Tears of the Kingdom causes NSFW Zelda search spike, even if it is a bit weird
Because people just can’t seem to help themselves, searches for NSFW Zelda content have skyrocketed after the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
I know two things to be true in life: water is wet, and people love to go on to the internet and make NSFW content about generally SFW things. In this particular case, you probably might be grossed out to hear, searches for NSFW Zelda content have absolutely skyrocketed (pun not intended) following the recent release of Tears of the Kingdom over on Pornhub.
It unfortunately comes with the territory when it comes to a game like this, but it’s definitely a bit weird considering we don’t quite know how old Zelda herself is in the sequel. She turns 17 in the first game (no, it doesn’t count that she’s technically 117), and we don’t know how much time has passed between the two games. Link is around the same age as Zelda in the first game, as covered by Polygon, so I would advise taking this into consideration before searching for yourself.
David Gaider says making mythological musical Stray Gods was “a little bit more complicated” than expected
What can I say? I love games that have a bit of a sing-song. I’ve enjoyed the pop platforming of Sayonara Wild Hearts, the DIY DJ-ing in Fuser, the grungy game-meets-album Teenage Blob, and the recently released fist-pumping robot-thrashing Hi-Fi Rush just to name some from the top of my noggin’.
Music is a definitely big part of these games, but Stray Gods: A Roleplaying Musical has set itself on a different kind of musical path, in that it’s actually a musical. I’m talking like a full-on ballad-belter, curtain-caller, exit-stage-left-er musical. And get this: it’s also a modern retelling of the mythos behind the Greek Gods. It feels like my inner theatre kid has chugged ten Red Bulls and is waiting for her cue to burst out.
CD Projekt Red will tell us a bit more about Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty this June
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty still doesn’t have a release date yet, but CD Projekt Red says we’ll start to hear more about it this June.
CD Projekt announced that Cyberpunk 2077 would be getting a big expansion called Phantom Liberty last year, later revealing that the one and only Idris Elba is the next celebrity actor making an appearance in the world of Cyberpunk. We haven’t really seen or heard much about it since then, but earlier this week the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter brought the DLC up again, promising that we’ll actually start to get some more information on it this June.
“ICYMI, we’ll start talking about Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty this June,” reads the tweet. “At [Summer Games Fest]: Play Days, we’ll have hands-on sessions for press and content creators. We’re also planning plenty of hands-on opportunities for our community at a later date, so stay tuned!”
PlayStation Plus Essential free games for May have leaked, and it’s a bit of a mixed bag
Right about on schedule, the leaker who has been bringing us news of the free monthly PlayStation Plus Essential games for a while now has returned to provide details of May’s line-up.
As you’d expect, members of the PlayStation Plus Essential tier are set to receive three games. Considering how late we are in the last week of April, the announcement should be officially made today or tomorrow.
According to leaker billbil-kun, posting on their usual spot on deals site Dealabs, Essential subscribers are getting Grid Legends (PS4 and PS5), Chivalry 2 (PS4 and PS5), as well as Descenders (PS4 and PS5).

Diablo IV’s endgame looks expansive (and a bit confusing)
Diablo IV’s dungeons are gonna be a nightmare after players complete the campaign. The developers just released a new video outlining the game’s endgame progression, and it’s filled with all sorts of somewhat bewildering things like paragon systems, world tiers, nightmare dungeons, and more.
Players will level up their characters via a bog standard skill tree. The video shows that, once players have hit max level, completed the campaign, and completed the capstone dungeon at the end of the game, they’ll get access to an expanded skill board that reminds me a bit of Final Fantasy X’s sphere grid. So even though your character is at the highest level achievable, there will still be a system in place to make them more powerful. The board…
Raidborn doesn’t try or need to be more than a bit of stabby fun
There’s a kind of game that we all have a fondness for. It transcends genre, even if it doesn’t particularly push the boat out. It’s not the first game that comes to mind as a favourite or recommendation, but it’s a plain good time. Raidborn is one of those.
It doesn’t try to take over your life, or be the Everything Game that invariably becomes the Nothing Game. It’s just a neat little thing to have some harmless fun with. Sometimes that’s what you want.
