GTA 5 Sold Another 5 Million Copies Last Quarter, Reaching 195M Lifetime
Grand Theft Auto V is a beast that never stops growing. The open-world sandbox has just reached another milestone in sales. Further solidifying it as one of the best-selling games of all time.
The news comes from a Take-Two earnings report, where it was revealed that GTA 5 has sold another five million copies in the last three months. It has now sold 195 million copies since its release in 2013. Below is a graph courtesy of X/Twitter user @DeekeTweak, showcasing how the game has grown year after year.

That was one of many things to come out of the earnings report. It was also revealed that its other shooter, Red Dead Redemption 2, has sold over 61 million units since its release in 2018. This is especially notable because the game hasn’t received the same level of post-launch support as GTA Online. But it shouldn’t come as a surprise because the game reached multiple new player-count peaks in 2023.

Mini PCs sold on Amazon contained factory-installed spyware
The issue came to light after Jon Freeman from YouTube channel The Net Guy Reviews tested the AceMagic AD08 mini PC and discovered it contained files flagged by Windows Defender as malware. He alleges that other models marketed by AceMagic, including the AD15 and S1, also contain similar malware. All…
Exterminator is what you’d get if Aldi sold their equivalent of Armored Core
Aldi and Lidl are two all time greats of the supermarket genre. I love their legally distinct take on many of the biggest brands, like the “Racer”, which is basically a Snickers bar. Except I actually prefer the Racer! I can’t remember if it’s Aldi or Lidl that do them, but the “Mini Delight” chocolate sticks are also exceptional. Anyway, Armored Core. Or should I say, Exterminator? Yes, there’s an Aldi Armored Core that’s just opened up in town and it’s actually not half bad. It’s definitely not Racer good, but I applaud the effort.

‘Elden Ring’ has sold more than 20 million copies
In little more than a year, Elden Ring has sold approximately 20.5 million copies. That’s according to an investor report spotted by a ResetEra forum user (via Eurogamer). “Repeat sales of existing titles such as Elden Ring were strong, especially overseas, [with] worldwide sales reaching 20.5 million,” Bandai Namco writes in the document. The publisher adds that it expects “a pullback” in repeat sales of the game. However, if Elden Ring can sell a few million more copies, it will land among the best-selling games of all time, a list that includes titles like God of War (2018) and Grand Theft Auto V.
The milestone comes a year after Elden Ring had the best-ever opening for a FromSoftware title. In just 18 days, Bandai Namco sold more than 12 million copies of the action RPG. Pretty good for a game that was expected to sell about 4 million copies in five days. The ongoing strong performance of Elden Ring bodes well for FromSoftware’s next game, Armored Core VI. When it arrives this August, the title will be the first entry in the Armored Core series in nearly a decade.
