I can’t believe the designer shoes I found at Goodwill – they retail for hundreds, it’s crazy but I’m not complaining
A THRIFTY shopper knew better than to let a good buy pass her by.
She had certainly snagged the shoe deal she had been dreaming of.
“When you find Golden Goose at Goodwill,” said Han Azim (@styleswithshea).
Amidst crowded racks of shoes, the budget buyer had found the designer deal of her dreams.
The white sneakers featured the brand’s signature star on the side – and sell for hundreds of dollars.
“These are the thrift vibes we need for 2024,” she said.
Similar sneakers from Golden Goose sell for over $500.
Her fans were left dumbfounded over the deal.
“Omg my dream!” said one shocked follower.
“I can’t believe it!” she replied.
“I would just die,” another viewer remarked.
And the savvy shopper’s haul was just getting started.
“I went to Goodwill this morning and here’s everything I found today,” she said in a second video.
First, she held up a blue pair of Year of Ours leggings followed by a crochet top and wide-leg black Zara jeans.
Han continued to show off her steals that included a vintage Bill Blass sweater, Aerie ribbed pants, Free People movement joggers, and an Abercrombie and Fitch bodysuit.
And she wasn’t done just yet with her designer deals.
“This stunning Frame blouse – love this one,” she said.
The red short-sleeved find was having her give thanks to the Goodwill gods.
Next came a purple Athleta tank top, another crochet cardigan, and an LL Bean corduroy button-up shirt.
Holding up a powder blue dress, she couldn’t believe her thrifting luck.
“A new with tags Petal and Pup dress,” she said.
She also picked up a Lulus ribbed midi dress, a never worn Free People knit dress, and a vintage black midi skirt.
Han was ready to keep on saving while looking stylish.
“Amanda Uprichard stunning maxi dress,” she said.
She held up the layered peach colored frock.
Her fans were in disbelief over the finds.
“The Frame blouse!” said one follower.
She reflected on her grand find finale: the Golden Goose sneakers.
“That was a crazy way to end the thrift trip but I am not complaining,” said Han.

I scored the best fashion thrift find – it was 95% off the retail price, people say they would ‘start levitating’
AN AVID thrifter has managed to score 95 percent off a streetwear brand sweat set.
She thrifted the sweatpants and hoodie, originally $195, for a tiny fraction of the price.
Jordan scored the “best thrift find” for just $9[/caption]
Jordan (@jordanccunningham) shared her fashion deal with her TikTok followers.
Although the bargain hunter was used to browsing for steals in consignment and thrift stores, she was still shocked by the deal of a lifetime.
“The BEST thrift find,” she said.
Jordan showed off the $100 Fear of God Essential hoodie that she found at the thrift racks.
A few racks over, she even managed to find the matching $95 sweatpants.
Shocked viewers flooded her comments to ask the price that she paid for the clothing set.
“Omg, how were were these?” asked one viewer.
“$9 total,” Jordan revealed, adding an exploding brain emoji to convey her surprise.
Many of her viewers agreed that she had a great thrift trip.
“The way I would simply ascend,” said one envious viewer.
Others wished for the same luck that she had for their future thrift visits.
“God I see what you have done for others,” joked one commenter.

Now that Counter Strike 2 has custom crafts, CS2 fans are expressing themselves as only they can
Counter Strike 2 has recently gotten an amazing update for those of you out there who love a little bit of customization in their tactical first person shooter. However, while some are innocently slapping stickers on their favourite weapons as Gaben intended, others have gone down a darker path.
This includes spelling out naughty sentences, creating phallic images, and having an all-around raunchy time with it. Such is the eternal truth about video game creativity – if you place the option for folks to make honkin hogs in their video game, they’ll do it.
Some of these are quite rude, so obviously don’t take a look at those if you’ve got kids or your boss is around. There are some lush safe-for-work creations out there too though – like this cool recreation of the M4 Howl. That was made by -Maid on the CS2 Reddit, and if that’s any indication of the creativity folks will apply to custom sticker placement then I’m all for it.

A DIY expert shared his homemade candle holder project using Dollar Tree buys[/caption]
He glued together a glass bowl and glasses to create a simple candle holder[/caption]
Rob (@onthecheaptip) shared the simple DIY with over 200,000 TikTok followers.
The self-proclaimed “Dollar Tree MacGyver” explained that he needed a centerpiece for his coffee table.
He headed off to the Dollar Tree to pick up supplies for his project — two glass bowls, a tall glass and a small glass.
“I started by turning the glasses over and applying industrial glue to the bottom and placing the bowls onto the glue,” he said.
“Once the glue was set, I added Dollar Tree river rocks and pillar candles to create this. Chic glass candle holders that were simple to make yet make a big impact on any table.”
He added that with the glass bowls, real candles were safe to use as well as LED candles.
Rob added that the DIY was perfect for events and was an easy cost-effective way to jazz up special moments.
“This is a great idea for wedding or party centerpieces,” he said.
The decorations, he explained, could be swapped out to match whatever occasion you need it for.
“I’m putting together a Valentine’s Day-themed engagement party for my daughter and this will be perfect with pinks and reds and white,” said one commenter.
“You can also add heart confetti or glitter to the glass!” Rob suggested.
“Cute idea! And love love that table!” said another commenter.
‘I’ve never seen them this cheap’ shoppers shout as they buy 60p mould-fighting gadget with banishes condensation
SHOPPERS are rushing to buy a 60p mould-fighting gadget which banishes condensation – and they’ve “never seen them this cheap”.
Mould is something many households dread when winter comes around, but it doesn’t have to cost a fortune to get rid of.
Problems with condensation and mould is something households dread in winter[/caption]
A 60p dehumidifier battles moisture and condensation and prevents mould[/caption]
Mould is a type of fungi that live on animal or plant matter, including building materials like wood and plasterboard, and furnishings like curtains, carpets and boxes.
It plays a major role in the ecosystem of the earth – but it can be dangerous inside the home.
Typically mould is caused by humidity, condensation. or poor ventilation.
Rising damp is also a reason your walls and ceilings could be mouldy.
Rising damp could indicate a serious problem with the internal walls as a pipe behind the walls or under your bath may have burst.
Luckily, there are a plethora of solutions to the mould problem – and some of them are quite affordable.
As mould is caused by condensation, the best way to tackle it is to prevent dampness.
Interior dehumidifiers can draw in any moisture and stop condensation.
And a pack of 18 is available for £11.97 online – working out at 60p each – which will last you a long time.
Each one can absorb up to three times its own weight in water, and it can be placed anywhere in the house where you need to be rid of dampness.
Shoppers are saying “this stuff is amazing” and are impressed with the “bargain price”.
One person wrote: “I will be working on a more permanent solution but in the mean time these will help reduce issues.”
Living with mould in your home can affect your physical and mental health.
According to research by Envirodent, damp caused by condensation is on the rise, affecting 1 in 5 homes in the UK.
Mould can be harmful for vulnerable groups including the elderly, infants and children and those with pre-existing health conditions.
Mould impacts your immune system and can cause respiratory problems.
The spores produce allergens that can cause sneezing, a runny nose, skin rashes and even asthma attacks.
How to get rid of mould
The best way to tackle mould is to prevent it. To do that, you need to stop condensation and moisture from building up in the house:
- Open your windows
While opening windows in the cold months may be the last thing you want to do, you don’t have to do it often.
Let stale air out and fresh, but cold, air in during morning and before you go to bed.
- Make sure your extractor fans are working
These are the fans you find in kitchens and bathrooms, and they help remove excess steam from the air and therefore prevent a build-up of condensation.
- Get a dehumidifier
Although dehumidifiers themselves use energy to work, they are a great help in removing vast amounts of condensation in a relatively short period.
Most good dehumidifiers are automatic, meaning that they will turn on and off when desired humidity levels are reached.
If mould is already there, here’s how to get rid of it:
- Hydrogen Peroxide
Pour three per cent strength hydrogen peroxide into a bottle and spray it on the affected area, wait ten minutes, and then scrub the mould away
- White Vinegar
Spray some vinegar on the surface and leave it for at least an hour, scrub with a brush, then wipe with a damp cloth. Never mix with bleach as it’s dangerous.
- Baking Soda
Dissolve baking soda in water, and spray it on the mould. Scrub with a brush, remove excess with damp clothes and leave to dry.
- Bleach
If using bleach, mix four parts of water with one part of bleach.
Apply your solution to the affected areas, scrub it firmly, wait as long as possible, and rinse the treated areas thoroughly, let it dry.
Dominic Lees-Bell, a bathroom expert from Drench, said investing in window insulation film could be the answer to the mould problem.
Cleaning expert, Laura Harnett, has revealed a £1 buy which can banish mould from your house.
A Tiktoker Carly is thrilled with the results of a cheap gadget she hails as a “game changer” in preventing mould from growing in the home.
A video of the creator testing the “absolutely amazing” £1.60 product has gone viral on social media.
Meanwhile, homeowners need to be aware of a common mould mistake which could cost them £1,000.
What are LLMs, and how are they used in generative AI?
When ChatGPT arrived in November 2022, it made mainstream the idea that generative artificial intelligence (AI) could be used by companies and consumers to automate tasks, help with creative ideas, and even code software.
If you need to boil down an email or chat thread into a concise summary, a chatbot such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT or Google’s Bard can do that. If you need to spruce up your resume with more eloquent language and impressive bullet points, AI can help. Want some ideas for a new marketing or ad campaign? Generative AI to the rescue.
Tottenham finally have a fully-fit first XI – so can they now mount an unlikely Premier League title challenge?
ANGE POSTECOGLOU finally has all his big-hitters available this weekend for the first time since taking over.
Now he will be looking to prove the doubters wrong and show Tottenham are genuinely in the title race.
Son Heung-min (left) is set to return against Brighton on Saturday[/caption]
Straight-talking Postecoglou claimed back in mid-January that it was possible his Spurs side could win the league this year.
The 58-year-old said: “Yes, we are (in a title race) and I’ve said all along that until the point where you’re not, why would you discount the possibility?”
At that point they were six points off table-topping Liverpool. A little under a month on, that gap has extended to seven.
Most pundits and fans cannot envisage the North Londoners winning their first-ever Premier League crown come the end of the season.
Indeed, a supercomputer over at number-crunchers Opta calculated on Tuesday that fifth-placed Spurs have less than a 0.1 per cent chance of finishing top of the pile.
But given how dominant his side were from August to October, when they were first after an unbeaten opening ten games, Postecoglou will certainly not be throwing in the towel.
The only key player they were missing during those initial three months was classy midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur who was still recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained in February.
Though September’s blow when Ivan Perisic suffered a complex ACL issue of his own was keenly felt too, even if the veteran winger was largely used as an impact sub.

Then all hell broke loose on November 6 with that unforgettable 4-1 home defeat to rivals Chelsea, when they had two players sent off as well as losing star men Micky van de Ven and James Maddison to serious hamstring injuries.
Further injuries and suspensions followed, while Son Heung-min, Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma all headed off on international duty to the Asia Cup and Africa Cup of Nations respectively.
Yet, slowly but surely, Postecoglou has got all his main men back.
And for the first time in his tenure, he should be able to pick his strongest XI at home to Brighton on Saturday.
That is providing ex-Seagulls star Bissouma is fit after a reported bout of malaria while with Mali and that Son is ready after South Korea’s shock exit to Jordan on Tuesday. The 31-year-old is due back in Tottenham training on Thursday.
Should that pair be fit and available, Postecoglou could go with what may well be his preferred team of: Guglielmo Vicario; Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Van de Ven, Destiny Udogie; Bissouma, Bentancur, Maddison; Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison, Son.
The competition for places would be decent too with Timo Werner, Sarr and Brennan Johnson all making strong cases to start as well.
Postecoglou has always been confident of having a stronger second half to the season than the first, believing his team would have wised up to his methods by then.
Should that come to pass, then it is not beyond the realms of possibility that they are in the mix come the end of campaign – no matter what the Opta AI suggests.
They have some serious ground to make up but they have three winnable home games up next (curiously, all at 3pm on a Saturday) in Brighton this week, then Wolves, then Crystal Palace.
Is this Postecoglou’s best side?
RODRIGO BENTANCUR is one of many Spurs stars Ange Postecoglou has been unable to call upon every week this season due to injury.
But the Uruguayan is fully fit now and Postecoglou finally has all his main stars back, giving him the chance to pick his best XI.
SunSport predicts that to be:
Vicario;
Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie;
Bissouma, Bentancur, Maddison;
Kulusevski, Richarlison, Son.
Then follows a tough trip to Aston Villa, currently two points above them in the table, and they would likely have to win that to stay in contention.
The ultra test, though, comes in the back end of April going into early May.
They host Manchester City, then Arsenal and then go to Liverpool.
It is a frightening trio of fixtures but Postecoglou has managed to eradicate the fear from this team during his short time in charge.
And, remember, he has not lost to any of those sides in the league this term, either.
It is a long shot, of course it is.
Then again, Postecoglou is at the peak of his powers now from a selection perspective, which is something we have never seen before.
That’s poetry gold,’ people say as they mock bizarre romantic tattoo – the Blink 182 reference isn’t the weirdest part
A BIZARRE romantic tattoo has come in for a lot of stick.
It’s been roundly mocked by users on a public Facebook page.
There were a few who could see the beauty in it.
But for most, it was just too baffling.
“It’s poetry gold,” said one ink art fan.
The Blink 182 reference wasn’t the weirdest part.
The poem appeared on the ‘I’m not tattoo-shaming, but I’m tattoo-sorry you gotta deal with that’ Facebook page.
“Rose are red, violets are blue, Garlic bread, Blink 182,” was the extent of this creative output.
There was no doubt the inspiration for this rhyming couplet came from many quarters.
There was a smattering of traditional poetry, 20th-century American rock, and, most strangely, garlic bread.
The opening line either contained a typo or was loaded with meaning.
The second line passed without muster.
Blink-182 is an American rock band. Originally just Blink, they added the ‘182’ to distinguish them from another similarly named band.
The numbers refer to the number of times Al Pacino’s character in Scarface said the word f**k.
The last line, however, has had commenters perplexed.
Could it be a reference to poetry being considered the food of love?
Or simply an appetite for the delicious garlicky bread.
Commenters enjoyed the show and shared their views.
“No need to shame here. This is perfect,” said one person.
Another said it was “poetry gold.”
“Tattoo inspiration,” said one user.
“Best quote of all time, wrote another.
But this person put a great deal of though into their theory.
“I like to think it’s saying ‘the red rose’ in and older-English grammatical structure.
“As if there’s some terrifying entity or demon hoard called ‘the red’ that awakes every 100,000 years to cause havoc.
“The only way to appease it is to give it garlic bread and play Blink 182.”
