Angry vegan loses it at neighbour in Burns Beach, Perth, for cooking meat
We put up a fence to stop our creepy neighbour but he keeps finding a way to perv on my teenage girls
DEAR DEIDRE: OUR new neighbour is a peeping Tom.
He keeps finding ways to spy on me and my teenage girls despite my efforts to fit a garden fence and gate.
He is in his fifties and only leaves the house to walk his dog.
When we moved in, there was a small border that divided our gardens.
Each time my daughters would sit outside he would instantaneously appear in his garden to stare at them.
My daughters are 17 and 15.

The youngest says he gives her the creeps.
She tells me one day while I was out he approached her in the garden, complimented her on her dress and asked how old she was.
I’m 49 and that was it for me.
I ordered a garden gate and fence to be fitted that week to let him know I’m on to him, and to keep him away.
Since then, whenever my daughters or I are in the garden, hanging the washing even, I catch him looking from his upstairs window.
And now, to my astonishment, he’s installed CCTV cameras at the front and rear of his house.
The cameras at the back of his property are pointing into our garden.
I feel like he’s spying on us and it’s beginning to make me and my daughters feel increasingly uncomfortable.
None of us want to go in the garden.
I reported this to the police but they haven’t even spoken to him.
DEIDRE SAYS: Your home is meant to be a place of safety and you have every right to protect that.
You did the right thing to fit a fence.
While there’s no law against home owners installing CCTV, if you can demonstrate the cameras are pointing at your property this becomes a privacy issue.
Contact your local authority and the police again and ask them to investigate.
You can also contact the National Stalking Helpline (stalkinghelpline.org, 0808 802 0300) who help anyone who is being stalked or feels harassed.
Please also keep a log of all your dealings with your neighbour, detailing times, dates and the incident, as this will help your case.

My nightmare neighbour calls the police every time I use my back garden – I need revenge
A MAN is fed up with his nightmare neighbours who call the cops every time he uses his back garden – and he’s on the hunt for revenge.
He took to social media to share his anger and seek advice on getting his own back.

He posted on Reddit’s ‘Neighbours from Hell’ forum to complain, saying his neighbours make a noise complain every time he is in his garden – regardless of what he was doing.
He wrote: “I have a corner neighbour that everytime I’m in my backyard calls the police for a noise complaint.
“BBQ – noise complaint. Sitting by the fire pit – noise complaint. Smoking a cig – noise complaint. Going outside to play with the dog – noise complaint. Hot tub – noise complaint.
“This neighbour will wait for exactly for 10 pm and then call for a noise complaint. I’ve had cops come to my back fence at 10.05 before. I’ve tried talking to them and they won’t talk to me and the cops always just say ‘well keep it down’.”
He decided to use his online network to get his revenge.
He hunted for solutions, posting: “So I’m looking to this community for advice on how to deal with them or petty ways to get back at them.”
Reddit users were quick to run to his aid, with many chiming in with their own ideas for revenge.
Some said the best way to get back at the neighbours was to try and prove they were harassing him.
One commented: “Document each occurrence. Day, time, type of complaint, and police officer’s names. Build a case for harassment.”
Another suggested: “Go to the police station in person and tell them about the situation and that you are being harassed by your neighbour. Let the cops show up and ask them if they hear any noise? Oh you don’t? Okay I’d like to make a harassment claim against them for abuse of emergency services. Get cameras if you don’t have them already.”
“Live your life”, a third commented, adding: “The neighbour isn’t going to stop because they suck. You can just continue to live, unbothered. I do feel bad for the neighbour, they live such a horrible and miserable life.”
One Redditor suggested making friends with the cops, writing: “Lean in to it. When the cops show up, tell them a funny story about the dog, tell them to swing by when they are off duty for some BBQ, or just talk about your special interest.
“Be polite and charming, make the neighbours look like idiots without being an obnoxious a**hole yourself.”
This situation is not the first time rows have happened between neighbours.
A man had their neighbour’s car towed away because they kept parking on his driveway.
Meanwhile, another Reddit user in the same situation responded by blocking the offender in with her own vehicle.
Plus, this dad has blasted his neighbours for putting up a 6ft fence “an arm’s length” from his front door to stop his son playing on land they are fighting over.
Thug who attacked girlfriend’s neighbour broke into I’m A Celeb castle
A THUG who battered his girlfriend’s neighbour in a parking row had previously broken into the I’m A Celebrity castle.
Darryl Tipton punched Robert Edwards after he asked him not to block his drive with his car.

Mr Edwards suffered a cut elbow in the unprovoked attack last October.
Tipton, 34, of Colwyn Bay, North Wales, admitted assault and got a 12-month community order from magistrates in Llandudno on Monday.
He must also pay a £120 fine and £100 compo.
In 2021, Tipton walked into the I’m A Celeb set at Gwrych Castle near Abergele while the show’s stars were evacuated during a storm.
He bragged: “ITV need to beef up their security.”

My neighbour with one car hates me parking on her drive – but she has space for three motors
A WOMAN claims her neighbour with one car hates her parking on her drive even though there is space for three motors.
The anonymous mum was slammed by the resident living next door after she decided to park her car on their drive early one morning.

She said there was a parking suspension enforced on her road that day at 6am due to the council doing work on the street.
In a rush, the mum quickly went to move her vehicle before the council workers showed up.
Posting on Mumsnet, the woman claimed she had forgotten to move her car earlier and drove around her neighbourhood in search of a spot despite her young child being home alone as her husband had gone to work.
She said: “A woman on our street has a large driveway that can fit three cars. She only has one car.
“In desperation I parked my car in her drive, I had to get back home as I had left my child alone. I left a note on my car apologising and explaining I would move it once I had dropped [my] child to school.”
She went onto explain that after the school run she bumped into the neighbour and apologised.
But her neighbour was far from happy,
The woman added: “I apologised and she said ‘why didn’t you ask me?’ I explained I didn’t knock on her door as it was so early and she said she gets up at 5am to pray so she was awake.
“She then went on to say she is sick of people on the street doing this. I apologised again. I then said the enforcement is in place until 6pm so can I leave the car until then?
“She made a noise that didn’t sound like a yes or no and walked off with the dog. I just stood awkwardly not sure what to do.
“I’ve left the car there as the nearest place I can now park is about a mile away, every possible space is taken.”
The woman said she was considering returning that evening with a gift for the neighbour as an olive branch.
Many users said she should get her a gift and apologise again for the inconvenience.
One person said: “Get her a gift and an apologetic note.”
While another added: “Get her some flowers as a peace offering and move your car.
“You being disorganised over the road closure shouldn’t be causing her a problem.”
It comes after one motorist slammed his neighbour after secret footage revealed a parking debacle on their street.
The shocking video shows his neighbour trying to pinch a parking spot but in turn made himself look like a mug.
Another heated parking row also popped up online, showing neighbours being petty and blocking a cul-de-sac.
In the TikTok video the resident documents a number of mini-wars with other locals – sparking debate online.
