Wild Hearts improves Monster Hunter, and that’s great news for both
Monster Hunter rival Wild Hearts is almost here, and everything we’ve seen of the EA-published fantasy game from Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force division is shaping up to be a serious contender to Capcom’s crown. The idea of beating Monster Hunter at its own game with a first entry is perhaps a little bold, but Wild Hearts steps certain things forwards in ways that should make fans of Monster Hunter and the genre as a whole excited for the future.

I’m in my 30s, my mom’s in her 60s – we both styled the same $23 Shein sweater and it looks great in plus sizes
LIKE mother, like daughter – especially in this household where both halves of the duo are equally stylish.
Thirty-something fashionista Jennifer (@jennifer_samantha_style) and her mom ordered the same sweater from Shein, and both rocked the affordable look.
At the beginning of the clip, Jennifer and her mom, who’s in her sixties, were already in matching leopard-print dresses.
But it was time to get cozy. “It’s sweater weather,” an excited Jennifer wrote in the caption.
Both women held the Shein sweaters in front of their bodies, giving them an excited little shake.
Then, with a flash of video editing, Jennifer and her mom underwent a wardrobe quick change.
The mommy-daughter pair looked at each other in faux shock and genuine delight.
In a close-up, they got to show off how they styled the same sweater to fit their individual tastes.
Jennifer picked a black-and-beige version of the criss-cross sweater, $23.
It’s available in five colorways, sizes 0XL (12) through 3XL (18).
Her faux-leather leggings gave the sweater’s delicate eyelash lace trim some added edge.
Strappy black booties brought the look together and made the cozy look into a cohesive ensemble.
Meanwhile, Jennifer’s mom chose the sweater in black and purple.
Her mom perfectly matched the purple sweater to her berry lipstick.
Instead of shiny leggings, Jennifer’s mom went with distressed black jeans.
Her face-framing bangs and boxy glasses made the look sharp and smart.
A buckled heel completed the outfit and gave her a tiny hint of bling.
It’s no surprise Jennifer’s fans loved the sweaters – and the women wearing them.
“Love these videos. You guys are amazing,” one fan wrote. “Go momma!”
“Your mom is stunning! I would have never guessed she was in her 60s,” another viewer wrote.
The envious admirer added, “You got some amazing genes, you will never age!”
I’m an emo cowgirl – people say I can’t be both, but I don’t care I’m ‘yallternative’
A YALLTERNATIVE cowgirl has become fed up with people referring to her as a ‘buckle bunny’ and discrediting her lifestyle because of her appearance.
TikTok user Amelia Moose (@minimoose18) doesn’t conform to the typical country-girl look and has no plans to.

Amelia doesn’t plan on switching up her look[/caption]
Amelia’s emo style – complete with black winged eyeliner, black lipstick, and black accessories – have thrown some people for a loop.
Her dedication to authentic farming life has been put into question as a result.
In a recent video, Amelia addresses the comments in which people refer to her as a buckle bunny and pick apart other aspects of her unique fashion choices.
The term buckle bunny is typically used to describe women who pursue successful rodeo cowboys.
The caption under the video reads: “Loading your a buckle bunny comments lol,” with the hashtags #yallternative #country #western #countrytiktok #countrygirl #fyp
Amelia starts the video by posing as a follower in a mock conversation with herself.
“You’re a buckle bunny,” she states.
“Um, I’ve been showing livestock since I was a kid and now I raise livestock to sell,”
“I don’t necessarily see how that makes me a buckle bunny since buckle bunnies are city girls who dress like fake cowgirls to get men and I don’t really do that.”
She continues the conversation by mimicking those who don’t believe someone could be emo and country.
“Is it the black? I think I look pretty good. Also, it’s called yallternative. Um, and I’m pretty sure the emos wouldn’t want me,” she sarcastically replies.
An explanation for why she doesn’t own a pair of square-toe boots comes next.
Amelia says she has had the same pointed cowboy boots since middle school because she hasn’t grown since then.
“Also, If I went out and bought a pair of square toe just because ‘real’ cowgirls wear square toe, I’m pretty sure that would make me a try-hard,” she said.
“Because that’s not who I am and I’m doing it just for validation.”
The yallternative cowgirl ends the video by reminding viewers that country is a lifestyle regardless of skewed perceptions.
“To put down other people who live the lifestyle, I feel like that’s wrong,”
“And real country people would not do that.”
Followers commended Amelia for her subtle clap back.
One follower commented: “Babe don’t listen to anyone-black and turquoise is my GO TO.”
“As an elder emo we will accept you and love you and beat up the bullies,” an ally wrote.
Another supporter said: “Ignore the haters. Be you and live authentically!”
Amelia isn’t the first cowgirl to address shady comments about her appearance.
Georgia Vanzant—a cowgirl who posts about western fashion on TikTok, called out trolls who said she was a ‘buckle bunny’.
Similarly, Taylor Rousseau claimed she has also heard the term but has chosen to embrace it.

Rishi Sunak opens door to ‘honest’ talks with strikers about pay rises as both sides remain deadlocked
RISHI Sunak has opened the door to “honest” talks with strikers about pay rises — as ministers meet unions today.
But the Prime Minister would not be drawn on whether he would discuss the current year’s pay deal for nurses.
Last night, union chiefs said the PM’s words were a “chink of optimism” with both sides deadlocked[/caption]
Sunak told the BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg: ‘We want to have a reasonable, honest conversation about pay.’[/caption]
It comes as ministers from the Health, Transport and Education departments prepare for talks with unions.
Last night, union chiefs said the PM’s words were a “chink of optimism” with both sides deadlocked.
In a big sit-down interview to kick-start the new year, Mr Sunak promised to eliminate one-year waiting lists for NHS operations by next spring — but refused several times to admit the NHS was “in crisis”.
He told the BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg: “We want to have a reasonable, honest conversation about pay.
“The door has always been open to talk about the things nurses want to talk about, and the unions want to talk about more generally.”
Mr Sunak did not “categorically” rule out a pay rise for nurses “right here, right now”, saying: “We want to have these conversations.”
He refused to get into the specifics of negotiations but insisted next year’s pay deals and talks for April’s agreement are under way.
Nursing unions had demanded a 19 per cent pay rise for 2022-23 but have since admitted that is not likely and they may accept a ten per cent increase.
A further two-day strike by nurses is pencilled in for January 18 and 19, and ambulance drivers will walk out again on January 23.
DVLA staff processing driving licences are set to walk out this week too, and a ballot on action by teachers is expected by Friday.
Royal College of Nursing leader Pat Cullen said of Mr Sunak’s olive branch: “The PM talked about coming to the table. That’s a move for me because I’ve said, ‘Let’s meet halfway’. If that table is now available, I will be there — but it must be about addressing pay from 2022-23.”
But Unite’s Sharon Graham hit out, saying today’s meeting “has been misrepresented on almost every level”.
She added: “It is not a negotiation, it is not on current NHS pay and it is not with the PM. Unless and until he accepts the need to make real progress on the current pay claim, there will still be strikes across the NHS this winter.”

POLDARK hunk Aidan Turner and his actress wife Caitlin FitzGerald have been separately pictured without their wedding rings.

They secretly married in Rome in 2020 and welcomed their first child in January, last year.
