Concerned ALIEN ABDUCTION EXPERIENCER Recently Contacts Me
An experiencer is concerned about an apparent abduction that occurred this past January. She eventually contacted me hoping that I could help her understand what may have happened.
Mr. Strickler. I remember being dropped off at my house. I live in suburban Philadelphia. I was so exhausted when I “fell” into my bed. I told my best friend after this happened. I truly do not know how much time had passed before telling her. I feel like the time has just gone in my head. After I told her, I wrote it in my journal on January 2, 2023:
“I truly believe I was abducted by aliens a couple of months ago. My “dreams” of my house were too vivid to be dreams; something happened.
I remember standing at the patio door looking up. The ship was huge with 2, 3, or 4 big lights. I remember a red and white light. I knew I was looking at the back. But, instead of seeing my backyard, there was a field with 2 cars. I think the one closest to me was a red convertible with the top down. There was a woman leaning against the car. I think she had dark curly hair. Darker than mine and softer curls. I think 1 or 2 men were sitting in the car drinking.
These details are too vivid and too memorable to be a dream. The ship was a very strong material; gunmetal grey in color. From what I saw, the house blocked the rest of the ship. (I was looking up). The clincher is that I was jolted “awake” (in bed). I turned over and the clock read 5:26 am. I felt like I had just gotten in bed and I was exhausted.
I didn’t want to have to get up and go to work. I turned onto my left side and my first thought was that I’d need to get checked out for any implants. I tried to find something on the internet to tell my story but didn’t find anything in that short time. I told [my best friend] last night and she doesn’t think I’m crazy.
When I wrote it, I wrote things going on in my life before and after. There was no break. Also, I remember when I wrote this how calm I became. To clarify how I saw the ship, I have two sliding glass doors going outside. I have to open both of them. I remember seeing everything in the den as it is right now (not like a dream where everything is distorted or made up) and I was standing in the house, at the first door, with both open, in my, probably, nightgown that night. I was looking up and if I had stepped out and jumped up, I could have touched the ship it was that close. I have metal awnings but that night, it was like they were gone.
Because the ship was so close, and the view I had, that’s why I could only see the back. It was like I was being dropped off. I didn’t feel strange or funny or have any weird things. (Supernatural things do happen to me at night but as long as I pray, it helps. I now wear a St. Michael the Archangel medal that was blessed by the Pope and pray to him each night also and that has helped tremendously.)
To clarify being exhausted. Have you ever gone out one night and partied and got drunk (not too drunk but enough to know you’re drunk) and you came in at 4 or 5 or 6 am? Then, you throw yourself in bed and you’re asleep before you’ve stopped moving? That’s what I felt like.
I had gone to bed the night before, as usual, but when I was jolted awake, I looked at the clock (see above) and literally felt like I had been dropped into my bed and that I had not gotten any sleep.
My best friend is the only one I told about this because I’m too scared to talk to anyone else. Maybe I watch too many TV shows and movies but I have not spoken to anyone about this. I’ve thought long and hard and I wanted to report this but I don’t want anything bad to happen to me.
You were mentioned at the end of an article I read on Google. This is how I found your contact information.
I’ve considered being hypnotized to dig deeper but I don’t want to be alone when it happens to avoid any muddying. I hope in some way that you do take me seriously and can help me to come to terms with what has happened to me. I will state now that I don’t party, I don’t get drunk, I don’t do drugs, and I don’t take any special Rx medications.” L
NOTE: I contacted the experiencer, who agreed to have me publish her inquiry. We talked for quite a while. I do believe that she had a profound incident, though I’m not sure exactly what happened to her. Lon

Some Apple Employees Seriously Concerned About Mixed-Reality Headset as Announcement Draws Closer
Initial enthusiasm around the device at the company has apparently become skepticism, according to eight current and former Apple employees speaking to The New York Times. The change of tone reportedly marks an unprecedented level of concern about a new Apple product inside the company, in stark contrast to previous product launches that were pursued with single-mindedness and enthusiasm.
The first-generation headset is purportedly seen as a bridge to future products that require technological breakthroughs, but many employees are said to have worries about the device’s $3,000 price point, utility, and unproven market. Skeptics have questioned if the device is “a solution in search of a problem,” unlike the iPod and iPhone. The headset has apparently not been “driven by the same clarity” as Apple’s other products.
Some Apple employees have defected from the project due to doubts about its potential, while others have been fired over lack of progress with some of the device’s functionality, including Siri. The discontent is said to extend to members of Apple’s leadership, some of whom have questioned the device’s prospects.
The headset was apparently presented to many of Apple’s top 100 executives via a video at a corporate retreat five years ago made by design chief Jony Ive. The video depicted a man in a London taxi wearing an augmented reality headset calling his wife in San Francisco, sharing the sights of London through the husband’s eyes.
The New York Times reaffirmed previous reports that the headset will feature a carbon fiber frame, a hip-mounted battery, outward-facing cameras, two 4K displays, prescription lenses for wearers of glasses, and a “reality dial” to increase or decrease real-time video pass-through from the surrounding environment.
Apple has focused on ensuring that the device excels at videoconferencing and time spent as virtual avatars, calling the headset’s main application “copresence.” There will also be custom high-resolution TV content from Hollywood filmmakers including Jon Favreau. Despite similarities with Meta’s headsets and the “metaverse,” Apple is expected to pitch the device as something that differs from existing offerings.
The device will also offer tools for artists, designers, and engineers, enabling drawing and image editing in 3D space. There will also be applications for editing virtual reality video using hand gestures. As a result, it is expected to appeal to businesses and design companies more than ordinary consumers. Some employees have allegedly speculated that Apple could again delay the headset’s launch, even though manufacturing is now underway for an unveiling in June.

Sony’s concerned Call of Duty will be worse on PlayStation if Microsoft buys Activision
Sony has laid out more concerns about Microsoft’s planned takeover of Activision Blizzard in its latest response to the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). Sony has opposed the deal from the start. Now, it’s suggesting that Microsoft could (perhaps unintentionally) kneecap the performance and quality of Call of Duty on PlayStation, which might result in fans switching to Xbox.
“Microsoft might release a PlayStation version of Call of Duty where bugs and errors emerge only on the game’s final level or after later updates,” the letter (PDF) reads. “Even if such degradations could be swiftly detected, any remedy would likely come too late, by which time the gaming community would have lost confidence in PlayStation as a go-to venue to play Call of Duty. Indeed, as Modern Warfare II attests, Call of Duty is most often purchased in just the first few weeks of release. If it became known that the game’s performance on PlayStation was worse than on Xbox, Call of Duty gamers could decide to switch to Xbox, for fear of playing their favourite game at a second-class or less competitive venue.”
Sony claims there wouldn’t be a viable way for it or the CMA to assess how “Microsoft chooses to allocate its resources and the quality/quantity of engineers it devotes to the PlayStation version of Call of Duty to ensure that SIE would be treated fairly and equally.” Degrading the quality of Call of Duty on PlayStation, intentionally or not, perhaps wouldn’t be the wisest course of action, as The Verge points out. A buggy Call of Duty release on PlayStation would probably lead to a bigger backlash against Microsoft and Activision than Sony.
In any case, Microsoft noted in its latest response to the CMA (PDF) that it has offered to “provide Sony with parity on release date, content, features, upgrades, quality and playability with the Xbox platform.” That is, if Sony accepts Microsoft’s proposed 10-year agreement to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation. Microsoft would be willing to agree to a third-party assessor to oversee the platform parity.
Sony’s letter reiterates its concern that Microsoft would make Call of Duty a Game Pass exclusive and away from PlayStation. Again, that’s something Microsoft has refuted. “As we have said all along: it makes zero business sense to take Call of Duty off of PlayStation,” Microsoft Competition Law Group corporate vice president Rima Alaily recently told Axios.
It will be a while yet before we know for sure whether Microsoft will be allowed to buy Activision Blizzard. The CMA is set to make a final ruling on the deal by April 26th. It has millions of Microsoft and Activision documents, and thousands of emails from the public to take into account, according to Sony. The CMA raised concerns about the deal in February, suggesting it could “harm UK gamers” and lead to a “substantial lessening of competition in gaming consoles.”
Other major regulators have yet to rubberstamp the takeover, including in the US, where the Federal Trade Commission has attempted to block it. However, reports suggest the European Union is set to give the merger the green light following news that Microsoft will bring Call of Duty and other games to Nintendo and GeForce Now platforms.
In case you’re wondering, Microsoft’s letter details how Activision would get Call of Duty games to run on Nintendo Switch, which is much less powerful than PlayStation and Xbox consoles. It would do so “by optimizing the display resolution, in-game texture resolution, reducing the rendering speed (i.e., frames per second) and simplifying advanced rendering techniques (e.g., raytracing, shadow, lighting and antialiasing techniques).” In other words, Activision will have to make some compromises. It remains to be seen how the Switch will handle the mammoth file sizes of recent Call of Duty titles, though lower-res textures will help.
In the meantime, it seems Call of Duty fans have another bizarre crossover coming their way soon. A teaser posted on the series’ Twitter account shows Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and a date of March 21st.
