Humanity’s release date trailer references a golden age of video game TV adverts
Humanity is a puzzle game about controlling a glowing Shiba Inu who can drop instructions for a streaming crowd of human beings to follow. It’s a concept reminscent of Lemmings, but wrapped in a style that evokes the self-assuredly video gamey early PlayStation era. That’s what its latest trailer does, too, while also announcing a May 16th release date.
The final ‘Fast X’ trailer is full of fights, family, and fan favourites
The second official trailer for Fast X has arrived, giving us an action-packed glimpse of the Fast & Furious family’s penultimate ride.
The tenth main film in the franchise, Fast X follows street racer/criminal/devoted family man Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) as his past catches up with him once again. This time that past comes in the intimidatingly large form of Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa), the son of defeated Fast Five antagonist Hernan Reyes. And of course, he’s out for revenge.
Aside from the inevitable races, explosions, and increasingly outsized stunts, the Fast X trailer also offers glimpse at a ton of fun moments for fans. These include the team’s only non-driver Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel) behind the wheel of a very large truck, Dom’s brother and former enemy Jakob (John Cena) being a fun uncle, and the long-awaited confrontation between resurrected fan favourite Han (Sung Kang) and his reformed murderer Shaw (Jason Statham).
Fast X races into theatres on May 19.

Jason Momoa obliterates the Vatican in the second trailer for Fast X
The Fast and Furious franchise is all about family, but it is also about enormous action set pieces that even make Tom Cruise say “neat,” and in the second trailer for Fast X, the 10th — 10th! — installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, Jason Momoa appears to blow up the Vatican.
I don’t want to spoil things. It’s a trailer lasting two minutes and 36 seconds, and you should watch it yourself! But it’s a very wild method of exploding that I had not thought possible in a live-action film.
And I really hope this isn’t one of those instances where the best bits are in the trailer because this trailer has left me so unreasonably hyped for Fast X that I’m going to need some truly outlandish stunts to top Jason Momoa blowing up the…
Fast X Trailer Signals The Beginning Of The End Of The Fast Saga
Dante Reyes has been plotting his revenge against Dom Toretto for over a decade, and the time is nearly here for him to execute it. The latest trailer for Fast X is here with just a month until the movie hits theaters.
It has everything you want: standoffs, fist fights, driving down the side of a dam, and bombs that make Fast X look like a Rocket League ad. In other words, there’s a lot going on here. Dante rolls out a bomb in Vatican City and relishes the explosion, and then he corners Dom over a dam between two semi trucks, sending him racing down the sloped wall.
Not only are allies like Letty, Han and Roman back, but ex-villains Shaw and Jakob Toretto are on the side of family this time. There’s a quick shot of newcomer Brie Larson cracking skulls and buying drinks. Meanwhile, Charlize Theron’s Cipher has seemingly teamed up with Dante, and she’s throwing fists against Letty.
A New Fast X Trailer Has Death Star Pinball and Cannon Cars
Okay, we know. That’s not actually a Death Star in the latest trailer for Fast X. It’s a bomb that sort of looks like a Death Star. But as we watched it bounce around the streets of Rome, as Vin Diesel bats it around making his car into a pinball flapper, only to have it explode as Jason Momoa basks in the fallout, we…

‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ first season 2 trailer promises Klingons and Kirk
Star Trek: Picard heads out to pasture when the series finale airs this week. We live in an age of shared universes, however, so another Trek is coming quicker than you can say raktajino (Klingon coffee). The second season of the well-reviewedStar Trek: Strange New Worlds premieres on June 15th, and Paramount+ has finally dropped a real trailer.
We’ve known the premiere date for a while, but there was no trailer until now, which is an odd choice considering the show starts in less than two months. Still, the footage gives a fairly in-depth look at what the Enterprise will be up to in June, and there is a lot for fans to get excited about. Eagle-eyed viewers will notice the return of regular-looking Klingons, so it looks like the vaguely off-putting redesign featured in Star Trek: Discovery is over and done with.
There is also plenty of Captain Kirk, as played by newcomer Paul Wesley. Kirk appeared twice during the first season and was heavily involved in the season finale. Remember, Strange New Worlds is a prequel that chronicles the adventures of the Enterprise before Captain Kirk, so this is a younger version of the character.
The show also features younger versions of other legacy characters like Spock and Uhura, along with minor characters from the original 1960s Star Trek, such as Nurse Chapel and Dr. M’benga. Strange New Worlds strives to captures the feel of older Trek shows, with a return to the episodic formula that made the franchise such a hit in the first place.
This has been a big couple of weeks for Trek-related announcements. Yesterday saw the official announcement of a Michelle Yeoh-led movie and last month Paramount+ revealed a forthcoming show set at Starfleet Academy. Strange New Worlds has also already been renewed for a third season. In other words, the franchise is, uh, prospering.
