Nintendo’s Amiibo system has always been extremely mixed in its utility. The figures are nice, and lovingly presented – but exactly how useful they are has always varied wildly. In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, however, they might be the most useful they’ve ever been.
For the most part, the series of figures that sites on my amiibo shelf has primarily acted as a decoration for my office. Generally speaking, it isn’t really worth getting them down for most games. Or, when it is, it’s a one-time tap to unlock some thingamajig or another and then back on the shelf it goes. It looks pretty and collects dust.
Breath of the Wild was always, I felt, one of the more fair implementations of the figures. Each time you tapped an amiibo, you’d get a selection of relatively random resources as found around Hyrule, plus a chest with either a fairly standard weapon or something a little more special. Through amiibo you could unlock things like a version of the shield from Wind Waker, or the classic Green Tunics of Links past. It felt fair – though honestly, it never felt like it gave you a significant leg up.
With The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom less than a week away, the internet is at peak Zelda hype levels, and we’re willing to bet some fans are looking to express their excitement by filling out their Zelda Amiibo collections.
Well, you’re in luck–Nintendo is reprinting several popular Zelda Amiibos ahead of Tears of the Kingdom’s release, and many hard-to-find models are also available from official retailers and third-party sellers alike.
To make your search easier, we compiled this list of every The Legend of Zelda Amiibo and where to find them. You’ll find links to everything from the new Tears of the Kingdom Link Amiibo, to the original Smash Bros. Link Amiibo from 2014. Note that not all figures are in stock at the time of writing–and if they are, some are priced higher than normal. Future stock and pricing are subject to change, so be sure to check the store listings we link for the latest availability.

Two are currently available for pre-order, and we’re keeping tabs on stock
Two amiibo from the Super Mario line have been reprinted and are now available to purchase again at Best Buy. You can pick up a Mario and a Peach amiibo, both of which came out a few years ago before going out of stock and into retirement. Well, they’re back, at least for the time being. Grab them if you want to add them to your collection.
The Mario amiibo was originally released on March 19, 2015. The Peach amiibo came a couple years later, on March 23, 2017. Despite their release dates being updated to 3/1/2023 in Best Buy’s listsings, the product descriptions for both still reference scanning them on your Wii U GamePad controller (RIP). Don’t worry, though — they’ll work just fine on your Nintendo Switch.
It’s unclear why, exactly, these two amiibo have been reprinted now, though there are some possibilities. We’re approaching March 10, aka Mario Day, and these could be part of that whole celebration. There’s also the impending release of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which may have something to do with it as well. In any case, these are some colorful amiibo that would look good on the shelf of any Mario and Peach fan.
These reprints raise other questions that are unanswered for the moment, as well. Will other amiibo from this series be repinted soon? Will these amiibo show up at other retailers aside from Best Buy? Who knows! If they do, we’ll add links above.
