A demo of Wargroove 2’s roguelike mode is available for the weekend
I somehow missed the news two weeks ago that Wargroove 2 was on the way. The actual successor to a spiritual successor to Advance Wars, Wargroove 2 is another 2D turn-based strategy game, but with new factions, a new roguelike mode, and a new co-developer.
There’s also a demo available to play right now, although only until the end of the weekend.
I’m a gym girl – I make sure my cardio machine is available in the most ‘genius’ way, people say they hope it’s a joke
A FITNESS lover has shared the “genius” way she makes sure that people don’t touch her machines at the gym.
She used her creative skills to mark her territory in a TikTok video, but some people say they hope it’s a joke.
Pareesa Akbar is a fitness trainer and influencer who shares relatable gym content on her Instagram.
She keeps it real about her weight loss and wellness journey and also showcases how the gym plays a role in her life.
In a TikTok video, she brought viewers with her to work out and let them in on a unique hack.
When she’s ready to get her cardio on, she has a way to make sure people don’t touch her machine.
At the start of the quick video, the camera was panned toward a set of stair masters.
“How I save my cardio machine for Monday’s 5 – 7 p.m.,” the subtitle above the visual read.
Then, the brunette walked into the frame and placed something quickly on the steps of the machine before walking away.
Upon closer review, it’s apparent that she placed a sign on it that read: “Out of Order.”
“Works every time,” Pareesa wrote in the video’s caption.
There were mixed opinions about the trick and people made those clear in the comment section of the video.
“Ok but actually genius,” one viewer commented.
“Please I hope it’s just a joke,” another chimed in.
“I’d throw the sign in the trash. You can’t put bids on machines,” another added.
“Stop this is so smart,” a fan wrote.
Former GTA boss unveils MindsEye, a new “blockbuster” available in Robloxlike Everywhere
Everywhere (not to be confused with Everything) was a big fat question mark at last year’s Gamescom Opening Night Live. It comes from Build A Rocket Boy, the studio founded by ex-GTA boss Leslie Benzies, and despite its cryptic reveal trailer, AliceB theorised it was some kind of Robloxlike. Turns out her hunch was correct – Everywhere is a platform that allows players to create their own custom content. To show off what the tools can do, Benzies and the team unveiled MindsEye, an episodic “blockbuster” adventure available inside Everywhere. A game set inside a game, if you will.
Twitter Blue subscriptions are now available worldwide
You no longer have to wonder whether or not the revived Twitter Blue subscription is available in your country. Twitter has confirmed that Blue is now available worldwide. Pay $8 per month ($11 if you sign up through the iOS app) and you’ll get the no-longer-that-special blue checkmark as well as 4,000-character tweets, higher ranking in replies, post editing and other perks.
Organizations, meanwhile, can pursue a more useful tick next to their names. Twitter has begun accepting applications for the grey checkmarks that verify government officials and organizations, not to mention their equivalents at multilateral institutions. As you might guess, the criteria is stricter. Applicants have to use either their government ID or a valid email address, and have to describe their positions and functions. Businesses can already apply for gold checkmarks.
Twitter Blue is now available globally! Sign up today to get your blue checkmark, prioritized ranking in conversations, half ads, long Tweets, Bookmark Folders, custom navigation, Edit Tweet, Undo Tweet, and more. Sign up here: https://t.co/SBRLJccMxD

The new Twitter Blue launched in November, but it quickly ran into problems. As the checkmark looked the same whether you’d paid for it or were a legacy verified user, people quickly used the membership to impersonate notable figures. Twitter soon blocked brand new accounts from signing up for Blue, and had to relaunch the tier in December with gold and grey checkmarks in tow.
A global rollout may be essential to boosting Blue’s popularity. According to a leak source, the paid option reportedly had just 180,000 subscribers in the US as of mid-January. CEO Elon Musk is said to want half of Twitter’s revenue to come from subscriptions, and that requires reaching a wide audience. Now, it’s less a question of availability and more whether enough users will consider the extra features worth the outlay.
