HUNDREDS of Met cops and staff are alleged to have been ripped off for £450,000 in a theatre and concert tickets scam.
The scale of the losses emerged after a sergeant on the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection command was arrested on suspicion of fraud.

The officer ran the social club fund but is alleged to have used it to feed a betting addiction.
Around 400 say they paid for cheap tickets through the club which did not materialise and they were not reimbursed.
The cop, based in central London, was freed under investigation.

The Met Police said: “An officer attached to the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command (PaDP) was arrested on Wednesday, 27 July on suspicion of fraud.
“He has since been released under investigation.
“He is on restricted duties.

A source said: “The total outstanding losses identified so far amount to £450,000. It’s a huge sum of money.
