I can’t believe the designer shoes I found at Goodwill – they retail for hundreds, it’s crazy but I’m not complaining
A THRIFTY shopper knew better than to let a good buy pass her by.
She had certainly snagged the shoe deal she had been dreaming of.
“When you find Golden Goose at Goodwill,” said Han Azim (@styleswithshea).
Amidst crowded racks of shoes, the budget buyer had found the designer deal of her dreams.
The white sneakers featured the brand’s signature star on the side – and sell for hundreds of dollars.
“These are the thrift vibes we need for 2024,” she said.
Similar sneakers from Golden Goose sell for over $500.
Her fans were left dumbfounded over the deal.
“Omg my dream!” said one shocked follower.
“I can’t believe it!” she replied.
“I would just die,” another viewer remarked.
And the savvy shopper’s haul was just getting started.
“I went to Goodwill this morning and here’s everything I found today,” she said in a second video.
First, she held up a blue pair of Year of Ours leggings followed by a crochet top and wide-leg black Zara jeans.
Han continued to show off her steals that included a vintage Bill Blass sweater, Aerie ribbed pants, Free People movement joggers, and an Abercrombie and Fitch bodysuit.
And she wasn’t done just yet with her designer deals.
“This stunning Frame blouse – love this one,” she said.
The red short-sleeved find was having her give thanks to the Goodwill gods.
Next came a purple Athleta tank top, another crochet cardigan, and an LL Bean corduroy button-up shirt.
Holding up a powder blue dress, she couldn’t believe her thrifting luck.
“A new with tags Petal and Pup dress,” she said.
She also picked up a Lulus ribbed midi dress, a never worn Free People knit dress, and a vintage black midi skirt.
Han was ready to keep on saving while looking stylish.
“Amanda Uprichard stunning maxi dress,” she said.
She held up the layered peach colored frock.
Her fans were in disbelief over the finds.
“The Frame blouse!” said one follower.
She reflected on her grand find finale: the Golden Goose sneakers.
“That was a crazy way to end the thrift trip but I am not complaining,” said Han.

US officials believe Chinese hackers lurk in critical infrastructure
Chinese hackers have been hiding in US critical infrastructure for at least the last five years, CNN reported on Wednesday. By lurking behind the scenes of transportation, water, electricity and other important systems, the hackers have the opportunity to strike whenever they deem the time is right, US officials say in a 50-page report on the subject. A public version of the full document is set to be released next week.
Officials from the FBI and the Justice Department previously issued a court order to update software that could succumb to Chinese hacking. The effort aimed to fight Chinese hacking by remotely disabling certain affected systems. According to the department, it was able to remove code from hundreds of internet routers that could have let Chinese hackers in.
The forthcoming report reveals just how long this has been going on, and how bad a potential cyberattack could be. It’s set to detail hackers’ techniques, while providing guidance to companies behind critical infrastructure systems on how to find Chinese hackers in their systems. There are no signs in the report that hackers have acted maliciously against US infrastructure yet.
Hackers started by getting into IT systems and, from there, working their way into more important tech behind US infrastructure. They also broke into security cameras at some of the facilities and, in another case, accessed water treatment plants, the report says.
Last week, FBI director Christopher Wray warned Congress that Chinese hackers were preparing to wreck havoc on US critical infrastructure systems. “Cyber threats to our critical infrastructure represent real world threats to our physical safety,” he said at the hearing.

Believe It or Not, We Talked to the Author of The Greatest American Hero Companion
It only ran for two and a half seasons from 1981 to 1983, but The Greatest American Hero—starring William Katt as an unassuming teacher who receives a super-powered suit from aliens, then promptly loses the instructions—has left an indelible mark on pop culture. You probably already have the theme song stuck in your…

Players are struggling to believe Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom actually exists
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a video game you can actually play right now, but some players are struggling to believe it exists.
If you’ve somehow forgotten, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was first announced four years ago, back in 2019, a time before all of you know what kicked off, but it’s a bit hard to believe the game is actually here. It turns out I’m not the only one that is constantly thinking, “hold on, I’m actually playing the sequel to Breath of the Wild,” as over on Reddit players have been expressing their disbelief that the game even exists at all. Some light spoilers ahead, though nothing about the story.
Reddit user Teakmahogany kicked off the thread, titled “Is anyone else having a moment where they cannot believe this game exists?” writing that as “I’m playing this game, I can’t believe it….This is [Breath of the Wild]… but enhanced. It kept everything about [Breath of the Wild] that made it amazing and doubled down on it. I sometimes have to take a moment in and breathe… I cannot believe this game exists!”
