YouTube TV Price Goes Up to $73 Per Month
According to YouTube, the price is increasing because “content costs have risen” and it needs to charge more to “bring you the best possible TV service.”
With the price change, YouTube is also dropping the cost of the 4K content add-on. While it used to cost $19.99 per month, it is now $9.99 per month, so those who were subscribed to YouTube TV with the 4K add-on will actually see a small price decrease. YouTube TV with 4K will cost $83 instead of $85.
YouTube TV is a live TV service that has been around since 2017. When it first launched, YouTube TV was priced at $35, so costs have more than doubled over the last six years. YouTube TV allows up to six people in the same household to use the service, and it includes unlimited cloud DVR storage.
There are more than 100 channels available, with add-on subscriptions for premium networks like HBO Max and STARZ.

YouTube TV raises prices to an outrageous $73 per month
YouTube TV is getting another price hike, from $65 to $73. The company says new members will see the updated pricing starting today while existing subscribers will pay more beginning April 18th.
It’s the latest in a long line of YouTube TV price hikes. Before the latest increase, it had last raised them by $15 in June 2020. The service started at a mere $35 in 2017 and has ballooned incrementally as cord-cutting television has evolved from a scrappy disruptor to oh my god this costs $73 every single month.
A message sent this morning to YouTube TV subscribers reads, “As content costs have risen and we continue to invest in the quality of our service, we are updating our price to keep bringing you the best possible service.” In addition, the email notes that the service has dropped the cost of its 4K Plus add-on from $20 to $10 per month. The message also guides users to cancel their subscriptions if the new monthly fee pushes pricing out of their comfort zone.
An update for our members. As content costs have risen and we continue to invest in our quality of service, we’ll be adjusting our monthly cost, after 3 years, from $64.99/mo to $72.99/mo, in order to bring you the best possible TV service.

Baseball fans may be especially peeved with the new price, as YouTube TV dropped MLB Network from its lineup last month after failing to reach a new agreement. Although the company kept the door open to eventually restoring the service, that has yet to materialize over six weeks later.

The next day, Gere was out and about again, however cautious.
In a recent Instagram story posted by Alejandra, Gere is seen walking on the beach with his son and wife, wearing a mask.
Other information shared on social media suggests that Gere was not the only one who was under the weather recently.

Shop assistant, 21, killed pensioner, 73, in hit and run smash while high on cannabis – before ploughing car into ditch
A SHOP assistant high on cannabis killed a pensioner who was crossing the road in a hit and run smash.
Hivda Altuntop, 21, sped away from the scene where she ploughed into 73-year-old Penelope Coggan who was thrown 20 yards by the collision.

CCTV footage suggested she sped at up to 38mph within the 30mph limit and did not brake.
Altuntop, from Dovercourt, Essex, then crashed her Vauxhall Astra into a ditch just half a mile away, where she was arrested by the cops, Chelmsford Crown Court heard.
Mrs Coggan’s GP son, Michael, who worked in a surgery nearby, rushed to perform CPR was tragically was unable to save her.
The court heard Altuntop was driving home from Colchester having met a cannabis dealer and was using country roads to avoid being caught.

Altuntop carried on driving following the accident with a smashed windscreen, reaching up to 50mph before crashing into the ditch.
She told a witness to “f**k off’ when they saw her climbing out of the car window and went to help.
Altuntop denied causing death by dangerous driving by reason of insanity, claiming she was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia at the time.
However, she was convicted of a number of offences by a majority of 11 to one on every count – including ones from an incident last month – yesterday following her trial.

She was found guilty of two counts of aggravated vehicle taking, two counts of dangerous driving, two counts of possession of a knife, possession of cannabis, assaulting an emergency worker and causing death by dangerous driving.
Prosecutor Carolyn Gardiner said: “Mrs Coggan’s son ran out of the surgery and performed CPR but there was nothing that could be done to save her life.
“She died from the catastrophic injuries she sustained at the scene.”
A number of motorists had seen Altuntop driving dangerously on both legs of her journey including one who had to pull out of the way as she drove towards him and another who was overtaken on a blind summit.
A cop also saw her forcing other vehicles to swerve away but lost sight of her as he turned his marked police car around.
He later got a call to attend a road accident which Altuntop had left in her wake.
Altuntop was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries, while there she laughed uncontrollably and said she was hungry.
She was later taken to a police station where tests revealed she had marijuana in her system and she admitted smoking a joint.
During the trial three psychiatrists gave evidence – two for the defence and one for the prosecution.
While all three agreed Altuntop had undiagnosed schizophrenia at the time of the crash the prosecution expert said this did not mean she was unaware of the consequences and gravity of her actions.
She was also found guilty by a majority vote of aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, assaulting a police officer and having a bladed article following an incident the previous month.
On that occasion she again took her mother’s car without consent and drove it dangerously in Colchester and London, crashing into a van at one point.
Speaking afterwards, Mrs Coggan’s widower, Richard, described her as “a delightful person and mother, always happy, selfless, engaging, thoughtful and practical”.

He added: “Penny was a very special lady, so missed by us all and our friends.”
Altuntop is due to be sentenced next month.
A top-tier 850W EVGA PSU for £73 is an incredible early Black Friday PC deal
Golly. The EVGA P6 850W is a top-tier modular power supply, and today it’s been discounted by nearly £40 over at Amazon. That drops it £73, a terrific deal on a PSU that can handle anything up to (and including) an RTX 4090. We actually covered this power supply last month, when I was surprised to learn it had dropped to £90 after weeks of costing more than £100 in the crypto-boom era. Now it’s even cheaper, and that makes our recommendation stronger than ever.
