Genshin Impact 3.0 Sumeru’s Release Date, Characters, And Everything We Know
Genshin Impact’s 3.0 update is a big one. Titled The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings, patch 3.0 opens up Sumeru and introduces Genshin’s seventh and final element, Dendro. It’s not strictly new, since Dendro has been around since the beginning of Genshin (some Hilichurl mages are able to use Dendro)–but this marks the first time the Traveler (and by extension, us) will be able to use the element.
Release date
Genshin Impact 3.0 releases August 24. Pre-installation is usually available and will likely go live the day before release, August 23. With pre-installation, players can log-in as soon as the maintenance for the new patch is done.
Patch 3.0 will last five weeks, instead of the usual six weeks.
Diablo 3 Season 27 release date finally gets announced
Blizzard finally gave us the Diablo 3 Season 27 release date in a lengthy new blog post, outlining everything to expect in the RPG’s upcoming content update. Diablo 3 Season 27 begins August 26 at 5 p.m. PDT/8 p.m. EDT and August 27 at 1 a.m. BST. Light’s Calling is the new seasonal theme. It centers around angelic trials the Nephalem can undergo, which in practical terms means you can earn Angelic Crucibles, a new consumable that lets you infuse legendary weapons with a random new class-specific power. Whichever new power you get, expect it to “lean into the expertise of each class,” Blizzard said in the season overview.

Your Steam Deck release date might be sooner than you thought
Valve is taking steps to full its promise that your Steam Deck release date will actually be in 2022, if you placed a pre-order. The Steam maker posted an announcement on Twitter saying they were stepping up the number of Steam Deck orders fulfilled each week once more and reminded anyone with a pre-order to check their email in case it slips through. Valve says it sends Steam Deck emails on Mondays and Thursdays during the morning hours. Make sure to keep an eye on your inboxes, and as Valve recommended previously, check your other folders. Some Steam Deck emails wind up in junk mail, and even though Valve holds the reservation for a few days, it’s not a good position to be in.

MultiVersus Season 1 patch notes confirm Morty release date, Batman and Arya as free playable characters
Multiversus season 1 patch gives Morty release date and nerfs Batman
The Multiversus season 1 patch offers a variety of small and large changes to the free-to-play, crossover PC fighting game, including nerfs for Batman, XP boosts, and new perks. The full patch notes also confirm the release date for Rick and Morty’s Morty, the perfect way to mark today’s Multiversus season 1 release date.
Starting with Multiversus season 1, XP rewards for wins will be boosted from 5 XP to 10, whereas XP rewards for losses will increase from 3 XP to 5. Season 1 missions will also be easier to complete as their requirements have been reduced. Rather than 75, you will now need to ringout a player from the top of the map 50 times, for example, and provide only 50 assists as opposed to 125. The goal here, seemingly, is to kickstart your experience with the full version of Multiversus by giving you plenty of XP and completed objectives.
Batman players, however, may be a little dismayed. The first half of the Multiversus season 1 patch launches August 15, to be shortly followed by a second half “in the next few days”, according to Warner Bros. Games. That second half of the patch will add three recovery frames if Batman misses his ground slide attack, and also create a bigger cooldown window between batarang throws, giving opponents a greater chance to counter. Finn, Iron Giant, and Velma have also received various nerfs, while LeBron has been significantly buffed.
