Amazon pauses HQ2 construction after nationwide battle royale over location
Remember when Amazon turned the United States into Thunderdome, making every state battle over the right to host the company’s next big headquarters and 25,000 jobs? Well, after laying off more than half that number, Amazon is tapping the brakes on HQ2 in Virginia, putting off construction of three 22-story office towers. The news was […]

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Start Date, Battle Pass, And More
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is just days away now, with all the in-game signage telling us that Season 1 will end on March 8. And as is usually the case, Epic is keeping its cards close to the vest for now, having not made any kind of reveals about Season 2 just yet. That said, we’ve got some clues, both big and small, about what the future has in store for us.
When does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 start?
Phrasing in the game says this season will end on March 8, which means the actual last day will be March 9–the stated end date for a season is usually the last full day for every region, with any potential season-ending live event and server downtime occurring the next day, and the start to the new season a day after that.
So if Epic follows normal procedure, Fortnite will go offline for the Season 2 update on March 9, and then Chapter 4 Season 2 will start the morning of March 10.

Apex Legends: The Board Game brings the battle royale to your tabletop
If you just can’t get enough Apex Legends, there’s some good news, as there’s an official board game in the works.
Quite simply titled Apex Legends: The Board Game, this particular tabletop adaptation is a competitive tactics game designed for 2-4 players, though you will be able to play with more people thanks to some planned expansions (thanks, GameSpot). It’s actually planned to have a Kickstarter campaign, which launches May 17, but with a game as popular as Apex, it’s pretty likely to be successfully funded.
In the game, you’ll play as a Legend, four of which are included in the main set, as you attempt to take out other players or teams, with sessions lasting roughly an hour each time. While the game’s board itself hasn’t been shown off yet, or what it will actually be like to play the game, a press release promises a “fully-immersive, three-dimensional environment taken straight from the screen.”
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is a floaty looter shooter with a cosmetics-only battle pass
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League got a lengthy demonstration at tonight’s PlayStation State Of Play event, which clarified several things about what kind of game Rocksteady’s long-awaited return to the DC Universe really is. It turns out it’s a game with lots of floaty air combat, lots of noise, lots of loot and gear scores and weapon classes, and with a battle pass (but for cosmetics only). Plus there will be DLC to add new characters post-launch.
