Coyote vs. Acme’s Fate Might Have Been Sealed by Real Judge Doom David Zaslav
Just like the bad guy out of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, real life cartoon villain David Zaslav has revealed his nefarious plot: based on a damning investigative report from the Wrap, it seems the Warner Bros. head honcho planned to delete Coyote vs. Acmeall along. Apparently, he never even watched the movie.
Valve might cancel your Steam Deck purchase, if you look suspicious
It might be harder than you think to buy a Steam Deck OLED from Valve, particularly if you’re a new Steam account owner. In an attempt to prevent scalpers from getting hands on the Steam Deck OLED only to sell it at a higher price, Valve is outright canceling orders it thinks are suspicious, or asking for additional info before allowing the unit to ship.
It’s no secret that we rate the Steam Deck OLED as one of the best handheld gaming PCs, and you can only buy them brand new directly from Valve. While this could be viewed as limiting the market, it does allow for anti-scalper measures to be properly implemented like they are in this situation.

Tears of the Kingdom players think it might be tougher than Breath of the Wild
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a lot of changes from Breath of the Wild, and it looks like the biggest for some players is the difficulty.
When I first played Breath of the Wild back in 2017, I was surprised at how difficult the early game was. The weapon degradation system meant I always had to keep an eye on what I’m fighting with, enemies could do some pretty big hits, and obviously guardians were a nightmare to deal with. So colour me surprised when Tears of the Kingdom felt even harder than the first game, a feeling that a lot of other players seem to be sharing.
Players over on the Zelda subreddit are discussing their feelings on the game’s difficulty, with the user that started the thread opening with, “Who else loves the fact that this game is way harder than [Breath of the Wild]?” While I neither love nor hate how the game is harder, a number of players are definitely finding it more challenging than the first game.
Google might delete your Gmail account if you haven’t logged in for two years
Do you have any old Google accounts you haven’t used in a while? You might want to log in and take a look around once every 24 months or so, as Google has announced an update to its policies for inactive accounts. The old policy, laid out in 2020 at the same time it ended free unlimited storage for Google Photos, said that Google might wipe data stored in accounts that haven’t been touched for at least two years, but a blog post written by product manager Ruth Kricheli says that, now, those accounts could be deleted entirely.
The new policy won’t kick in until December of this year at the earliest, so you have some time to remember old login information or for us to get more details on how all of this will work. 9to5Google reports that…

Xbox Might Offer “Timed Slices” Of Games Or Games With Ads
Sarah Bond, the corporate vice president for games at Microsoft, revealed that Xbox is looking into other gaming models, such as “timed slices” with games or by putting ads in games.
In an interview with Rolling Stones UK, Bond was asked how developers can see success on Xbox. She said, “Game Pass is an option for developers,” then explained how Game Pass is just one of many business models by saying, “You have pay-to-play, then there was free-to-play, and then we introduced Game Pass.”
Bond says Xbox is looking into other strategies, too.
