This Razer Xbox Controller And Charging Dock Bundle Is 60% Off
GameStop is selling Razer’s Xbox controller and charging dock combo for just $80 right now (normally $200). That’s a steep 60% price drop on a new controller and handy accessory that any Xbox player should look into. This set used to be exclusive to Razer’s storefront–where it still sells for $200–but now GameStop carries it, too.
The dock recharges the controller up to full battery in under 3 hours, so it can easily top off your controller’s charge in between play sessions. The dock is equipped with overcharge prevention so your controllers won’t overheat or damage the battery even if you leave it on the stand for long periods.
The included controller is a standard Xbox gamepad, but it features a unique Razer-themed black and green design with a partially transparent case. Like other Xbox gamepads, the controller works on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows. It also supports Bluetooth connections, so it can work on Mac, Android, and iOS, which is helpful for cloud streaming games with Game Pass Ultimate . It attaches to the charging dock via magnetic connectors on the back.
Microsoft’s $300 Thunderbolt 4 dock is low-key a dream MacBook Air accessory
Microsoft’s Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock is a high-speed laptop and tablet hub
Microsoft is no stranger to making elaborate laptop docks, but its latest may be particularly appealing if you need a genuinely robust hub for work. The company has unveiled a Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock that, as the name implies, uses speedy Thunderbolt 4 (and hence USB 4) to connect your laptop or tablet to all your peripherals. There’s enough bandwidth to connect two 4K monitors at 60Hz, as well as 96W of power that’s enough to recharge some demanding portable PCs.
The dock offers a healthy mix of modern and legacy ports, plus a few helpful design touches. You’ll find two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack and 2.5Gbps Ethernet on the back, but you’ll also find one USB-C and one USB-A port on the front — it shouldn’t be awkward to plug in a thumb drive or phone. Tactile indicators on the back make it easier for people of various abilities to find ports by feel, while the 20 percent ocean-bound plastic reduces the environmental impact.
Before you ask: while the dock is designed with the Surface Laptop 5, Surface Laptop Studio and Intel-based Surface Pro 9 in mind, that’s not a strict requirement. Any computer with Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 ports should work. You could attach a MacBook Pro, if you’re feeling ironic.
The Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock is available today on Microsoft’s store for $300. That’s considerably more expensive than many laptop docks, and you may wish it had features like a full-size SD card reader. The price is on par with similarly powerful docks, though, and it may be worthwhile if you’d rather not spend valuable minutes plugging in peripherals when you sit at your desk.

Zipline Unveils P2 Delivery Drones That Dock and Recharge Autonomously
To deliver cargo to a customer’s door, the P2 Zip hovers around 300 feet above ground level and dispatches a kind of mini-aircraft and container called the “droid.” The droid descends on a long thin tether, and maneuvers quietly into place with fan-like thrusters before setting down for package retrieval. Zipline’s original P1 drones will remain in production and in wide use, says Rinaudo Cliffton. The P1 Zip can fly a longer distance, delivering up to five pounds of cargo within a 60-mile radius, but it requires a larger space for take off, landings and “the drop.”
The P1 Zip lets cargo down with a parachute attached, so its payload lands within a space about the size of two car parking spots. After a P1 Zip returns to base, an employee needs to disassemble it, then set up a new one, dropping in a freshly charged battery for the next flight. Zipline’s new P2 Zip can dock and power up autonomously at a charging station that looks something like a street lamp with an arm and a large disc attached to that arm. Zipline docks can be installed in a single parking spot or alongside a building depending on zoning and permits.

Video: Testing OWC’s Thunderbolt 4 Dock With Built-In Power Supply
If you’ve used a Thunderbolt 4 dock, you know that most of them require a separate power supply to operate peripheral devices and provide passthrough charging. They’re often much more inconvenient than a bus-powered dock because of the bulk and the extra cable component.
The OWC Thunderbolt Go Dock’s power supply is included in the dock enclosure, so it’s an all-in-one device that does not require you to have an extra power brick. That functionality is useful at home, but also on the go if you need to work while traveling or away from your house. Note that you still need a power cable as the dock has to be plugged in, but it uses a single cord that plugs directly into the dock rather than into a separate power brick.
There are a total of 11 ports, including three Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB-C ports, three USB-A ports, an HDMI port, an Ethernet port (2.5 Gbps), an SD card reader, and an audio jack. The dock offers 90W of pass-through charging, so it’s suitable for all of Apple’s MacBooks. The only downside is the price, which is $349.
That’s not too outrageous for a Thunderbolt 4 dock given the built-in power supply and the number of ports, but there are cheaper Thunderbolt 4 options out there for those who don’t need this functionality, and it is not as full-featured as some competing docks at a similar price. This particular dock is best for those who need something that’s convenient for use in multiple locations given its portability.
