A YOUNG Iranian couple have been sentenced to a decade in jail after a video of them dancing in public was posted online.
The two lovebirds were arrested on November 10 after authorities saw the clips and have since been accused of heinous crimes against the Iranian government.

Astiyazh Haghighi, 21, and Amir Mohammad Ahmadi, 22, were each given 10 and a half years in prison for “corruption on earth and incitement to prostitution”.
The video shows the couple embracing each other, with city buildings glowing in the background.
They then spin before Amir dips Astiyazh in a daring dance move, sharing an adorable moment.
The couple were dancing in Freedom Square, Tehran, as part of the nationwide protests to bring down the ruthless regime.
The online bloggers are also accused of “disrupting national security” by sharing the innocent dancing video.
According to local media, Amir and Astiyazh were arrested on November 1 and beaten by plainclothes officers.
The two were not allowed to have lawyers in their later hearings, and their bail requests were denied.
Their families have reportedly been under pressure not talk about their arrest for fear of being arrested themselves.
Iran has been unforgiving in its crackdown on protests since the September 16 death of 22-year-old Jina Mahsa Amini.
The young woman was arrested by morality police for wearing her hijab “improperly”, and severely beaten in their custody.
She succumbed to her injuries three days after her arrest, sparking the largest and most passionate revolution the Iranian Regime has seen since 1979.
The government’s crackdown on protests has resulted in more than 520 people dead and nearly 20,000 arrested, according to activists.
Four men have been brutally executed since the government began their barbaric torture and arrest techniques last year.
The justice system in Iran has been criticised by human rights groups for forcing confessions and providing “sham trials” to those widely thought to be innocent.
Many protestors continue to post on social media videos of themselves tearing off their head scarves in a direct challenge to the country’s fanatical ruling mullahs.
Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei continues to blame “terrorist-separatist groups” for stoking violence across the country.

A MOM-AND-DAUGHTER duo caught their audience’s attention with a spirited dance session.
But it wasn’t their moves that charmed viewers – it was how young both women looked.
Alexann Plante and her mom participated in a viral TikTok dance[/caption]
Viewers were impressed by how young both the moms looked[/caption]
At 30, young mom Alexann Plante (@alexann_plante) is still wise to the world of TikTok trends.
She invited her 49-year-old mom to participate in a viral dance, with both their birth years visible on the screen.
With the year 1992 written in a caption above her, Plante started the camera and kicked off the choreography.
Stepping back, she revealed her mom, with the year 1972 next to her title.
The two took their places and when the music sped up, they hit every beat flawlessly.
In the background, Plante’s own son dashed past – with his birth year, 2020, floating just above his head.
Despite the clear labels, viewers were reluctant to believe the women were the ages they claimed to be.
“You both look young,” one viewer insisted. “I thought your mother was 37 and you were a teenager.”
Several viewers agreed, saying Plante’s mom looked “way too young” to have an adult daughter.
Most agreed the woman looked closer to “19 or 20.”
Some even questioned whether Plante’s toddler was really her son.
“There’s no way you’re 30,” one stubborn commenter wrote.
Across the board, commenters were impressed by both women’s dance moves.
“Mom understood the assignment!” a thrilled fan said.
Another commenter agreed, calling the pair “gorgeous girls.”
EKIN-SU Culculoglu has publicly called for boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti to “come home”.
The Love Island and Dancing on Ice star, 28, shared with her 105K followers on Twitter that she “really misses” her hunky other half.
Ekin-Su has Tweeted about how much she misses Davide[/caption]
Davide, 27, is currently visiting pals in Manchester, a place he referred to as his “home away from home” in a recent post.
Ekin-Su is really busy at the moment as she’s currently taking part in Dancing on Ice, but it seems like she needs her man with her for support.
She wrote on Twitter: “I really miss my man so much.
“Hurry an come home pls”.

It comes after Danicng on Ice was hit with over a hundred complaints over contestant Ekin-Su’s racy pre-watershed catsuit.
The “nude” body stocking was embellished with tiny mirrors to protect her modesty — but it was too little for some.
Telly watchdog Ofcom received 112 complaints about the wardrobe choice.
The Love Island winner defended her skimpy outfits.
She raged: “You know what? If you have ’em flaunt them.
“I mean if you’ve got a nice bum and you look sexy in a unitard, why not. Who cares?”
But the outfit was not enough to save her from the skate off after she got the fewest public votes for her debut with pro partner Brendyn Hatfield, 37.

EKIN-SU Cülcüloğlu has hinted that despite landing in the skate-off of Dancing On Ice, she think she will not be eliminated.
The former Love Island star is so adamant that she will still be in the competition, she wants to arrange tickets for her former castmates to see her skate.
Ekin-Su, 28, failed to impress the Dancing On Ice viewers when she took to the Ice for the first time at the debut episode of the new series.
But despite her seemingly disheartening start, the media personality doesn’t think she will be going anywhere anytime soon.
The star has been flooded with comments from her Love Island co-stars, including Tasha Ghouri.
She wrote to the amateur skater: “Huge good luck tonight!!! You’re going to smash the ice, remember the Leo queen you are, can’t wait to watch and miss you lots.”
And the Homecomings personality replied to her comment by saying she wants to sort out tickets for her, and her boyfriend Andrew Le Page, to see her skate in the future.
She replied: “Aww Tasha this is so sweet … I miss you incredibly. When you’re free I’ll get you and Andrew tickets to the live show.”
The reality TV star recieved a score of 21.5 points on the judges and placed fourth place on the lederboard.
However she received the lowest amount of votes from the public, and as such will face the dreaded skate-off next week.
This comes after Ekin-Su sent Love Island fans wild with a cheeky reference to the show during Dancing On Ice.
There was a sneaky reference to one of her iconic villa moments during her debut routine on the ITV juggernaut.
Eagle-eyed Love Island devotees noticed the 28 year-old crawled across the ice as she performed with partner Brendyn Hatfield.
And fans couldn’t help but notice how it was a nod to her “iconic crawl” from her stint on the ITV2 show.
As viewers will remember, Ekin crawled across the balcony when she went to steal a secret kiss with fellow islander Jay Younger.
She performed the sneaky move at the time to stop Davide Sanclimenti, who she was coupled up with, from seeing her.
Of course, her secret was soon exposed and she and Davide had an explosive confrontation, where he branded her “an actress and a liar”.

Nicola revealed the news as she shared photographs with her bandmates Cheryl Tweedy, 39, Kimberley Walsh, 41, and Nadine Coyle, also 37, at the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.
The singer shared a picture of the group backstage at the BBC with the caption: “When your girls bring you so much Christmas love.
“So nice to have them in the audience at Strictly to support me.
“We’re ending our year with so much gratitude in our hearts as we’ve managed to raise over one million pounds for research into breast cancer – as requested of us by our Electric Girl Sarah.”
