King Charles pleaded with warring Harry & William not to make his ‘final years a misery’, duke’s bombshell book reveals
KING Charles pleaded with his sons not to make his “final years a misery”, Harry reveals in his bombshell book.
The Duke of Sussex says his father brought the feuding brothers together following Prince Philip‘s funeral in April 2021.

Harry’s explosive book Spare will be released next week[/caption]
Harry says Charles, then the Prince of Wales, stood between him and William while “looking up at our flushed faces”, reports the Guardian from a leaked extract of Spare.
He claims Charles said: “Please boy, don’t make my final years a misery.”
In his bombshell book – due to be released on January 10 – Harry also alleges his brother “knocked him to the floor” during an argument about Meghan Markle.
Harry, 38, claims he was left with a visible injury to his back following the argument in 2019 at Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace, where he was living at the time.
He says William was already “piping hot” when he arrived wanting to talk about their deteriorating relationship.
According to Harry, it turned into a shouting match as William complained about his wife Meghan, calling her “rude” and “abrasive”.
Harry accused his brother of repeating the press narrative before William insisted he was trying to help.
The Duke of Sussex responded: “Are you serious? Help me? Sorry – is that what you call this? Helping me?”
Harry claims he then poured William a glass of water and said: “Willy, I can’t speak to you when you’re like this.”
He then says his brother called him “another name” and then “came at me”.
Harry claims: “It all happened so fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor.
“I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”
The extracts of Harry’s book have been published by the Guardian. It is unclear how they obtained an early copy.
It comes after The Sun revealed that the book will take his war with brother William, 40, to a new level.
Harry’s biography Spare — expected to reveal more than his Netflix series — complains about him playing second fiddle.
The explosive book — called Spare and due to be published on January 10 — is set to go further than his £80million Netflix docuseries and give a detailed blow-by-blow account of their falling out.
Harry left senior royals in a “state of sadness” when he spoke to Netflix about private conversations at the Sandringham Summit.
He also accused William of “screaming and shouting”, refused to support claims he had not been bullied by his brother and alleged Charles told lies.
The book is set to delve deeper into his fury at William getting preferential treatment because he is higher up the line of succession.

I eat only meat and salt on TikTok’s viral Lion Diet – it’s been a ‘cure-all’ that ended my chronic illness misery
THE latest diet trend on TikTok is promising to be a “cure-all” for all of your health issues – and you only have to eat three things for 30 days.
The Lion Diet, which has been called a “healing elimination diet” has the person eating nothing but meat, salt, and water for 30 days.
The Lion Diet is the latest fad taking over TikTok[/caption]
People are only supposed to have meat, salt, and drink water while on the diet[/caption]
Several people have shared their experience with the diet, claiming it helped with allergies, headaches, bad skin, and regulated their moods.
RorysKitchen, a TikToker who suffers from food intolerances documented his month-long journey trying the diet to his more than 220,000 followers.
Rory set out to find out three things about the diet: If it could heal his gut, autoimmune issues, and health conditions; what his body would look like after eating only meat; and what his poop would look like.
As of his latest video, Rory is on day 23 of the diet and said his skin has started to look better, his sinuses were clearing up and he had more “regular” bowel movements.
TedEx speaker Mikhaila Peterson is credited with creating the diet.
“It eliminates all other dietary variables, and sustains your body’s nutritional needs, allowing you to thrive,” she wrote on her website.
Peterson, 28, struggled with several health issues since childhood.
She was chronically ill until she was 23 and suffered from selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors withdrawal until she was 25.
Peterson also suffered from juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and was put on immune suppressants when she was eight.
For years, Peterson struggled with chronic fatigue and itching all over her body and spent a year on OxyContin after having ankle joint replacement surgery.
She decided to change her diet after developing a rash associated with Celiac disease in the hopes that it would help her problems.
Peterson started with a restrictive paleo diet before eventually eating only meat.
“My brain and gut were so damaged that an all-beef or ruminant meat (like lamb and bison) diet, what I call the Lion Diet, was all I could tolerate,” she wrote.
Five years later, Peterson is still on the diet and is “healthy.”
She now hopes to show people that “they can improve their life themselves.”
Supporters of the diet claim that it helps with inflammation, improves moods, and relive issues such as headaches, insomnia, and allergies.
However, others have called the diet extreme and overly restrictive, saying that it’s unsustainable and unhealthy.
“The Lion Diet eliminates all foods except salt, water, and meat from ruminant animals,” said researchers from Healthline.
“In addition to being high in saturated fat, it’s unsustainable and likely to lead to nutritional deficiencies.”
The company also warned that it’s nearly impossible to dine out while on this diet.
“In addition to being potentially very unhealthy, the Lion Diet is difficult to follow and unsustainable in the long term.”

UK weather: Misery for drivers after floods & downpours swamp nation’s roads – with warnings in place & snow forecast
BRITAIN was hit by floods last night after being inundated with heavy rainfall that drenched the nation.
The Met Office issued weather warnings after a band of rain reached Cornwall on Wednesday afternoon before it lets rip across the country over the next two days.

It will then pass over Scotland’s east coast on Friday after bringing a week of “atrocious” weather for the majority of the UK.
The Met Office said the Scottish Highlands could even see some snow as they issued a yellow warning for rain due to the heavy downpours.
The Environment Agency has also issued three flood warnings and 43 flood alerts, mostly across the south coast.
Up to 20 cars were trapped in a swamp of water on the A27 in West Sussex after a day of rain drowned the region on Wednesday.

Police have been forced to close the major thoroughfare as the busy carriageway continues to flood.
Shocking footage showed motorists at a standstill while encircled by several inches of water as some drivers tried to travel through it.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the closure applies between the A259 west at Emsworth and A259 east at Fishbourne.
Commuters across the UK have been advised to expect “heavy delays” due to the barmy winter weather that is battering the country.

Cops in Winchester, Hampshire, also revealed a road had been blocked in Swanmore after a large tree was uprooted by the weather.
The Met Office’s first warning kicked in at 5pm, covering a southeast area stretching from Southampton and the Isle of Wight in Hampshire to the coast in Kent, until 6am on Thursday.
Brits have been advised to brace their homes and businesses as forecasters told people to expect flooding.
Another yellow rain warning will then comes into force across a large area of the UK for the whole of Thursday, from 12am until 11.59pm.
This covers an area stretching from Birmingham, Lincoln and Hull to north Wales, Liverpool and Manchester, as well as the east coast up to the Scottish border.
The Met said transport could be disrupted, roads could be deluged with water and communities could be temporarily cut off due to the extraordinary rainfall.
A third warning will come into force at 3pm on Thursday until 6pm on Friday for the east coast of Scotland, stretching from the English border up past Aberdeen with similar risks of flooding, and transport disruptions.
It brings a damp end to the working week for Brits, before snow is set to hit in a matter of days.
‘ATROCIOUS CONDITIONS’
Met Office spokesman Craig Snell said: “The warning areas are where we are most concerned about the risk of flooding but it doesn’t mean that the areas outside them are not going to see some pretty atrocious conditions.”
He said a warning was in place for the southeast because “it has been quite wet there since the beginning of November with many places already seeing more than their month’s share of rain”.
He added that conditions were “still going to be a pretty miserable evening for the whole of the south” and Londoners would have an “unpleasant commute home this evening”, but the wet conditions will have passed through the area by Thursday morning.
The Midlands and the north of England will have a “pretty miserable day” on Thursday after the rain sweeps in overnight, Mr Snell said.
“The rain will be accompanied by a brisk wind so it’s not going to feel good.”
But he added that Scotland could see “two days of persistent rain” and this may result in snow falling in the highlands – although this is not unusual for November.
“If you want to take a walk in the hills in Scotland tomorrow, you may come across snow but for the lower levels it is just going to be rain,” he said.
RAC breakdown spokesman Rod Dennis warned motorists to “exercise great care” during the wet weather.

He explained: “The chances of being involved in a collision rise dramatically in wet weather, and even more so if there’s snow, so it’s vital drivers slow down, leave plenty of space behind the vehicle in front and use their lights to make sure they’re easily seen by other road users.
“The risk of aquaplaning where a vehicle’s wheels lose contact with the road as they skim across standing water will be high, particularly for those who don’t slow down to appropriate speeds for the conditions.”
