This Site Will Help You Become A Better Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Engineer
Of all the new abilities introduced in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the crafting options made possible by Fuse and Ultrahand have really captured fans’ attention. Yet for every video of a cool battle mech or Korok torture device, there are just as many players struggling to figure out the engineering that goes into these contraptions.
Enter Zeldabuilds.gg, a site where players can share their favorite builds and get tips from others on how to piece together more intricate contraptions, as picked up by Kotaku. The site currently shows a picture of the build in question, along wih a list of components used to build it.
While there’s space for a description where some users have submitted build tips, most of the submitted builds are still lacking this element. You can also search by a specific component to see all the builds that use it.
Bill Gates Visits Planned Site of ‘Most Advanced Nuclear Facility in the World’
The new plant will employ “between 200 and 250 people,” Gates writes in a blog post, “and those with experience in the coal plant will be able to do many of the jobs — such as operating a turbine and maintaining connections to the power grid — without much retraining.”
It’s called the Natrium plant, and it was designed by TerraPower, a company I started in 2008. When it opens (potentially in 2030), it will be the most advanced nuclear facility in the world, and it will be much safer and produce far less waste than conventional reactors.
All of this matters because the world needs to make a big bet on nuclear. As I wrote in my book How to Avoid a Climate Disaster , we need nuclear power if we’re going to meet the world’s growing need for energy while also eliminating carbon emissions. None of the other clean sources are as reliable, and none of the other reliable sources are as clean…
Another thing that sets TerraPower apart is its digital design process. Using supercomputers, they’ve digitally tested the Natrium design countless times, simulating every imaginable disaster, and it keeps holding up. TerraPower’s sophisticated work has drawn interest from around the globe, including an agreement to collaborate on nuclear power technology in Japan and investments from the South Korean conglomerate SK and the multinational steel company ArcelorMittal…
I’m excited about this project because of what it means for the future. It’s the kind of effort that will help America maintain its energy independence. And it will help our country remain a leader in energy innovation worldwide. The people of Kemmerer are at the forefront of the equitable transition to a clean, safe energy future, and it’s great to be partnering with them.
Gates writes that for safety the plant uses liquid sodium (instead of water) to absorb excess heat, and it even has an energy storage system “to control how much electricity it produces at any given time…”
“I’m convinced that the facility will be a win for the local economy, America’s energy independence, and the fight against climate change.

After Visiting ROSWELL CRASH SITE President Truman Ordered Cover-up
President Harry Truman visited the site of the alleged flying saucer crash in Roswell, New Mexico, to ensure that the incident was covered up from the public.
The following information was forwarded to me:
“Roswell, NM: My uncle (Wayne Schell) was a personal bodyguard to Pres. Harry S. Truman in 1947. They both went to Roswell at the insistence of POTUS Truman in July 1947 after sneaking out of the White House disguised as press. My uncle said they met a Major Easley at the crash site. Major Easley promised the President that nothing from the crash would remain.”
This statement was submitted by William Sells, from Noblesville, Indiana, whose profile says he is a retired “specialist” at the National Security Agency (NSA), said his uncle Wayne Schell had been a personal bodyguard to President Truman and had told him in the 1960s about the secret operation, which involved the use of a “double” of President Truman. Could this be true?
Stated later to the Daily Express:
“The secret service instituted Operation Doppelganger and provided Harry Truman’s double to make sure the press was unaware of Harry’s real location.
“At first I did not believe him (Mr. Schell) until we opened his military footlocker in his bedroom after his death around 1969.
“In there were letters from FDR and Truman along with glossy photos of the Yalta Conference with Churchill, Stalin, and FDR.”

The Rise of DOOM Chronicled on Retro Site for ‘Shareware Heroes’ Book
The book promises to explore “a hidden games publishing market” that for several years “had no powerful giants,” with games instead distributed “across the nascent internet for anyone to enjoy (and, if they liked it enough, pay for).”
And the site features a free excerpt from the chapter about DOOM:
It seemed there was no stopping id Software. Commander Keen had given them their freedom, and Wolfenstein 3D’s mega-success had earned them the financial cushion to do anything. But all they wanted was to beat the last game — to outdo both themselves and everyone else. And at the centre of that drive was a push for ever-better technology. By the time Wolfenstein 3D’s commercial prequel Spear of Destiny hit retail shelves, John Carmack had already built a new engine.
This one had texture-mapped floors and ceilings — not just walls. It supported diminished lighting, which meant things far away could recede into the shadows, disappearing into the distance. And it had variable-height rooms, allowing for elevated platforms where projectile-throwing enemies could hang out, and most exciting of all it allowed for non-orthogonal walls — which meant that rooms could be odd-shaped, with walls jutting out at any arbitrary angle from each other, rather than the traditional rectangular boxed design that had defined first-person-perspective games up until then.
It ran at half the speed of Wolfenstein 3D’s engine, but they were thinking about doing a 3D Keen game next — so that wouldn’t matter. At least not until they saw it in action. Everyone but Tom Hall suddenly got excited about doing another shooter, which meant Carmack would have to optimise the hell out of his engine to restore that sense of speed. Briefly they considered a proposal from 20th Century Fox to do a licensed Aliens shooter, but they didn’t like the idea of giving up their creative independence, so they considered how they could follow up Wolfenstein 3D with something new. Fighting aliens in space is old hat. This time it could be about fighting demons in space. This time it could be called DOOM.
The book’s title is Shareware Heroes: The Renegades Who Redefined Gaming at the Dawn of the Internet — here’s a page listing the people interviewed, as well as the book’s table of contents.
And this chapter culminates with what happened when the first version of DOOM was finally released. “BBSs and FTP servers around America crashed under the immense load of hundreds of thousands of people clamouring to download the game on day one.
“Worse for universities around the country, people were jumping straight into the multiplayer once they had the game — and they kept crashing the university networks…”
