Universal Pictures have dropped the first teaser for their Five Nights At Freddy’s film adaptation, based on the hit horror series. Ten years ago, I’d hear schoolmates chatting about the games’ ghosts, purple people, and dismembered heads stuck in animatronics. Now, we’re old enough to buy R-rated cinema tickets, and Hollywood’s ready to capitalise on some teen nostalgia – essentially the film industry’s version of min-maxing. Check out the first teaser here:
A Destiny 2 season 21 teaser confirms a beloved character is likely still alive. If you haven’t watched it yet, you’ll want to check out the new, 9-second Destiny 2 Season of the Deep teaser immediately before we jump into what it means for Bungie’s popular FPS game.

Warner Bros. Discovery casually name-dropped Mortal Kombat 12 earlier in the year, when an earnings call revealed the fighter was “set to release this year, with ambitious launch projections.” The relaxed announcement wasn’t followed by any flashy marketing (outside of a few funny Ed Boon tweets) until now. Developer Netherrealm have been dropping small teasers that potentially point toward a series reboot, or a timeline cleanse, or a return to the series’ past. Hey, the next instalment might not even be named MK12. Watch last night’s very brief teaser below:
It’s no news that Mortal Kombat 12 is reportedly arriving during 2023, given that it was accidentally detailed during a Warner Bros. Discovery call to investors a few months back. Alas, it’s now become clear that it might not be Mortal Kombat 12 that we’re specifically in receipt of.
Source, Bilbil-Kun, who has reliably reported on game store leaks in the past, has reported that the new entry in the series will be called Mortal Kombat 1. The game is expected to be a reboot of the series on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch, but as ever, you know the drill; these leaks should be taken with a pinch of salt until NetherRealm Studios confirms this itself.
That said, NetherRealm Studios shouldn’t be keeping fans waiting for too long, and its latest teaser (embedded above) certainly point towards a reboot. Captioned “It’s almost time,” Mortal Kombat’s teaser, and the clock counting down that it features, has triggered a lot of speculation.
A very brief teaser trailer from Starbreeze Studios and Prime Matter has told us when we can finally see some Payday 3 gameplay.
The total runtime of Payday 3’s latest teaser trailer is 20 seconds, but only about three seconds of that is something that isn’t just text on a screen. Aside from the various logos which take up half the length of the video, it does tell us the most important thing, which is that we can expect to see some gameplay for Payday 3 sometime this summer. “Gameplay. This summer. Don’t miss out,” the trailer plainly tells us, but doesn’t go any more specific than that (thanks, PC Gamer). E3 is dead in the water, so it won’t be appearing there, but there is always the chance that gameplay will show up at one of the many showcases that seem to be increasing in number every summer.
While there’s literally no other information in the trailer itself, over on Steam, the devs have cleared up its intentions just a little bit more about what’s going on. “We’re now 5 months into the Year of PAYDAY 3, with not a lot of info revealed about the game yet,” reads the post. “This has been frustrating for a lot of you, but we promise you the wait will be worth it. Our team has been working very hard on the game, this is still the year of PAYDAY 3 after all, and we’re now almost ready to start lifting the lid and let you all in on how the game is coming along.”
