Judas release date, trailers, gameplay, story, and more
When is the Judas release date? We are huge fans here of games such as BioShock and BioShock Infinite, where the player explores a dystopian world filled with ambitious technology, cool abilities, and top-notch storytelling. So naturally, when Judas was revealed in December last year, complete with its System Shock-like vibes, it grabbed our attention.
If you’re in the dark about why we’re so excited, Judas is an upcoming FPS game by Ghost Story Games, a studio led by Ken Levine and other former Irrational Games developers. Yes, the same people behind the aforementioned BioShock and BioShock Infinite. Like those earlier games, Judas will be a single-player story game, but one set in a futuristic sci-fi universe, much in a similar vein to BioShock’s predecessor. While we’re still quite a ways off, we can shed some light on what to expect with the upcoming Judas release date, trailers, gameplay, story, and more.
A Dash Of PvP Adds A Competitive Edge To Evercore Heroes’ Enthralling MOBA-Like Gameplay
Evercore Heroes is a competitive PvE game in which each match sees your squad of four participating in missions against hordes of AI-controlled enemies, but you’re doing so at the same time as three other teams all on the same map. So it’s a little PvP too in terms of each match being a race between four different teams. It’s a creative idea for Vela Games’ debut title, upping the ante of PvE scenarios with the competitive drive of PvP. This setup works–I left a preview event for Evercore Heroes wishing I could play just one more match, which is my go-to benchmark for whether a free-to-play multiplayer game has that magic touch to make it in the increasingly crowded live-service market. If you can make your players go, “Okay, one more game,” then you’ve stumbled onto something special.
In Evercore Heroes, you play as one of several Heroes–there will be 14 at the game’s launch–who fall into your traditional roles of damage, tank, or support. Your team of four then loads onto a map alongside three other teams. Each team has free reign to do what they want to prepare for the first wave of enemies coming to destroy your spawn point. You could capture an objective to secure resources to upgrade your characters, for example, or kill a miniboss to upgrade your chosen hero’s unique abilities.
As you race around the map, you can see the opposing teams completing objectives as well, represented as small glowing sprites within your world. Once a task has been completed on the map, it counts as completed for every team, so your squad has to decide whether it’s worth racing against the other teams for the bigger payoffs or completing the smaller, often-ignored objectives. You can also use special PvP items like a frost grenade that can stun all the opposing players around you, slowing them down on whatever objective you’re trying to finish first.
Payday 3 gets a short but sweet teaser trailer promising gameplay is coming this summer
A very brief teaser trailer from Starbreeze Studios and Prime Matter has told us when we can finally see some Payday 3 gameplay.
The total runtime of Payday 3’s latest teaser trailer is 20 seconds, but only about three seconds of that is something that isn’t just text on a screen. Aside from the various logos which take up half the length of the video, it does tell us the most important thing, which is that we can expect to see some gameplay for Payday 3 sometime this summer. “Gameplay. This summer. Don’t miss out,” the trailer plainly tells us, but doesn’t go any more specific than that (thanks, PC Gamer). E3 is dead in the water, so it won’t be appearing there, but there is always the chance that gameplay will show up at one of the many showcases that seem to be increasing in number every summer.
While there’s literally no other information in the trailer itself, over on Steam, the devs have cleared up its intentions just a little bit more about what’s going on. “We’re now 5 months into the Year of PAYDAY 3, with not a lot of info revealed about the game yet,” reads the post. “This has been frustrating for a lot of you, but we promise you the wait will be worth it. Our team has been working very hard on the game, this is still the year of PAYDAY 3 after all, and we’re now almost ready to start lifting the lid and let you all in on how the game is coming along.”

Skywind shines in this stunning gameplay video showcasing the Morrowind mod project
The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind recently celebrated its 21st anniversary, and the folks behind the Skywind have released a new gameplay video for the total conversion mod.
The 20-minute video shows off the Necromancer in Mawia quest, where you act as an agent of the Tribunal Temple over in Molag Amur. The Morrowind mission showcases re-imagined assets, level design ideas, and more immersive dialogue and scripted sequences.
Because the project is still in the works, you may notice gaps, missing dialogue, floating objects, or placeholders from Skyrim included in the video.
Redfall release date, trailers, gameplay, story, and news
If you’re looking for the Redfall release date, we have all the information you need. The co-op vampire shooter comes from developer Arkane, best known for building rich, very deliberate worlds, and weaving intricate stories around their fascinating creations. This time, instead of a space station, or the clockwork city of Dunwall, they’ve focused on a small tourist town in the eastern US.
Are there vampires? Sure. A sniper with an undead eye? Check. They even have a cryptozoologist, because why not. The cast of Redfall characters is varied enough, but how will this co-op game fare when compared to Arkane’s other creations? Many have likened Redfall to co-op shooters like Left 4 Dead, although it’s more like Far Cry than the aforementioned zombie shooter. Here’s what we know about its release date, all the trailers, gameplay, and more.
