Moment Paul McCartney, 80, nearly run over by Uber driver on iconic Abbey Road crossing
PAUL McCartney gets a hard day’s fright — as he’s nearly run over on Abbey Road.
The former Beatle, 80, almost needed help after an Uber driver whizzed past as he posed on the famous zebra crossing.
Sir Paul was on a magical mystery tour with his daughter as she filmed him recreating the Fab Four’s 1969 album cover, below, for her documentary about the North London recording studio.
Mary, 53, told S Magazine: “The bit where the car nearly ran him over was so funny.”
One fan commented: “How did the driver not see him, it’s not as though the road is long and winding or anything?”
Another said: “Holy Moly! Obviously didn’t recognise him with his shoes on.”
Not to be outdone, another chipped in with: “Doesn’t that just sum up modern Britain, with a typical Toyota Pious driver!”
Fans still regularly visit the famous crossing in St John’s Wood to recreate the Fab Four’s iconic album cover.

VHS Recording of BIGFOOT CROSSING ROAD Recently Found (VIDEO)
A 9-second clip from a VHS recording that shows a Bigfoot crossing a road in front of the vehicle, possibly in California, has recently surfaced. What are your thoughts on this video?
The following clip was forwarded to Unexplained-Mysteries.com and posted on their forum:
“My dad sadly passed very recently, I and my brother were sorting through his personal possessions, and we found a few VHS video tapes. Just out of curiosity, we decided to view them, nothing worth talking about, except for one.
On one tape there is a 9-second clip, a bit strange, showing some type of dark figure moving across the road, we’ve isolated the 9 seconds of footage, the rest of the tape was blank.
We asked mum what she knew about this tape, and she said that all she knew was that dad and a few friends saw it and caught it on tape and that it was filmed years ago in the 1970s somewhere in California when he was in his twenties.
She said dad showed her the video many years ago, but he never mentioned it after that. She said he described it as a large Bigfoot-type creature, covered in dark hair, and that it didn’t look human, he said the thing went behind a tree and vanished into thin air and was gone, they never saw it again after it vanished. That’s all she could tell us, pretty strange if you ask me.
Anyway, we have decided to send it out to some paranormal groups, get it out there and hopefully get some opinions as to what it might be? If you want to upload it to your platforms to share it with your audience, then it’s cool with us.”

Haven Park mixes A Short Hike with Animal Crossing and is currently free to keep
Are there any sweeter words than “A Short Hike-like”? Both because the sweet, mountain adventure is one of my favourite games, and because “Hike-like” is a fun rhyme. Well, anyway, Haven Park is like A Short Hike crossed with Animal Crossing, and it’s currently free to keep from GOG.

Boy, 12, ‘died crossing busy road because of flooded underpass’, says family
A BOY died crossing a busy road because its underpass was flooded, his family says.
Tyler Wills, 12, was hit by a car on Friday after days of heavy rain and died later in hospital.
His stepdad, Pete Fraser, 35, said he was forced to try to cross because the underpass had filled with water.
And he is demanding action so no other family in Crawley, West Sussex, faces similar heartache.
He said: “I don’t remember when that underpass hasn’t flooded in winter.
“When I was a child we’d run across that road every day.
“Why hasn’t it been sorted?”
Pete said seeing workers draining the underpass at the weekend added insult to injury.
Tyler’s father, Craig Wills, is starting a petition calling for action.
On Friday, emergency services rushed to the scene at about 2.45pm and the youngster was rushed to hospital, but sadly died soon after.
Several floral tributes and teddy bears were left at the scene as cops appeal for information relating to the crash.
One left by his heartbroken mum and dad tells of his “gorgeous smile” and “kind heart”.
His grieving parents also called him the “brightest star shining in the night time sky” in the emotional tribute.
West Sussex council declined to comment as police are investigating.
