Best Nintendo Switch Game And Accessory Deals This Week
Nintendo Switch is home to some of the best games on the market. Unfortunately, many of its first-party exclusives rarely drop to super low prices, making it difficult to build up a library of games without upsetting your wallet. When games do see a discount, it tends to only knock their price down by a few bucks. That’s largely the case this week, although you’ll find a few big names with generous discounts–including Ring Fit Adventure, which is listed for just $55, down from $80. You’ll also find a handful of Pokemon and Zelda games with great low prices, along with a big discount on Splatoon 3.
A bunch of great accessories are also on sale this week. This includes a mount for using your Pro controller while in handheld mode, several controllers, and accessory bundles that offer everything from carrying cases and screen protectors to Joy-Con holders and more.
We’ve rounded up the best Switch game deals and best Switch accessories deals below. We’re not sure how long these price cuts will stick around, so move fast if something catches your eye.

I’m a Dollar Tree superfan – I made a dupe of my favorite fall accessory using only three items
A DOLLAR Tree superfan has revealed how she made an amazing luxury pillow dupe using three items from the discount store.
YouTube star Daniela, who is the brains behind DD’s Art Workshop, demonstrated how to create her version of a $27.99 Kirkland pillow with dollar store tote bags.
Daniella made this pillow from a tote from dollar tree[/caption]

The Kirkland pillow was inspired by a scarecrow and the tote bags read, “It’s all about the journey,” with a photo of a bike.
Daniela chose to replicate the scarecrow on the opposing side, creating a reversible pillow.
Her first step was flipping the tote bag over, with the blank side up.
“It was a little bit wrinkly and it was really kind of annoying me a little bit so I decided to iron it just to get all those wrinkles out,” she said.
After she got the wrinkles out, she cut the handles off the bag with her scissor.
The next step was to place cardboard inside the bag.
“The paint is gonna bleed if you do not do this part,” she said.
“You’re also going to be needing this for when you draw your scarecrow on your pillow.”

Then, she drew an outline of the scarecrow on the tote bag.
“It doesn’t have to be exactly like it,” she assured viewers.
“You’re just kind of getting an idea and your ruler really comes in handy because you want to go ahead and make it as centered as possible.
“It’s a very simple face. I didn’t want to change it, you guys, because I love scarecrows.”
As the pillow was supposed to be a dupe Danielle tried to make her scarecrow a “simple design” as close as possible to the picture.
She drew the lines lightly, so as not to mess up the fabric with potential mistakes.
Finally, it was time to paint.
PAINTING TIME
Daniela used Apple Barrel’s Nutmeg brown paint from the dollar store for the top of the pillow which she said was “ the more affordable route.”
“Usually, the paint doesn’t go on as well on some surfaces I’ve noticed but for the particular DIY it is going on perfectly,” she said.
“If you’re trying to stay on a low budget and if you don’t have acrylic paints and you want to do this DIY, you can totally get Craft Smart and Apple Barrel [paints] because they are, like I said, a little cheaper.”
Daniela added painting is not a rush and encourages people to watch a movie or listen to a podcast while they do it.
She noted that if you want a vintage look, one coat should do the trick, but if not, she would recommend you apply two coats of paint.
VINTAGE LOOK
For the nose of the scarecrow, she used the Apple Barrel multi-purpose white paint, The Craft Smart burnt orange, and the Folk Fire multi-purpose plaid yellow paint, inspired by the candy corn.
“I don’t know if you guys like candy corn,” she said. “I actually love it so I love how the little nose is like candy corn which is super cute.”
Using Craft Wise chalkboard paint from Dollar Tree, she painted on the eyes and mouth.
“It’s some of the best black paint,” she said, explaining the dollar chain is often out so she always sticks up.
Before applying a second coat, she blow-dried the pillow to ensure it was completely dry so as not to smudge the existing paint.
After she was done, she took a paintbrush and wrote “Happy Harvest” on the top brown part of the scarecrow.
“I didn’t use a pencil because I was noticing that I couldn’t really see it on the brown,” she added.
“Chalk is probably going to be a little thick but maybe a white marker or something [would work] if you want to do it that way,” she said.
“I think it looks adorable,” she said.
Finally, she took fiber filling, which fills the interior of pillows, and costs as little as $2.99, and filled the tote bag with it.
“I did break apart my fiberfill into smaller pieces so it wouldn’t be as large,” she said. “If you just put all of it in there, it can be a little lumpy so I just tore it apart and slowly stuffed it.”
Daniella said she is not a sewer, so she simply hot glued the bag shut, creating the final version of the pillow.
“I really love how it’s looking, ” she said. “You can’t even tell this is not sewn together and I am loving it.”

Apple Watch ‘Pro’ Accessory Cases Hint at Redesigned Chassis and Flat Display
According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, the Apple Watch Pro will debut with an all-new design that’s a reworking of the form factor Apple first introduced with the Series 4 in 2018. Today, new leaks out of China allegedly give us a better idea of the rugged new Pro model ahead of time.
Two images, one tweeted by leaker Sonny Dickson (above), the other posted to Weibo by user UnclePan (below), both of whom have shared accurate information in the past, purport to show accessory cases for the forthcoming Apple Watch Pro.
UnclePan notes in his post that the “Pro is not square in the traditional sense, but a new form factor,” and the casings do indeed hint that the main body of the watch will be rounded, while the upper rim of the chassis that meets the display will be flat and potentially sit flush with a flatter screen than the Series 7 model, possibly to provide better all-round protection against impacts.
There are also several cutouts suggesting larger, more protruding Digital Crown and Side buttons on the right, paired on the left with what appear to be larger-than-usual individual openings – one round, one pill-shaped – where the device’s thin speaker slats are usually located. Whether these are to accommodate a new speaker design or additional physical buttons is unclear.
Prior to the release of the Apple Watch Series 7, multiple rumors suggested Apple was working on a refreshed design with flat edges similar to the flat edges of the iPhone 13 and iPad Pro, but that didn’t end up happening. Rumors now suggest that the Apple Watch Pro could feature a similar sort of design with a flat display, but the device is not expected to get flat edges.
The new Apple Watch Pro is said to have a noticeably larger display on which users will be able to view more fitness and health-tracking data at the same time. The Pro model will also feature redesigned watch faces and a new low-power mode, according to Gurman.
The display is said to measure in at almost two inches diagonally, which is larger than the 1.9-inch diagonal screen size of the current Apple Watch Series 7 and the planned Apple Watch Series 8. It is also expected to include a more shatter-resistant screen and have a larger battery to accommodate longer workout times.
The standard Apple Watch Series 8 models are expected to feature the same design as the Apple Watch Series 7 with no updates to the chassis.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 14 lineup during a special event at Steve Jobs Theater on Wednesday. Alongside the new iPhones and Apple Watch models, Apple is also said to be unveiling new AirPods Pro earbuds.

I’m a Dollar Tree super fan – how I make a VERY high end home accessory using $1.25 buys
IT’S possible to create luxe-looking decor for your home using Dollar Tree buys.
One Dollar Tree fan has shared how he DIYed a beautiful chandelier to hang from his ceiling using a bunch of the chain’s $1.25 items.
“I needed a lamp shade for this light, so I went to my local Dollar Tree to get inspiration,” Rob Rivera said in a video shared with his 140K TikTok followers.
He picked up some wire wreaths and bath mats for just $1.25 and went home to make his own modern chandelier.
First, he used a wire cutter to cut a slit in the top wreath so that the shade could be hung on the light.
The next thing he did was spray-paint the wreaths gold.

After that, Rivera measured and cut the bath mats to fit around the wreaths.
When attaching the mats, he initially tried to use hot glue, but that was an epic fail.
He ended up using picture wire and basically “twisty-tied” the whole thing.
“Now I will admit this did get a little frustrating to get it going, and I did have to take a moment to cry in the corner, but I’m glad I didn’t give up because it ended up coming out way better than I expected,” Rivera shared.

“I even added some gold chain that I had lying around the house and I love it. Now is it perfect? No. But can you tell it’s made of bath mats and wreaths? Certainly not.”
Rivera was left with a stunning high-end-looking chandelier.
People in the comments section of Rivera’s video were grateful for the gorgeous DIY idea, singing its praises.
“What a great idea. You are an amazing home decorator,” wrote one.
“Looks great! Very creative!!” added a second.
“Looks like a very expensive chandelier, you did a very good job,” a final person said.
