Good news, the latest Starfield update to enter Steam beta stops DLSS from making your clouds vibrate
Another update for Starfield has arrived in Steam beta ahead of a full release, and while this one’s not as huge as some of its predecessors, there are a few fixes in there that you should know about, especially if you’re using Nvidia DLSS and don’t want the clouds hovering above planets to look like they’re vibrating.
While we’re still waiting for the game’s Creation Kit to arrive so that modders can really take their additions to the next level and start pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, Bethesda’s been busy dealing with a litany of issues that’ve been affecting the Settled Systems. The latest batch of these includes a couple of key graphical and technical tweaks.
As detailed in the patch notes for update 1.9.67, one of its PC-specific fixes is aimed at “an issue that could make the clouds appear to vibrate when using [Nvidia] DLSS performance mode”. It’s kind of sad to have it confirmed that this is a bug, rather than, I don’t know, an intended symptom of your character messing with The Unity too much and causing the universe to start to break.

Making Farming More Climate-Friendly Is Hard. Just Ask Europe’s Politicians.
The farmers argue they’re being hit from all sides: high fuel costs, green regulations, unfair competition from producers in countries with fewer environmental restrictions. Nonetheless, agriculture accounts for 30 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions, and it’s impossible for the European Union to meet its ambitious climate targets, enshrined in law, without making dramatic changes to its agricultural system, including how farmers use chemical pesticides and fertilizers, as well as its vast livestock industry. It also matters politically. Changing Europe’s farming practices is proving to be extremely difficult, particularly as parliamentary elections approach in June. Farmers are a potent political force, and food and farming are potent markers of European identity. Agriculture accounts for just over 1 percent of the European economy and employs 4 percent of its population. But it gets one-third of the E.U. budget, mostly as subsidies.

David Gaider says making mythological musical Stray Gods was “a little bit more complicated” than expected
What can I say? I love games that have a bit of a sing-song. I’ve enjoyed the pop platforming of Sayonara Wild Hearts, the DIY DJ-ing in Fuser, the grungy game-meets-album Teenage Blob, and the recently released fist-pumping robot-thrashing Hi-Fi Rush just to name some from the top of my noggin’.
Music is a definitely big part of these games, but Stray Gods: A Roleplaying Musical has set itself on a different kind of musical path, in that it’s actually a musical. I’m talking like a full-on ballad-belter, curtain-caller, exit-stage-left-er musical. And get this: it’s also a modern retelling of the mythos behind the Greek Gods. It feels like my inner theatre kid has chugged ten Red Bulls and is waiting for her cue to burst out.
My little boy created a genius ‘side hustle’ making £15 in seconds… it’s cheeky but I’m so proud of him
A MUM has revealed how her little boy created a genius “side hustle” – and made £15 in seconds while doing.
Posting on TikTok under the username @fullmhouse, the divided parent explained exactly how his cheeky hustle worked.
A mum has revealed her son’s genius side hustle but it is a bit cheeky[/caption]
The TikToker said that her son could make around £15 in a few seconds[/caption]
The clip begins with the family – including young teen sons JJ and Reid hanging out at home in the US.
And text on the screen then reads: “We just found out our oldest son has been selling his younger brother his clothes that he would eventually get for free.”
The boys’ dad says: “I’m actually super impressed by Reid.”
Their mum then asks the youngest boy JJ: “What did you pay for this shirt?”
“$20 (£15), but he gave me other shirts too!” he replies defensively.
Then dad chimes in, laughing, “You can’t sell your hand me down shirts to JJ!
“JJ don’t buy hand me downs from Reid anymore.”
It’s then revealed that young Reid has made enough money to buy a new pair of Airpods.
And it meant his brother was left with only $120 (£95) of his savings.
As always TikTokers were quick to weigh in with their opinions in the comment section.
One wrote: “A young money maker, I love it.”
Another added: “Such an entrepreneur.”
Other viewers simply commented that Reid’s business sense was “epic” and “genius”.
Some viewers reminisced on their childhood and related to the youngster’s entrepreneurial instincts.
“I used to make my brother do my chores and I would give him money that I made and he could buy back his games that I took,” said one.
A second viewer wrote: “I used to save my happy meal toys and sell them to my cousin.”
While a third chimed in: “I always bet my brother a dollar that I could finish washing the dishes before he could drying them. Best hustle I ever ran.”
“I charged my younger sister rent when she wanted to sleepover in my room,” said another.
It comes as a woman revealed how she made £30k through an easy side hustle without leaving her house.
While another savvy entrepreneur shared how she made over £3,000 in just one week thanks to her side hustles.
Meanwhile, one student says that his side hustle means he can pay for his pints at the pub with the cash he makes every week.
The 21-year-old was previously struggling to pay his rent and go out and have a good time with his pals.
But now, he earns more than enough on the side to fund his social life and contribute towards his living expenses.
