Rocket League Season 10 launches March 10 – adds game mode wait timer and other limited-time features
Rocket League season 10 is coming out on March 8, bringing the Volkswagen Golf II GTI to the game alongside a selection of new in-game changes.
Perhaps the most useful of new additions is an average wait time counter — which lets be honest doesn’t sound very exciting. However, it’ll give players a good idea of just how populated certain game modes are, which will save time otherwise wasted. That time can be spent in the lab, practising air control, something scrubs like me should take advantage of.
That new car, the Volkswagen Golf II GTI, will be available in the seasonal pass. Alongside it is a variety of cosmetics and other rewards that’ll fit into the theme of the season. Owners of the premium pass will be able to get their hands on an upgraded version of the car: the Volkswagen GTI RLE.

Overwatch 2 Limited-Time Mode Gives You God-Like Powers
Blizzard has revealed Battle for Olympus, a new limited-time mode for Overwatch 2. The upcoming event will take place from January 5 – 19, and based on the name, it’ll fit the Greek mythology theme seen in the ongoing Season 2.
The trailer opens up with the following heroes, all in Greek skins: Junker Queen, Roadhog, Pharah, Lucio, Ramattra, Widowmaker, and Reinhardt. Following that is a quick montage of all the heroes with the words such as “Unleash The Power Of The Gods” appearing on the screen. Players will also be able to earn rewards by playing in this event.
Based on the trailer, in this limited-time mode, each of the heroes previously listed will have additional powers based on specific Greek gods when their ultimate is activated. For example, near the end of the trailer Junker Queen is shown off in her Zeus-inspired skin, running toward enemies while attacking them with lighting. At the same time, Widowmaker is displayed in her Medusa-inspired skin turning Reinhardt into stone while aiming at him with her scope.

Save $50 on the Dyson Corrale hair straightener with this limited-time promo code
SAVE $50: The Dyson Corrale hair straightener/styler typically retails for $499.99, but you can get it on sale for $449.99 (or 10% off) through Saturday, Dec. 3 when you enter the promo code DYSONLIVE22 at checkout. Your order includes three complimentary gifts worth up to $125.
There’s a slim-to-zero chance you’ll see the Dyson Airwrap in stock anywhere this holiday season (much less on sale), but the Dyson Corrale is a different story — for a limited time, at least.
Now through Saturday, Dec. 3 at 11:59 p.m. ET, you can order the cordless hair straightener/styler directly through the Dyson website for just $449.99 using the promo code DYSONLIVE22 at checkout (offered in honor of this week’s Dyson Live holiday shopping event with celebrity stylist Jen Atkin). On top of that $50 discount on its $499.99 MSRP, you’re also given the option of bundling the Corrale with three complimentary gifts worth up to $125 total. Choose from the following:
-
a presentation case for storing your Dyson Corrale (worth $59.99)
-
a smoothing paddle brush (worth $39.99)
-
a detangling comb (worth $24.99)
-
a Dyson Vented barrel brush for adding volume to medium-length to long hair (worth $39.99)
It’s worth mentioning that Nordstrom Rack had the Corrale on sale for just $279.99 at the time of writing — its cheapest price anywhere — but it’s a refurbished model with a shorter warranty that’s not eligible for returns. It’s also only available in the standard Black Nickel/Fuchsia finish, whereas Dyson had models available in Black Nickel/Fuchsia, Black/Purple, Fuchsia/Nickel, Copper/Nickel, Prussian Blue/Rich Copper, and this year’s special gift edition Vinca Blue/Rosé the last time we checked.
You can grab a brand new Corrale on sale for $399.99 at Best Buy if you’re signed up for its free My Best Buy loyalty program (a lingering Black Friday deal), but it doesn’t include any free gifts. If you factor those in, Dyson’s current offer still reigns supreme.
Former Mashable tech reporter Rachel Kraus wasn’t a fan of the Corrale’s price tag or iffy battery life, but deemed it a worthy splurge for anyone in search of a fast straightener that won’t fry their hair with daily use. (Dyson says the Coralle’s manganese copper alloy “flexing plates,” which bend around your hair instead of smushing it, make it possible to style with minimal heat damage.) It’s also ace at creating soft curls and waves, Kraus noted in her 3.8/5-star review, in case you’re looking for a hair tool that can do double duty. That somewhat helps to justify its cost, IMO.
“It’s pricey; it’s frivolous for the moment, but — like most Dyson offerings — it’s a great product,” Kraus concluded.
