I’m a gardening pro – my favorite way to get rid of ants is organic and smells like orange juice
A GARDENING pro has revealed his juicy secret to keeping the pests away.
His organic method for ant control in the garden uses an orange, leaving a citrusy smell.
Destin (@texasgardenguy) showed off his plants in a video posted to TikTok.
Destin recounted a common occurrence for plant lovers in the hotter months.
“Winter is almost over and you’re getting your plants ready for spring.
“You’re noticing there’s a lot of ants in your pots,” he said.
The Texan shared his solution to the pest problem.
“I’ve got an awesome solution for the ants and it’s organic orange oil,” he revealed.
He shared his methods for utilizing orange oil for pest control.
“So the first method we’re going to use is called a soil drench.
“This is four ounces per gallon. We’re going to shake it up really good and mix it in with that water,” he said.
He made note of the pleasant aroma coming from his gardening hack.
“Kind of looks like orange juice now,” he said. “Smells like orange juice, too.”
He proceeded to pour the mixture all over the pot, watching the ants come out of the pot.
“The other method you can do is putting it in a sprayer,” he said. “It is two ounces per gallon.”
He proceeded to directly spray the plant with the mixture, keeping the critters at bay.

“I’ve been telling people for year’s that parmesan cheese tastes like sick but they never agreed. I have proof now,” someone else said.
Another user added to the fact. They said “butyric acid is also found I American chocolates but not in European.”
Someone else also mentioned that the chemical is in American chocolate saying “that’s why their chocolate tastes rank (esp Hershey).”
The longer the parmesan ages the more butyric acid it will contain, according to the outlet, Dark Cheese.

Free fatty acids are also found in parmesan cheese due to the complexity of the bacteria population that grow inside it.
These chemicals such as Butanoic, hexanoic, and octanoic acids can contribute to the smell of parmesan cheese as well, the outlet reported.
People describe these chemicals as rancid, body sweat, or cheesy smell, according to Dark Cheese.
Another reason that parmesan cheese may smell like vomit is because it contains ammonia, which has a pungent smell that people associate with urine or vomit, the outlet said.
