ravenlok is coming to PC and Game Pass in May
Cococucumber – the folks behind the beautifully odd Echo Generation – are ready to release their next voxel adventure, the fairytale slasher Ravenlok coming to PC, Game Pass, and Xbox consoles on May 4th. It’s clearly riffing on Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland as our protagonist, the titular Ravenlok, moves to a new inherited house, gets sucked through a magical mirror and steps into a trippy, mushroom-filled land. From there, she needs to fight this realm’s off-brand Queen Of Hearts and save the remaining, slightly weird, storybook denizens.
American McGee is leaving game dev following rejection of Alice: Madness Returns sequel
Some bad news for Alice: Madness Returns fans, as creator American McGee has said that a proposal for a new game has been rejected.
In a new Patreon post from American McGee titled “End of the Adventure,” the creator of the cult classic series has shared the news that fans shouldn’t expect a new game, as EA has rejected any potential sequel. McGee set up the Patreon in order to help fund a design bible for Alice: Asylum, the hypothetical sequel, which he’s built up over the past few years. However, according to McGee’s post, EA has rejected funding a sequel.
“After several weeks of review, EA has come back with a response regarding funding and/or licensing for Alice: Asylum,” reads the post. “On the question of funding, they have ultimately decided to pass on the project based on an internal analysis of the IP, market conditions, and details of the production proposal. On the question of licensing, they replied that Alice is an important part of EA’s overall game catalogue, and selling or licensing it isn’t something they’re prepared to do right now.”
No Alice sequel, says EA
American McGee’s Alice sequel pitch rejected by EA
For the past several years, American McGee has been crowdfunding efforts to produce a third entry in his series of action-horror games inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Those efforts produced a 414 page design bible for “Alice: Asylum”, which McGee used to pitch the project to rights-holders Electronic Arts.
McGee says that Electronic Arts have decided to pass on the project. As such, McGee says he has “reached an endpoint with ‘Alice’ and with game production in general.”
American McGee’s Alice Madness Returns sequel dropped by EA
The sequel to Alice Madness Returns, titled Alice Asylum, has been scrapped by EA according to designer American McGee. The potential action-adventure game had been in Patreon-funded limbo for some time, as fans of the cult classic helped make the design document eventually seen by EA a reality, but the publisher has decided not to move forward with the series, despite calling it an “important” part of their library.
