“I took those photos of the 6 toes print. This was in 2016 at my logging camp 2 miles west of Lake Almanor near Chester, California. Unfortunately, that entire area has burned down this year in the Dixie Fire. And for the naysayers that say they’re fake, they’re not. The smaller print is my size 10 footprint. They are unusual compared to other Bigfoot tracks that I’ve encountered. That’s why I shared them. I have no need to fake anything, nor do I want any notoriety of any kind.” GW

A Wyoming man recalls his amazing Bigfoot abduction experience when he was a boy while camping near the Big Sandy River. He later remembers the incident in detail after talking with his older brother.
“Let me preface this by saying that I didn’t remember this incident until I was in my early 30s. It came back to me over about a week in bits and pieces. I think it was triggered by my brother who came to live with us. After a few days of little snippets and memories popping into my head, out of nowhere I finally talked to him about it. He told me it was all too real although he didn’t know what happened to me until then. He put two and two together and shared his side of the story which made me realize that I wasn’t crazy or imagining things.
I grew up on a ranch near the Wind River Mountains in Wyoming. We heated a house with wood so every year after the crops were in before we had to start irrigating, we would spend about two weeks in the mountains getting wood. We always went to the same place that we called ‘bear trap’ on the Big Sandy River. It was fairly remote because it was long and difficult to drive into the place. The only other people I ever saw there besides family were sheepherders on horseback. I should also add that I love the outdoors and we spend most of our weekends either in the desert or in the mountains. I love them both. But for the desert, because I am much more comfortable there I don’t sleep well if at all. In the mountains, I’m always on edge. For as long as I can remember I’ve not been able to go creek fishing without someone else nearby, preferably in sight. Now I know why.
I think I was about five years old. My brother was 12. We’d been camping for about a week and mom and dad went down the mountain or something and left my brother and me up there. It sounds crazy nowadays. I remember standing there watching them drive off next to my brother who had a .22 rifle propped on his shoulder. After they left I went to play at my favorite spot by the creek which is out of sight from camp. which was probably 200 yards away. I don’t know what my brother was doing. This is what I remember.
I do recall being carried by something with long thin fur under its arm, kind of like a football. There were at least three other beings alongside us traveling upright and on all fours intermittently and screaming yelling at the one who had me. It was like they were telling it to put me down and it was wrong to take me. They seem to be in a panic. I don’t remember smelling anything. It almost feels like I was watching it happen to someone else. I don’t recall any emotions like I was a passive observer. It doesn’t make sense because I know I had been terrified. I didn’t like the loud chaotic noises though I don’t know how far we went.
But finally, we came to a place that was an overhang or a cave. The dirt in front of it had been swept clean. The ones running along beside us had reddish brown fur and long arms and seemed like they were teenager age and a little younger. They continued to squawk and yell in protest until a much larger one came into view. Then they all went silent and out of sight for some reason. I had the impression she was the matriarch of the bunch. She grunted something at the one holding me and I was put down on the ground and it left too. I didn’t feel like she was mean or meant to hurt me just very sad. I wonder if maybe she had lost her own child and snatched me out of grief. The older female looked at me kindly and had a soothing presence. Her fur was darker almost black and thinner and wirier. I don’t remember if she made any sounds or not but feel like she continually communicated to me that I was safe and I shouldn’t worry.
She took me by the hand and led me to a bed-like thing made out of pine needles, grass, and soft bark which was right at the inside edge of the cave or overhang. She indicated that I should sit there and was very gentle with me. She disappeared for a short time and came back with some water with plants in it and had me drink it and then gently laid me on the mat. The next thing I remember was waking up, first smelling a damp mossy dirt smell and then feeling the grass tickling my nose. I was very confused as to why I‘d take a nap right there. I was about 20 feet away from where I’d been playing.
I walked into the camp and my brother grabbed me and hugged me and then yelled at me for hiding from him. In retrospect he was frantic. After I told my brother my side of the story he told me that he had been looking for me for hours and that he had checked the area where I’d been playing several times. He also told me that grandpa and dad were aware that a family of these beings lived around there but they had never bothered us. He and my dad used to leave them salt and sugar on a log every year and they took it every time. I was unable to talk to my dad and my grandpa about it after I remembered because they had both died. When I was young I never told my mom about it either. I did hear my grandpa telling my dad about hearing something come up the creek while he was fishing once and it was no bear. But they stopped talking about it when they realized I was listening.” Name withheld

Two young men from Powell County, Kentucky are riding on a street bike at night when they come across a huge Bigfoot crouched over a horse carcass laying on the mountain road.
The following post was transcribed from The Facts by Howtohunt.com:
“I never have and never will care what people think of me. I try to be a decent person but sometimes people just won’t let me. I’m in Powell County, Kentucky, and 46 years old. I’ve had some crazy stuff happen in my life but when I was 17 and in school, I had this 440 Kawasaki street bike that I rode the summer and winter.
Well, one night I and my buddy Nathan were out riding sometime after midnight and it was about late November. It was kind of cold for just a jacket and gloves but we were young men so it didn’t matter much. We rode up Furnace Mountain Road about four to five miles up and, like I said, it was after midnight. We came into the outside lane of an ‘S’ curve. There was something bigger than us put together and on the bike. It was bent over something dead. We passed on by it pretty fast too. It was simply huge! Nathan leaned up closer to my head and said, ‘WTF was that?’ I could tell he was nervous and I was too. I told him that I don’t want to know. By this time we’re about half a mile past it.
I stopped at a little country church and turned around. I told him it looked like a Bigfoot trying to tear something apart and he said he thought the same thing. Being 17 and stupid I guess prompted us to go back by it. So went back by the way we came and as we entered the curve sure enough there it was still bent over whatever it had down on the roadside. I hit the bright on the headlight about at about 75 feet from it and about two seconds later the creature stood up and half turned to face us. Right on by it, we went, on the wrong side of the road of course, and both looked at it instead of the road. Well, I nearly went off the edge of the pavement. Nathan was pounding my sides with open hands and did so halfway back down the mountain.
When it stood up it was twice as tall as me and him sitting on the motorcycle. I won’t tell you that I could see its eyes, but I saw the rest of it really well. It was dark brown or black and had a light tan-colored beard, chest, and abdomen hair, kind of how gray looks on a real hairy human man. It was completely covered in long hair that’s for sure, except for what I could see of its face. It looked to have a long head and face, and its arms were long and defined. It had tree trunk thick legs. I’m not going to say I was scared to death, but I was freaked out big time.
We went back up that way the next morning to see what kind of animal was laying on the side of the road. What we came across was a very pretty horse laying there with its whole hind torn off of it. The neck was broken and it looked like a truck had hit it by the way its other leg bones all looked.
Since that experience, I’ve been a Sasquatch enthusiast. I’ve always wanted to have another encounter.” SB

A US Army Sergeant, stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, decides to go turkey hunting and observes a Bigfoot. He later tells a Private about his experience. He is then told a very interesting account.
“From 2005 to 2008 I was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado. While there my family and I enjoyed spending time hiking and venturing all over. We encountered several beautiful native critters including mountain lions and bears.
During the spring of 2006, I thought I would give it a go and try to turkey hunt near the base. I found a spot in an open unit and had several reports of good toms in the area. I got to the parking lot a little after dawn with just enough light to make my way through the brush without the use of a headlamp. I found what seemed like a good spot to set up, facing part of the Cheyenne Mountain range south of Pikes Peak.
As the sun rose I began calling and had a few turkeys gobbling their response. Unfortunately, where I was, I couldn’t tell exactly where they were because of the way the mountain made everything echo. There’s an old gravel road to my left about 300 yards.
At about 0840 am I heard a vehicle coming down the road and glanced over and saw a red pickup with at least two guys in it bouncing down the gravel road driving west through a pass. As they approached the pass I caught movement out of my right eye. I could see a large dark-colored thing moving north away from the road. I picked up my binoculars and I found it again as it began to scramble up one of the draws. I watched it move from my left to right covering a great distance in almost no time. Just before it began scrambling up the rocky draw I saw it turn and look back at the truck. In my mind, I first saw it as a bear. However, after a few minutes, I realized it was on two legs and not four running across the ground about 300 yards from me. It covered about 500 yards of brush and rocky terrain way quicker than a bear or anyone could have. As it scrambled up the draw I could see it reach out with its hands to grip and pull itself up. It seemed like in the blink of an eye and it was up and out of the sight behind the trees and brush.
I was trying to wrap my head around what I had just seen. I finally gather my gear and gun and began moving back to my truck. It hit me about the time I reached my truck exactly what I just witnessed. Whoever was in the passenger seat of the other truck I believe saw it too because that is what directed my attention to the movement. They had pointed quickly and the brake lights of the truck had tapped just before I saw the movement.
As I loaded my gear into the truck I began shaking with excitement, similar to after shooting a deer and processing what just happened. At the same time though I did not want to stick around. Later I looked up on the web and found there had been several sightings reported in and around the area.
Later, speaking to one of my soldiers from the area (who was from Alamosa), I told him what I’d seen. He said that they’re here, they’re all over the place.
He said that he and his uncle were elk hunting about five years ago. “My uncle pointed to the opposite ridge. He said, ‘we’re not the only ones hunting today.’ I picked up my rifle and looked through the scope when my uncle smacked me on the head. He said, ‘Don’t do that. You’ll p*ss them off!” He handed me his binoculars and I saw a large hairy man tracking the elk just like we were from the opposite ridge. That’s when my uncle told me it was time for us to go and that I needed to be extremely careful when elk hunting in the area. He said if you’re ever by yourself in here and you come across one of them tell him that you’re just leaving and back away slowly. If he rushes you, because some of them will try to hurt you, do not hesitate. Shoot and don’t stop until you see him drop. Don’t ever speak of it.
I told my grandpa when we got home. He confirmed he had several sightings out while elk hunting there. He also confirmed to leave. But if attacked, shoot until all your bullets are gone. “So, yeah, I know what you saw. Welcome to the family Sergeant.”

A southern Oregon logger describes his harrowing encounter with a pair of Bigfoot. His attempt to get a photograph of one of the creatures nearly caused him to be attacked.
“This happened to me in the mountains of southern Oregon. I’m 48 years old and have spent my life hunting, fishing, camping, and for the last years working in the wood/mountains. you can’t live in Oregon and not heard of Bigfoot. It’s like a Canadian never hearing about moose or hockey. However, minus a possible encounter with one at age 13, I’ve never actually seen one. That is until last year.
I’ve worked in a particular area of the wilderness for two years by myself. The first year was uneventful and in the woods, you’d hear normal wildlife sounds. Last year, in late February however, that all changed. I was in one of the spots on the mountain riding a chainsaw. I had just felled a tree. I made one cut into it, and off to the west, I heard four thundering blasts like something took a big solid piece of wood and tried to break a tree in half with it. I mean it was loud. I immediately stopped and looked in the direction it came from. It sounded like it may have been off in the distance a bit, maybe like it echoed from somewhere off the mountain. I went back to work.
Approximately 30 minutes later I had moved 80 yards east on this slope and fell another tree. Again I made one cut into it when suddenly there are four more loud blasts from directly behind me from the south. Whatever it was had followed me and got up behind me this time. I flipped around looking up the hill briefly and then just picked up my saw and left that area for the day and went home. Whatever it was, I felt, didn’t want me there.
About a week later I was in a different spot on the mountain. I was cutting firewood and had my three-month-old German Shepherd with me. She was always at my feet everywhere I went, which will come into play here shortly. Anyway, I fell and cut some standing Silver Madrone about 30 yards off the road. I was packing as big of logs as I could throw on my shoulder down the bank above the road pitching them down to the load in the truck to load in the truck. I had made several trips and decided to go down the six-foot embankment to the truck and grab a cold one. As I climbed up the bank I looked down the tree line to my east at around 80 yards away. I see what looks to be a large red-haired silhouette standing next to a large fir tree. The sun was off to its back and lit up part of the left shoulder, the head, its right shoulder, right arm, and leg. I could not really see anything except an outline of reddish-brown hair that the sun was hitting from behind. I wasn’t really sure what i was looking at, but eventually, I found out.
Anyway, I’m thinking maybe my mind’s playing tricks on me and I go back to work. I made a few trips packing logs one at a time on my shoulder and decided to stop and look down there again. However, this time I don’t see it. I’m still convinced I’m not actually seeing anything in particular. I make a few more trips down to the truck and I look down there again. This time, at that exact moment, my dog starts growling. I look down at her and she is facing the opposite direction I am and growling into the woods. That was freaking unnerving! I looked and I see nothing, but once again I pack up and leave immediately.
Now, things start to get scary. Several days later, I’m heading up the mountain. I have earbuds in listening to a podcast and it was a dreary overcast morning. It is around eight to nine o’clock so it was daylight, but not like a bright sunny day. I came around the corner that followed a little rock ledge and then flattened out for an opening. Something caught my attention to the left. I’m staring at this thing thinking what the ‘F’ is this? As I approach I’m looking right into the face of something that my brain registers as an effing gorilla. I’m about parallel with it when I realized what I was looking at. There was no doubt that it was 100% a Bigfoot that was squatted down. I very clearly see this animal as it was only 60 feet or so off the road. It was black in color and looked like it was covered in four-inch dreadlocks. The hair was matted looking, and the arms and shoulders were massive. It had black eyes, a kind of a conical-shaped forehead and it was a kind of a gray/blue color. The brow ridge was very pronounced as well as its cheekbones. It had forward-facing nostrils and just looked like pure evil to me.
This all happened so fast that it took my brain a few seconds to think to stop and get a better look and take a picture. At that point, I had driven by it. There was a place to turn around my F-250 just ahead so I hit the gas and sped up to it, turned around, and headed back while ripping out my earbuds and getting the camera ready. However, it was gone. It couldn’t have taken me two minutes, but it was gone. So I drove back and forth through this area probably four or five times searching, looking for anything that may have possibly tricked my mind somehow. However, there’s nothing even remotely close to what I saw.
So I ended up telling a couple of people about this. One was my brother and he asks why didn’t I get a picture.I tried to explain that by the time I processed what I was looking at I was literally passing it by and then it took a second to think about getting a picture. By that time it was gone.
Okay. Now things really get scary to me. Exactly three days later I was back up on the mountain cutting firewood and had my German Shepherd with me. I was in the spot on the mountain that led to a dead end. I turned around and pulled off to the side of this old dirt mountain road. There’s an area full of standing dead Madrone. Around 100 yards below this road was an old regrowth area, a bunch of eight-foot-tall Douglas Fir trees down there. I’m cutting some wood, maybe 30 feet down from the road, when I noticed something black in between two of the small Douglas Fir trees. I see this black thing and immediately think it’s the black Bigfoot I saw previously.
I think about my brother questioning me as to why I didn’t get a picture, so in a moment of courage (which I soon regretted), I thought I’m going to get a picture. I walk back up to the truck, grab my semi-auto 12-gauge, put three extra double-odd buckshot rounds in my breast pocket of my overalls, took out my cell phone, and got ready for a picture.
I headed back there and was about halfway when I looked down at my feet to check on my dog. She wasn’t there. So I turned around and she was sitting watching me from beside the truck. So I called her name and she didn’t move. At that same time, I heard four steps from down below me where I’d been headed to get a picture. These steps were heavy and broke branches on the ground with every step. I swung around that way and at that moment from up over the truck I heard something I’d never heard before. I have a hard time explaining it. It was a sequence of sounds that almost sounded ape-like with some suction-like clicking sounds thrown in. At that moment my heart sank into my stomach and it all came together. I was surrounded! No doubt the black thing had just heard take four steps. It was the same beast I had just looked right into the face of three days before. There was no doubt that the red-haired one was above me. Holy ‘F!’ I froze for a moment, then started sounding like a crazy man. I literally verbalized, ‘I’m sorry. I’ll not try to approach you anymore. I’m going to put my gun down and just need to pick up this wood I cut and I’m leaving.’ So, I did back up to the truck and lean the 12-gauge up against it. l loaded up the wood and my stuff and left.
I didn’t go back to that area for a while and when I did it was like the mountain was back to normal. The wildlife and the sounds were there. I have no doubt that my drive to get a picture to show my brother damn near got me killed. If I’m ever in that situation again there will be zero chance that I try to get closer in order to take a picture. No effing way!” D
