Season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 arrived on February 15, adding the brand-new Ashika Island Resurgence map. In addition to being a fresh location for battle royale, Ashika Island also introduces a new lootable token that can be collected. Here we’ll guide you through how to locate and use this new currency.
Ashika Island introduces Sea Treasure Tokens as a new lootable item in Warzone 2. Sea Treasure Tokens are exclusive to the island map, so you won’t find these on Al Mazrah. These new tokens can be found in every type of crate on the island and looted from dead players, but they’re most abundant in the blue Resurgence crates.
You may have stumbled across several Warzone 2 Sea Treasure Tokens – or Sea Treasures Tokens, as they’re known in-game – in your time on Ashika Island, but what are they? They can’t be used at buy stations and aren’t usable in your hands, so picking them up with no knowledge of what they’re for is just taking up valuable inventory space.
Thankfully, we know precisely what Warzone 2 Sea Treasure Tokens are, and what they’re used for. Getting a victory on Ashika Island Resurgence is about setting a high pace early, pushing teams, and getting the wipe – putting together an aggressive Warzone 2 loadout is key in the free PC game, and you’ll want to complement your build with some of the prizes you’ll get from using Sea Treasure Tokens at designated machines.

Every developer knows that it’s a bad idea to hardcode security credentials into source code. Yet it happens and when it does, the consequences can be dire. Until now, GitHub only made its secret scanning service available to paying enterprise users who paid for GitHub Advanced Security, but starting Thursday, the Microsoft-owned company is making its secrets scanning service available for all public GitHub repos for free.
In 2022 alone, the company notified partners in its secret scanning partner program of more than 1.7 million potential secrets that were exposed in public repositories. The service scans repositories for over 200 known token formats and then alerts partners of potential leaks — and you can define your own regex patterns, too…. However, the rollout of the service will be gradual and it will not be available to all users until the end of January 2023.
TechCrunch also notes there’s alternatives (including open source GitLeaks).

I was dismissive of my first few games of Marvel Snap, intrigued by the next few, then hooked within ten. Second Dinner’s lightning-fast CCG manages to pack a surprising amount of nuance and strategy within six turns, while cleverly leaning on that brevity to play around with ideas that wouldn’t work elsewhere. It’s neat! And free! You should try it.
All the more so, now that the latest update has added Collector Tokens that let you buy specific cards rather than leaving you solely at the mercy of booster packs. There are also 16 new cards, nerfs to some old ones, and a smattering of other improvements.
Over the weekend, we learned that Modern Warfare 2 developer Infinity Ward, and publisher Activision, were made aware of some issues players had with the Vault Edition of the game. Because players that purchased the $100 version of the game were given the same unlock in-game as players with other versions of the title, Activision promised to give anyone with the premium version of the game a set of bonuses.
“We understand there has been some confusion about an in-game-store exclusive award for the Vault Edition,” the statement from the official Call of Duty account reads. “Therefore, we’ve decided to reward all players that currently own or purchase any version of the MWII Vault Edition with 10 hours of double XP tokens and 10 hours of double weapon XP tokens.”
If you didn’t have these tokens in your account at the time of writing, you should now. But the thing is, as it stands… these tokens are pretty useless, poorly implemented, and just seem to be a complete waste of time.
