It’s not known what Usman’s role in the eagerly-anticipated sequel will be – although it’s most likely to be a cameo.
Usman, 35, is currently gearing up to make the sixth defence of his welterweight title later this month.
Brit Leon Edwards will bid to dethrone the pound-for-pound king at UFC 278 in a rematch seven years in the making.
Birmingham bruiser Edwards hasn’t lost defeat since that clash, winning nine of his last ten octagon outings.
His improvements have impressed Usman, who recently said: “Leon is much sharper with his striking.
“He has excellent striking. I mean, let’s just be honest.
“We saw it in the fight with Nate Diaz. He tortured him for four-and-a-half rounds.
“And then Nate Diaz did what Nate Diaz does best, come in there and land that shot and steal all the glory.

“You forgot Leon Edwards won that fight, right? So I think Leon is much improved.
“His grappling is much improved, his wrestling is much improved, but I’m also much improved.”

Jorge Mendes is looking for a club to sign Ronaldo[/caption]
He later returned to training before playing his first minutes of pre-season against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
But with the season set to kick off at the weekend Ronaldo’s future is still up in the air.
Several clubs have been linked with a move for the superstar and Mendes is still on the lookout for a potential suitor, according to the Daily Mail.
The agent will reportedly do “everything he can” to push through a move with Ronaldo desperate to play Champions League football.

SunSport exclusively revealed last week that agent Jorge Mendes has a deal in place if the Red Devils give him a figure to trigger a move.
United remain insistent that Ronaldo is not for sale with the Portuguese contracted to the club until 2023.
Ronaldo appeared a little despondent against Rayo Vallecano and showed signs of frustration, including shrugging while Erik ten Hag seemed to be dishing out tactical instructions.
He also missed a sitter when he lashed a left-footed strike high and wide over the bar.

We’re furious after council shut down our charity event because THREE neighbours complained – it’s ridiculous
ENRAGED residents have slammed a “mind-boggling” council decision to shut down a charity event after just three neighbours complained.
The tiny handful of locals kicked up a fuss about the potential noise from the pub hosting the fundraiser so the local authority all but called it off completely.

Maxine Demetriou, manager of The West Town Inn on Hayling Island, Hampshire, was issued with a letter following protests over a concert held there last summer.
Three people moaned about the live band performing in the beer garden as part of the bash.
The 58-year-old said she was this year warned about the sound levels and ordered to set up a “noise management plan” – including using a decibel meter to measure the music volume.
However, Havant Borough Council said this “fell short of what is required” and landlady Maxine was forced to cancel the gig, scheduled for last week and due to raise money for the local community.

Livid neighbours and pubgoers have since brushed off the “storm in a tea cup” complaints, insisting they have no issue with the “noise”.
Captain Barry Swindells, who lives directly opposite, said he’s lived there for 25 years and “had no problems”.
The 91-year-old, a former merchant mariner, added: “Nobody over here’s even mentioned it.
“They’ll be complaining about my television next because I have to turn it up loud as I can’t hear well.

“I’m sure it’s just newcomers trying to change everything.
“I’ve got an old banjo upstairs which makes a hell of a racket – that would force them out.”
Barry’s neighbour George Wilson, who has called the island home all his life, described the decision as “mind-boggling”.
“I just can’t get my head around it,” he said.
“It’s mind boggling – the neighbours who complained have bought a house next door to a builders’ merchants and yet they’re complaining about a bit of music from the pub.
“They’ve even been complaining about people laughing in the garden.”
The 29-year-old groundworker added: “Why don’t they just have fun and watch the drunk people?”
I just can’t get my head around it.

Debbie Drinkwater, 63 and her mum, Gwyneth White, 84, have been visiting their local pub for years and “love the music”.
“We come here every week and whenever there’s live music,” Debbie, a health and social care worker, said.
“It’s a real shame they had to cancel.”
And Lolly Gresty, 52, a sign painter from Eastleigh, asked: “Why are people bloody moaning for no reason?
“It’s not like the noise just sprung up one day.
“I like a bit of human sound after being shut in a box during the pandemic.
“Pubs have been hit so badly and we need to support them.
“Is it really the end of the world if there’s a bit of music?”
‘MIND-BOGGLING’
Hi-Fest was a free music festival held across seven different venues on Hayling Island.
More than 70 artists were due to perform, all in aid of the local community.
Havant Borough Council said that licensed pubs have a duty to control excess noise to avoid public nuisance.
A spokesperson added: “As regards The West Town Inn, complaints of excessive noise were received last summer.
“Council officers heard the noise for themselves when they inspected the premises at around that time.

“It was agreed with the individual responsible for the running of the pub that she would provide the council with a noise management plan.
“Unfortunately the plan received fell short of what is required, and the council has therefore asked for the revised version to be supplied.”

Are crocodiles dinosaurs?
DINOSAURS lived on Earth about 66 million years ago before they became extinct for a reason which is yet to be discovered.
You might be wondering whether there are animals that descended from dinosaurs, such as crocodiles, and here we answer questions which you might have.
Are crocodiles dinosaurs?
Even though they have a similar appearance, no, crocodiles are not dinosaurs but they do come from the same crown group called Archosaurs.
Archosaurs are reptiles such as birds, crocodiles, pterosaurs and dinosaurs.
The only other archosaurs besides crocodiles that survived throughout the years are birds.
Crocodiles are the evolution of reptiles which grew up to be dinosaurs.

Crocodiles come from the same animal group as dinosaurs[/caption]
They share some characteristics such as being cold-blooded and having a large body with thick rubbery skin.
They both also have sharp teeth and can lay eggs.

How old are crocodiles?
Crocodiles are about 85 million years old, dating back to the Triassic period.
They make part of a group of animals called crocodylomorphs which lived about 205 million years ago with dinosaurs.
Which animals descend from dinosaurs?
Crocodiles are not the only animals that come from dinosaurs.
Cassowaries, ostriches and chickens
The third largest bird species, cassowaries, are also descendants of dinosaurs and they can be found in northern Australia, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia.

Besides its big structure and giant claw-like feet, one of the characteristics that makes it similar to a dinosaur is its leathery crest on the head.
This may come as a surprise but chickens are related to dinosaurs.
It was revealed how a T-rex shares fundamental molecular structures that are in common with chickens.
The same goes for ostriches.
These three animals share a molecule called protein collagen that takes form in different animals, but the one that compares mostly to that found in the T-rex is that of chickens and ostriches.
The discovery was made by Jack Horner and Mary Schweitzer in 2003 when they were trying to extract a fossilised T-rex femur and had to break the bone in half to do so.
Tuataras and lizards
Tuatara is another animal, from a reptile group called Rhynchocephalia, that originates from dinosaurs.
They live off the coast of New Zealand and eat beetles, spiders and snails and occasionally small birds which they can chew up with their teeth that look like a saw.
It lives in very low temperatures and can have a life span of up to 100 years.
The other reptiles are lizards, which evolved millions of years ago sharing several characteristics with dinosaurs.
Sharks and sea turtles
The marine beasts are thought to have evolved over 450 million years ago during the Silurian period.
They’ve survived through every major extinction and are one of the most diverse species out there.

On the other hand, sea turtles – which adapted to leave both on the ground and in seawater – share a common ancestory with dinosaurs.
After the catastrophe that wiped out dinosaurs, turtles started evolving differently, and that is how the hard shells were eventually created.
I’m a spiritual coach – how the current Lion’s Gate will affect you & why it could spell the end for your relationship
THE Lion’s Gate portal opens once a year, and we’re right in the middle of it now.
Spiritual coach Samantha Jayne told The US Sun how it will affect all of us, and why this week could spell the end of your relationship.

The Lion’s Gate runs from July 26 to August 8, peaking on the final day, and this is what you need to know…
Every year, on July 26, the Lion’s Gate portal is created between the Earth and Sirius, the brightest star in the sky.
The journey through Leo begins. See this as a new beginning, a fresh start.
A journey that is about self-love, being heart centred and self-empowerment.
Read more on the stars
A time when we are being asked to connect to our souls, our heart energy, and our path of purpose.
Light codes are sent to Earth to activate our energy, DNA and connect us to our highest path, our highest possible potential for the next 12 months.
This year the Lion’s Gate coincides with the Leo New Moon, so this is set to be a powerful one as always.
Whilst Leo is all about self love and having courage, it can be felt at the more negative end of the spectrum.

BE WARNED
If you are someone who is struggling with insecurities, then you may find yourself feeling like you are not good enough and experience imposter syndrome.
If your current partner just isn’t cutting it when it comes to your future vision for your life, and there is no connection at a deep soul level, then you could find yourself in some uncomfortable conversations with choices to be made.
And if you have an important meeting, be mindful of how you communicate.
Watch for coming across as boastful of your achievements as this may be seen as being arrogant rather than confident during this time.
LISTEN IN
On the brighter side, Lion’s Gate is a great time to meditate.
It is believed every one of us is here to serve purpose, to be part of the bigger mission, something they call ascension.
It is simply that some are doing it consciously whilst others are unconscious. Will you choose to do it consciously?
Over the next 12 months, we are being asked to listen to our souls, walk through a transformation and be ourselves despite the challenges and external pressures to conform and fit in we may experience.
This energy reaches its peak on the August 8 and then ends on August 12, giving us approximately a three-week window to use these energies to power us up, but how do we do that?
Firstly, this is a great time to carry round that notebook or journal and pen as you may find yourself getting new thoughts and ideas about how you want your life or your business to be.
![](https://www.the-sun.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2022/08/NINTCHDBPICT000750942062.jpg?strip=all&w=960)
This period is a good time to meditate and journal[/caption]
We don’t always get our ‘signs’ in meditation, or in our dreams. We often get them out and about in our daily life.
Many have flashes of images, seeing themselves in new roles or working in new ways that not only make their soul feel happy and healthy but their bank balance too.
Know that for some this can be an uncomfortable journey as there is a lot of healing needed to let go of past trauma and emotional events that are blocking your path.
You may find yourself having lightbulb moments that change almost instantly the way you look at things or flashbacks to the events that have caused you to feel insecure in the past.
HOW TO ACT
The Leo energy is coming in to give you strength and courage to let go of your ‘demons’, thoughts and beliefs that have been holding you back for some time now.
Booking yourself in for a healing or a massage might be just what you need.
If you have a business idea that you keep being drawn back to, no matter how small, this can be a great time to start it.
Especially if it centres around helping others. Don’t get distracted by what other people are doing. This could take you off path.
If you have an existing business, then you could get an opportunity or a new idea on how to serve others in a new way.
No matter how small you may feel your work is, know you are part of the big plan and are making a difference in the world.
Those who have psychic abilities or healing abilities can see these gifts getting stronger now.
Maybe you don’t class yourself as psychic, if that is you, then pay attention to your intuition as it can be much stronger during this time.
Spend time meditating, I recommend a heart chakra healing meditation, to release anything that is blocking you from who you are and the life you are living.
The Lion’s Gate opens up the third eye to help you to receive the visions, so you might want to do a third eye meditation too or sign up for a psychic development course.
With so much energy floating about, make sure you are spending time outdoors in nature, to help you stay grounded.
If you are really struggling, then wearing a labradorite crystal pendant or taking a salt bath could help.
When you go to bed, have that notebook and pen on your bedside table and pay attention to your dreams.
It is believed we receive lots more visitations during this time from loved ones, guides and angels.
Remember to write down the details of the dreams as it could be symbolism and messages to help you on your path.
TECH IT OUT
You may also want to take a break from social media and technology.
You are already experiencing energy overload without adding that tech energy to you.
Plus if you are empathic, think of all the energy you could be absorbing from others through social media during this transit.
This is a great time to be creative.
Whether it’s writing, music, baking, painting, drawing, writing, sculpting or building a website for that new business, this is a great time for creative energies to flow.

Pay attention to how you feel and stay away from people and places you find draining.
And finally, drink lots of water. You’ll need it.
Man Utd outcast Alex Telles ‘may leave before end of transfer window with Sevilla among trio of clubs interested’
ALEX TELLES’ frustrating two years at Manchester United might be about to come to an end.
The skillful Brazil left-back arrived at Old Trafford in 2020 after a very impressive four-year spell with Porto.

Alex Telles has struggled to settle in the Prem since joining Manchester United in 2020[/caption]
But the £16million star failed to make his mark under former Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or interim gaffer Ralf Rangnick.
And the 29-year-old also looks surplus to requirements under new manager Erik ten Hag as the Dutchman bids to rebuild the faltering Prem giants.
Telles was linked in May with a return to Porto, where he is regarded as a club icon after four fabulous seasons in the Primeira Liga.
The defender scored 26 goals in 195 games for the Portuguese giants, won two titles, and broke into Brazil’s national side.
