My co-worker has a very NSFW name – people joke I’m ‘on a list’ for Googling it
A CONFUSED Redditor has shared the very NSFW name of a coworker — people made it the butt of their jokes.
People joked that they’re probably on a list somewhere for an unfortunate name Google search.

An anonymous Redditor u/PelagiaThePissedOff shared the unfortunate story they came across in a forum, hoping for some advice.
“I almost considered flairing this NSFW but the whole point is that it’s not! And that’s confusing!” the Redditor began, distressed.
Soon, the Redditor reveals the source of their stress: “I have a coworker named Anally,” they said.
“It is supposed to be pronounced ‘ANA-lee,’ but pretty much nobody gets it right the first time from reading it.”
They explained that everyone in the company works remotely and there’s always confusion when people meet Anally for the first time.
“I just refused to say her name until I was certain I’d heard the correct pronunciation and I must admit that it took a WHILE (literally months) because pretty much everyone else would avoid saying her name as well,” they said.
In an attempt to understand why someone would name their child that, the Redditor took it upon themselves to see if other people had similar names.
“When Googling ‘Anally baby name,’ within the first 5 searches, it includes ‘baby name: anus’ and the sixth search is ‘anal name meaning,’” they said, searching the results of their research.
Unfortunately, nothing came up that was of use: “I didn’t find a correct pronunciation (it was either left blank on sites or just… wrong) at least on all the websites I went to.”
At the end of the day, the Redditor still struggled to wrap their minds around the unique name.
“Just wondering: what would be the attraction to using this name (like genuinely, does anyone know any information about its meaning)? Would you ever use a name like this?”
People took to the comments to share their thoughts.
A few made jokes at their expense: “Bro is on a list now for googling that,” said one commenter.
Others shared stories of people they knew with variations of the unfortunate name.
“I work with someone named Annali and I can’t help but think anally because we work at long term care and are nurses,” said one.
“Somewhat related, there’s a high school in my area called Analy High school (pronounced Anna lee) but everyone who does not go there calls it Anal-lee,” said another.
“With a name like that, you’re just asking for people to make fun of it.”
Love Island’s Davide shocks fans with X-rated joke as he and Ekin-Su show off their huge new sofa in stylish apartment
LOVE Island winner Davide Sanclimenti turned up the heat after Ekin Su Cülcüloğlu showed off their swanky new apartment.
The cheeky chappy couldn’t help himself after his girlfriend shared a snap of their huge sofa on Instagram.
The couple, who won 2022’s series of the dating show, enjoyed a wholesome pillow fight on their HUGE new cream sofa in their London pad.
“Testing the sofa… We love falling asleep on here ” Ekin wrote.
Davide, 28 commented on the photo: “and not just that ”.
His comment racked up nearly 1,400 likes with many taken back by his boldness.
“DAVIDE. Behave now ” one wrote, while another added: “not surprised. us italians have no filter”
“oh my god davide. You’re a menace. I love it!” another wrote.
As well as being entertained by Davide’s tongue-in-cheek sense of humour, one of Ekin’s followers joked that the sofa was bigger than their flat.
“That massive king sized sofa is probably bigger than my whole apartment”, they wrote.
The snaps revealed glimpses of their open-plan dining room which had stunning views of the Thames.
Their flashy home didn’t go unnoticed, with one fan writing: “i know you two are thriving because chileeeeee look at that view”, while another said: “Look at that beautiful view of the Thames”.
Italian stallion Davide lived in Manchester when he met Ekin-Su on the ITV show, but after they left the villa with their £50,000 they quickly moved in together in the capital.
Since then, they’ve been on plenty of romantic trips together, including a trip to Mallorca where they first laid eyes on each other.
The pair hit a rough patch recently after Ekin, 28, was left furious after discovering messages from two models on Davide’s phone.
In a bid to clear the air, the couple headed to Amsterdam and Davide is said to be desperate to win Ekin over again – which judging by his comment, he has.
An insider said: “Ekin has been angry and upset and the pair really needed a change to reconnect.
“Ekin and Davide are at their best when they are away from everyone else and can concentrate on each other – without any distractions.
“Davide has a lot of grovelling to do and he’s vowed to cut down on clubbing in Manchester without her.”

One Redfall easter egg is a joke that’s been running for three decades
If Looking Glass Studios had survived until this day, its premises would be the least secure in the US games industry. The legendary developer secreted the door code to its office into the first level of System Shock – and ever since, the numbers 0451 have become a calling card for those who share Looking Glass’s immersive sim values; studios that tap into System Shock’s deep worldbuilding, dense level design, and reactive simulation.
Redfall is the latest to pay homage, but follows nearly 30 years of riffs and twists on the code that first allowed you access to Citadel space station’s healing suite. We’ve collated some of the most inventive and memorable below, and won’t even ask you to crack a combination lock to see ‘em.
Ion Storm Austin’s beloved spy story arrived half a decade after System Shock, yet was many players’ first introduction to the four digits that would shape a genre. Tucked away behind the helipad of UNATCO headquarters on Liberty Island – the scene of Deus Ex’s first terrorist standoff – is a comms van with a satellite dish, made accessible via the famous code. Funnily enough, before joining Ion Storm, lead designer Harvey Smith worked in satellite communications for the US air force. He put together the Liberty Island map, and later worked on both Dishonored and Redfall.

The Asus ROG Ally wasn’t an April Fool’s Joke, and it might be something you’ll want
On April 1, Asus announced it was bringing a handheld gaming system to the market called ROG Ally.
Because of the announcement timing, many thought Asus was pulling an April Fool’s joke, but it wasn’t: the ROG Ally is very real, and sounds rather nice.
According to YouTuber Dave2D (thanks, RPS), who received an early unit, the ROG Ally runs on Windows 11, features an AMD Zen 4/RDNA 3 chip, and sports a 120Hz, 1920×1080 screen. The system’s cooling fans are rather quiet, and the system is a light 608g in weight.
The Last of Us on PC is a cruel joke of a port that should not have been released
The Last of Us hype train seems to have never stopped. For a solid decade and counting, the message is that this fungal post-apocalyptic road trip is the game to end all games. A triumph of interactive entertainment as a narrative medium. As the people behind the HBO adaptation proudly stated, “the greatest story ever told in video games”.
This is, of course, nonsense. Don’t get me wrong – TLOU is good. Great, even. But to be repeatedly told that the tramadol Uncharted game with the ladders represents an entire medium at its peak feels like it tips over the line from marketing into straight up gaslighting. Still, you’d expect the entity ultimately responsible for the gaslighting (Sony) would be invested in making sure that the Greatest Game of All Time Ever wasn’t a bit of a dog’s breakfast when the PC port hit storefronts.
Unfortunately, it’s a bit of a dog’s breakfast. But first, the good: when it’s running, and not crashing, it looks lovely, sporting a suite of tweakable graphics options which can be pushed past the visuals found on PS5, which were already pretty lavish. In terms of image fidelity, the PC version is king, with denser foliage, higher resolution shadows, reflections, and particles all possible, and all running with decent ultrawide support if you have the requisite display.
