Ubisoft will reveal more Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Red details in May
With a few well-received games under its belt in recent months, Ubisoft will be looking to keep up its momentum into 2024 and beyond. The publisher may well be gearing up to host an Ubisoft Forward event in May, as that’s when it’s promised to reveal more details about several of its upcoming projects.
In the company’s latest earnings report, it said it will reveal the bulk of its lineup for the 2024-25 fiscal year, which runs through March 2025, in May. It will unveil more details about Star Wars Outlaws and a Japan-set Assassin’s Creed game codenamed “Red,” as well as free-to-play mobile titles The Division Resurgence and Rainbow Six Mobile. The latter will arrive roughly two years than first expected.
Ubisoft previously indicated that Outlaws, which is slated to be a truly open-world Star Wars game, is scheduled to arrive later this year. We can also now expect Assassin’s Creed Red (or whatever its official name is) to drop before April 2025 as well.
Meanwhile, there’s likely to be some news on the XDefiant front soon too. Ubisofot expects “a limited contribution from XDefiant” to its bottom line this quarter, so perhaps that’s when the free-to-play tactical shooter will arrive. Plus, after many, many delays, Ubisoft will at long last release Skull and Bones next week.

Amazon’s plans for a Creed cinematic universe might lead to an anime series
Michael B. Jordan might have been speaking somewhat poetically during Creed III’s shooting when he sat Jonathan Majors down to explain how their live-action boxing film was a lot like a shonen anime. But MGM parent company Amazon might be very serious about wanting to follow up on Creed III’s success with an entire cinematic universe that might include, among other things, a Creed animated series.
Deadline reports that in the wake of Creed III’s monumental $58 million domestic debut, Amazon’s now in very early talks with director / star Michael B. Jordan about a number of potential follow-up projects set in the same universe as the films that would continue the story of Adonis Creed and his family.
While the studio’s yet to lock in on…
Michael B. Jordan Readying ‘Creed’ Film & TV Universe at Amazon
Michael B. Jordan is enjoying a resounding victory after ‘Creed III’ – which he stars in and directed – delivered knockout results at the global box office. And while some would rest on said success, the multi-hyphenate superstar is doing the opposite.
Because various sources have confirmed that Jordan is expanding the ‘Creed’ universe across film and TV on Amazon.

Figmet 2: Creed Valley review: a fun musical adventure a beat behind its predecessor
I really enjoyed the first Figment when it released back in 2017. An action-platformer with a musical theatre twist using the human mind as its stage? Very creative! Bedtime Studios’ follow-up Figment 2: Creed Valley keeps very close to the beat of the first one. You don’t need to have played Figment 1 to enjoy this sequel, but I almost feel like you’d be missing you if you didn’t (especially as it’s free on Steam right now, for today only).
Figment 2 has all the visual flair and catchy sing-songs of the first, but it feels weirdly smaller. Both games will run you about 5 hours each, but Figment 2 is a little less punchy, a little less diverse, and feels more like an encore rather than a dazzling comeback album. That’s not necessarily bad; I love an encore, and I enjoyed seeing more of Figment’s surreal, subconscious mind-world. But, yeah, it’s very much the same as the first game, but with less scope and fewer fart clouds.
