Prison bakery set up by Gordon Ramsay and London lags in reality TV show set to reopen
A PRISON bakery which starred in a Gordon Ramsay reality TV show is to reopen three years after closing its doors.
The Michelin-starred chef helped inmates set up Bad Boys’ Bakery in 2012 during filming for Channel 4’s Gordon Behind Bars at Brixton jail, South London.
It aimed to help prisoners gain employment following their release.
Despite being hailed as a success by then Justice Secretary Ken Clarke, it eventually closed.
Later it was taken over by training provider Novus, but it eventually ceased trading.
Now The Clink Charity, which runs restaurants and kitchen training schemes in more than 30 prisons, has announced it will reopen next month.

“I actually scolded my mouth on the first one which kind of helped me push through the first lot as the heat didn’t affect me after that.”
John is still awaiting official confirmation of his record, but he decided to get the tattoo anyway to show his “love for Greggs sausage rolls” and his passion for sausage roll eating.
