Destiny 2 Season Of The Deep First-Look Reveals Increased Exotic Drops, Fewer Pinnacles
Bungie has revealed the first artwork from the upcoming Season 21 of Destiny 2, known as Season of the Deep. That provides an exciting first look at what awaits, both in terms of the story and seasonal armor, but the art is accompanied by some other very notable details concerning the acquisition of Exotic gear and Pinnacle rewards.
On the artwork side, you can see the debut image from Season of the Deep below, as shared in the latest This Week at Bungie. One of Lightfall’s quests teases where things might be going in the story, suggesting we’ll be returning to Titan (one of the locations that’s been vaulted for more than a year) to seek out an enemy of the Witness. The art may show a glimpse of that enemy, as Titan is known to be home to some sort of enormous being in the depths of its seas. We also see what certainly appears to be Sloane, Titan’s vendor and a key story character who has also been MIA since Titan went missing. Notably, she seems to now have a Taken-style look to her arm.
Beyond that, we also get a look at the new aquatic-themed armor for Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks that we’ll likely get as part of the Season of the Deep season pass and its accompanying seasonal activities.
Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2023 Guide: Medallions, Armor, New Scout Rifle, And Exotic
The annual Destiny 2 Guardian Games event has returned for 2023, and it comes with some adjustments, new rewards to earn, and an event card. As always, this is a class-based event that pits Titans vs. Warlocks vs. Hunters for bragging rights over the next year. Here’s the full rundown on what you need to know about earning medallions, scoring in Supremacy mode, and obtaining the new scout rifle, Exotic sparrow, and Heir Apparent catalyst.
How to start Guardian Games
To get underway, visit the Tower and speak with Eva Levante. The Tower has been adorned with a bunch of vaguely Olympics-y decorations, and Eva will be the key vendor throughout the event.
Eva will give you a new Guardian Games class item, and you should keep it equipped during the event. Completing activities with this class item equipped will earn you medallions, which is the currency used to push your class toward victory and earn yourself rewards. You should also note that the class item is required to make progress on certain bounties offered by Eva.

Where Is Xur Today? (April 21-25) – Destiny 2 Exotic Items And Xur Location Guide
It’s the start of another weekend in Destiny 2, and like clockwork, Xur is back to offer a selection of Exotic and Legendary gear. As usual, you can get your hands on legacy Exotics, rare armor, and weapons that might have desirable rolls for PvE or PvP activities. Here’s where you can find Xur this weekend and what the Agent of the Nine has for sale.
This week you can find Xur on Nessus, in The Watcher’s Grave. For his weapon, Xur is offering The Wardcliff Coil. Hunters can pick up The Bombardiers boots; Titans can grab An Insurmountable Skullfort helmet; and for Warlocks, Xur has Ophidian Aspect gauntlets.
Xur Location
Head to Nessus and use the Watcher’s Grave transmat zone to find Xur this week. When you arrive, hop on your sparrow and head north toward the exit of the area. Look for a big tree with pink moss on the right side of the area. Climb up onto its big, flat branch, where you can reach Xur.
TWAB previews season 21 Destiny 2 Exotic ornament, starts vote on next
A Destiny 2 Exotic ornament for the beloved Arbalest linear fusion rifle is coming to Bungie’s popular FPS game in Destiny 2 season 21. As part of the Bungie team’s ongoing This Week at Bungie (TWAB) series, the developers showcased the ornament, titled Synthwave, which members of the community selected with 55.5% of the vote in a competition last year. The TWAB also announced a new community vote, which will take place in several parts as Destiny 2 players vote on which Exotic weapon they’d like to see get a new ornament and have the opportunity to vote on several designs for that ornament.
