I’m curvy – people say bikini pics are ‘inappropriate and thirsty’ but I see no reason I can’t dress like everyone else
ONE curvy woman has shared that people say she can’t post bikini pics as they’re seen as “inappropriate and thirsty.”
She doesn’t understand this sentiment though and feels that she should be able to dress like everyone else and that her body shouldn’t be sexualized.
Lauren (@lululaureen__) is into beauty, fashion, and entertainment.
Over on her TikTok account, she decided to do a little skit to discuss a topic that some of her followers could relate to.
“I can’t post a bikini pic like that, I’m curvy so it looks inappropriate/thirsty,” Lauren said to the other person in the skit.
“Who told you that?” the person questioned looking quite confused.
Speechless, Lauren took a second to ponder the inquiry.
In her caption, she made sure to emphasize her confusion about not being able to innocently post what she wants to her socials.
“I literally be posing the same as everybody else, why you sexualizing me?” she wrote in her caption.
She had a stream of viewers that agreed with her point.
“LITERALLY??” one wrote.
“Yesssss,” said a second.
“Exactly,” added a third.
“This one,” said a fourth.
Another person was encouraging Lauren to post whatever type of picture she pleases.
“POST THAT PIC,” they wrote.
And a final person had an answer as to who made curvy women feel that they couldn’t post bikini pictures.
“Church.. church told me that and my mum and my aunt and my ex,” she wrote.

Inside tragic story of dad-of-12 lottery winner who scooped £3.1million – but was hit by secret heartbreak
THIS is the tragic story of a dad-of-12 lotto winner who scooped £3.1million but was hit by a secret heartbreak.
Bernie Finn won the whopping jackpot in November 1998, but all the money in the world couldn’t ease his grief.

But the beer-loving ex-trawlerman was hit by a secret tragedy[/caption]
The beer-loving ex-trawlerman was devastated by the loss of his baby son, 10-week-old Bernard, to cot death in 1994.
This was compounded by the death of his brother George, 28, due to a drug overdose three years later.
However, his winnings did allow him to try and put all that behind him.
After bagging the lucky ticket he packed in his job as an oil refinery worker and pledged to donate heavily to a cot death charity and the baby care unit at his local hospital in Grimsby, Lincolnshire.
His youngest child, Lizzie, spent three months on the ward after being born weighing just two pounds.
At the time, Bernie said: “I’ve had my fair share of bad luck in the past – but now I want to think about the future.
“I’m not going to spend, spend, spend. But I’ll be doing a fair bit of drinking.
“I sup lager and there has been talk of a bender of two.”
He added that he’d enjoy a drink with best mate Brian Hewson and would be “looking after him as well”.
Despite the mega prize, Bernie didn’t predict a significant lifestyle change.
Even though he claimed never to have had a holiday in his life, a trip abroad wasn’t on the cards, and neither was a flashy car.
He joked: “I’ve got a driving licence but I don’t care much for driving – maybe we’ll hitchhike to Butlins.”
However, Bernie seemingly changed his mind in later years, as he announced plans to move his family to Queensland, Australia.
He used his lotto winnings and money made from investments in the limo business to relocate.
At the time, he explained: “What you realise is what is important and that is your family and your kids.
“My kids won’t have the upbringing I had and my mum, Primrose, will want for nothing.
“I am sure they have crime in Australia, but it is nothing like Grimsby.”

Superdry, which has 104 shops in the UK and 198 in the rest of the world, said it was looking at an “estate optimisation” and other options to cut costs by £35million.
To shore up the balance sheet it said it could also sell a 20 per cent stake in the business to raise funds.
Shares tanked by 18 per cent yesterday, valuing the business at £72million.
Julian Dunkerton, the Superdry founder who masterminded a boardroom coup to return as CEO, said: “We need to ensure our business is in the right shape to navigate these difficult times.”
Dr Martens joined the gloom by issuing its third profit warning in just five months on the back of huge warehouse costs.
However the boot brand insisted there was strong demand for its shoes, with recent UK sales up 10 per cent.
And AO World enjoyed a third profit upgrade yesterday after saying its cost cutting had paid off and a consumer slowdown had not happened “to the extent envisaged”.
Sterling rise
