Slack GPT brings native generative AI to chat app
Slack is working on new generative AI features that provide users with automated summaries of conversations and AI assisted writing natively within its collaboration app.
Slack had already discussed plans to connect its popular software to large language models (LLMs) offered by third-parties, announcing an integration with OpenAI’s ChatGPT (currently in beta) in March, and Anthropic’s Claude, available now. It expanded on those plans Thursday at parent company Salesforce’s World Tour event with the unveiling of Slack GPT, which will see generative AI integrated directly into the Slack app in a variety of ways.
Despite another year of support, The Division 2 won’t be getting a native PS5 or Xbox Series X/S version
Ubisoft recently hosted an event dedicated to catching everyone up on news from The Division sphere. We got a fresh look at The Division Heartland, the free-to-play PvEvP survival hybrid, as well as some updates about the mobile spin-off The Division Resurgence.
But the big news was arguably confirmation that The Division 2 will be getting one more year of support. Beginning in June, the game will kick off its Year 5, which is made up of four seasons.
Season One: Broken Wings marks the start of a new arc for the game’s story, and introduces a free mode called Descent, which brings a rogue-lite take on The Division’s gameplay, where up to four players start fresh with no gear or perks, and would need to unlock them as they go.
AutoCAD 2024 gets native Apple silicon support
AutoCAD for Mac 2024 Gains Native Apple Silicon Support
Optimized for both Apple silicon Macs and Intel Macs, the updated AutoCAD software will bring performance improvements to those who have M1 and M2 series Macs. Autodesk says that the native Apple silicon support can increase performance by up to two times compared to the non-optimized 2023 software.
“AutoCAD for Mac 2024 and AutoCAD LT for Mac 2024 deliver incredible, new performance improvements with the ability to run AutoCAD natively on Apple silicon,” says Dania El Hassan, Director of Product Management for AutoCAD, Autodesk. “It’s exciting to see how customers can now take full advantage of the latest hardware and M-series chips for faster ways to work.”
Other new features include Markup Import, Markup Assist, Smart Blocks Placement, Trace Updates, and more, with full details available on the Autodesk website.
