There are some who drink their coffee black, and there are some for whom a frothy latte or cappuccino is the ultimate morning beverage. If you fall in the latter camp, you’ll be thrilled about this deal on Nespresso’s Lattissima machine, which is now on sale at Amazon for a whopping 42% off. Unlike smaller Nespresso machines like the Pixie and Vertuo, the Nespresso Lattissima comes with an included milk frother, which makes it ideal for milk-based drinks like cappuccinos and flat whites.
You don’t need to fiddle around to find the perfect ratio of foam to milk, either: This machine has six one-touch options so that you get the perfect drink every time. Options include a latte, cappuccino, two espresso options (long and short), steamed milk, and latte macchiato. You can also personalize each setting to create the drink of your dreams. All you need to do is insert your Nespresso capsule and pick your drink of choice.
The machine is also gorgeous and durable, made of stainless steel and washed black plastic. It includes a patented Thermoblock heating system that gets your drinks hot and ready in 25 seconds or less—which, let’s be honest, is way less time than it would take you in line at your favorite coffee shop! It’s easy to clean, too, since used capsules simply go into a container that you can empty and rinse out as needed. At almost 50% off, the Nespresso Lattissima is definitely a steal for latte lovers.

World’s SLOWEST city where it takes 42 minutes to travel just 6 miles by car is in the UK – beating out busy Paris & LA
LONDON has been revealed as the world’s slowest city – where it takes a whopping 42 minutes to travel just six miles by car.
The capital of the UK has been rated the worst city in the world for congestion at peak times – beating the famously busy cities of Paris and Los Angeles.
Traffic at a standstill in central London[/caption]
The report from TomTom found it takes London drivers an average of 42.5 minutes to travel just 6.2 miles in a car, with 43 per cent of that time resulting from traffic.
In comparison, it takes 32 minutes to drive the same distance in Paris, 28 minutes in Manchester and 25 minutes in Los Angeles.
Bucharest and Dublin took second and third place – where it takes about 36 minutes for the same journey at rush hour.
TomTom’s report details the fuel consumption, travel times and carbon dioxide emissions of drivers in 50 global cities.
The data was pulled from 600 million devices, including Sat Navs, smartphone apps and telematics systems.
Andy Marchant, a traffic expert at TomTom, said: “The ongoing train strikes heavily affected levels of traffic congestion, with commuters opting to use vehicles to get around cities in the absence of train services.
“In London specifically, a lack of black cab drivers may also have prompted more drivers into the city.
“The sheer volume of slow-moving traffic across UK cities, coupled with the UK’s antiquated road infrastructure, is having a significant impact on transport emissions.
“Better traffic management based on real-time data intelligence is needed to ensure viable traffic flows and the efficient use of city infrastructure.”
Londoners are also paying £1.79 to drive 6.2 miles – more than anyone else in the world.
Meanwhile, the cheapest places to drive the same distance are in America – costing 55p in Knoxville, Tennessee and 61p in Atlanta, Georgia.
Earlier this year, Britain’s most congested roads were revealed – with the average driver losing 80 hours to traffic jams in 2022.
Again, London’s roads were named worst in the world for traffic as new data unveiled the scale of delays in the capital.
Data firm INRIX released their annual Global Traffic Scorecard, with routes in cities like Birmingham, Leeds and Edinburgh all making the list of the UK’s busiest.
The A219 Southbound between Fulham and Morden in South London, topped the rankings, with an average of 47 hours lost, closely followed by the A202 Eastbound in South East London with 45 hours.
Both these roads are popular commuter routes and saw their busiest times at 5pm each day.
Outside of the capital, the worst road was the A45 Eastbound in Birmingham, which lost drivers an average of 37 hours, with a peak time of 4pm.
The data also showed the 10 cities with the highest traffic delay times.
London, perhaps unsurprisingly, topped the list by far, with the average delay time per driver clocking in at a whopping 156 hours.
Bob Pishue, a transport analyst and author of the report, said: “It is great to see civic and commercial life returning to normal, but unfortunately, we’re seeing congestion inching closer to, if not exceeding, pre-pandemic levels.
“We must manage congestion while improving mobility and accessibility in cities to avoid it hurting economic recovery and impacting the quality of life of commuters and residents.”

After Cracking Another ‘Secure’ Messaging App, European Police Arrest 42
European police arrested 42 suspects and seized guns, drugs and millions in cash, after cracking another encrypted online messaging service used by criminals, Dutch law enforcement said Friday. Police launched raids on 79 premises in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands following an investigation that started back in September 2020 and led to the shutting down of the covert Exclu Messenger service.
After police and prosecutors got into the Exclu secret communications system, they were able to read the messages passed between criminals for five months before the raids, said Dutch police. Those arrested include users of the app, as well as its owners and controllers. Police in France, Italy and Sweden, as well as Europol and Eurojust, its justice agency twin, also took part in the investigation. The police raids uncovered at least two drugs labs, one cocaine-processing facility, several kilograms of drugs, four million euros in cash, luxury goods and guns, Dutch police said.
The “secure” messaging app was used by around 3 000 people who paid 800 euros (roughly $866 USD) for a six-month subscription.

Grab this unusual 90-key UK mechanical keyboard for £42
I’m a big fan of mechanical keyboards, so when I saw this unusual keyboard discounted on Amazon, I needed to write it up for RPS. The idea here is that it’s more or less a 60% size mechanical keyboard, but with two useful additions: arrow keys and a numpad. This makes it about the same size as a tenkeyless keyboard, but without the (lesser-used) navigation keys.
Combined with an asking price of £42, down from a usual price of £50, I think it’s well worth considering – whether you’re looking for an interesting mechanical keyboard for your growing collection (I see you there) or a first cheap mech to give the whole idea a try.
