Drag queens serve elaborate meals in delightful ‘Drag Me to Dinner’ trailer
Hulu’s new competition series Drag Me to Dinner looks like what you’d get if you crossed RuPaul’s Drag Race with Top Chef. Each episode, two pairs of drag queens face off to create the perfect dinner party for the show’s superstar judges: Neil Patrick Harris, Bianca Del Rio, and Haneefah Wood. There will be cooking, there will be decorating, and there will be glorious, fabulous chaos.
Besides the show’s judges, Drag Me to Dinner boasts some pretty big names. New York City legend Murray Hill (so good in HBO’s Somebody Somewhere) hosts, while David Burtka produces and helps reveal each episode’s theme. And of course, the list of competitors is a veritable who’s who of drag, including Drag Race icons like Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme, Dragula stars like Biqtch Puddin’ and Merrie Cherry, and legendary drag scene staples like Sherry Vine and the late Heklina.
My biggest question heading into Drag Me to Dinner: How many punny dishes will we be served over the course of the show’s 10 episodes? Will queens like Peaches Christ, Kim Chi, and Jasmine Rice LaBeija cook meals based on their food-centric drag names? Will we see Alaska laboring over a baked Alaska or Meatball whipping up some spaghetti and meatballs? All we’re missing is Victoria “Porkchop” Parker, and we’d have a full spread.
All episodes of Drag Me to Dinner are streaming May 31 on Hulu.

Cook Serve Forever will leap into the early access fire in May
Cook Serve Forever looks a lot like Vertigo Gaming’s previous Cook, Serve, Delicious! series, but it puts a new spin on urgent meal prep and has a whole new story and world. It also now has an early access release date, May 8th, and a development roadmap outlining the journey to 1.0.

Cook Serve Forever demo lets you start meal prep ahead of April’s early access
I am fond of Cook, Serve, Delicious!, a trilogy of cooking games which became increasingly ambitious until the third was about operating a food truck on a post-apocalyptic road trip.
Cook Serve Forever looks more ambitious again. It’s a new game from the same developers with similar combo-tapping food prep at its core, but set in a new solarpunk city. As of today, there’s a demo you can play and an early access release date set for April.
