Eurovision fans furious after tickets go on sale for live final and host Rylan Clark slams ‘ridiculous prices’
EUROVISION fans were furious after tickets to the final appeared on resale sites — some for almost one hundred times their face value.
Tickets were priced at £80 to £380 for the big event on May 13.
They were being sold on for just under £10,000.
Song contest co-host Rylan Clark, 34, branded cash-hungry touts “p****s” as prices rocketed online.
Demand was so high for tickets to live shows and rehearsals that website Ticketmaster crashed within seconds of the sale starting yesterday.
Many fans couldn’t even join the digital queue.
Ticketmaster limited each order to four tickets to try to stop touts.
The BBC later said all the shows and previews at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena were sold out.
It said those who missed out on tickets can still enjoy spin-off activities held across the city.
