I’m a royal expert – Meghan Markle ‘snubbed’ King Charles on coronation and thinks she doesn’t need royals anymore
MEGHAN Markle snubbed King Charles on the day of his coronation and thinks she doesn’t need the royals anymore, says a royal expert.
On the day of the first coronation in 70 years, Meghan, 41, stayed at home in the US while Harry, 38, travelled solo to support his dad.

Harry smiled as he made his way to Heathrow after the ceremony[/caption]
The ceremony fell on the same day as the royal couple’s son Archie‘s fourth birthday – and is understood to be the reason Meghan decided against making an appearance.
However, a royal author has since said she “felt sorry for Harry” having to show up on his own since Meghan was happy to “snub” the Firm.
Angela Levin told The Sun Online: “Of course it is a snub.
“It’s saying ‘I don’t need you anymore now that I’ve gotten what I want’.
“It’s outrageous. Meghan has got no sense of what is polite anymore.
“Does she think she’s bigger than the monarchy now?”
The coronation was the first time Harry had been with his family since the bombshells were dropped.
He jetted in from California on his own making a whirlwind visit before returning back to his family in the US.
In the UK for around 24 hours, Harry left the ceremony at Westminster Abbey and headed straight for Heathrow.
Angela told how Harry was made to look “vulnerable” walking into the church by himself adding he was clearly “self-conscious”.
She said: “I felt very sorry for Harry. I thought that it was tragic that a man so vulnerable would have to walk alone down the aisle in the cathedral while everyone else had their partners.
“I thought that it would have been very difficult for him.
“It was clear he was quite self-conscious. He had to pretend everything was ok when its not.
“I’ve spent a lot of time with him so I know what he’s like and he was nervous.
“Yes, he smiled at people and said good morning but you could tell just looking at his hands that he wasn’t having an enjoyable time.
“He was all clenched up – you could see the tension.”
TENSE REUNION
Angela said the lack of time Harry took to congratulate Charles shows any positive change to the relationship is a “very long way away”.
She added: “Then hearing that he went straight to Heathrow was extremely sad.
“He had no time to say congratulations to his father.
“It shows he is a very long way away from building back up any family relationships.
“It doesn’t look as if he had any time with Charles or William. At most it could have been a few minutes.
“He flew in yesterday when we saw all of the royals on walkabouts so he wasn’t with them then clearly.
“And last night and this morning will have been filled with prep for the big day.
“The strength of how far apart the family are means that they can’t just throw a plaster on it and have everything be ok.
“It can’t have been sorted out in minute – they need days and weeks of sitting down and getting it all out.
“I don’t think we will be seeing Harry in Britain again for quite some time.”
Harry smiled and appeared happy throughout the two-hour ceremony, before making a swift exit as the King and Queen clambered into the Gold State Coach.
Following Harry’s exit, over 4,000 troops from across the three Armed Forces took off for the biggest military procession since 1952.
The service had ancient traditions – some dating back to 1065 – and saw Charles anointed and crowned with the 1661 St Edward’s crown.
The service finished at 1pm and the royals set off on a 1.4 mile procession back to Buckingham Palace which included the 4,000 troops.
The procession ended with a “three cheers” for the King and Queen by the five household regiments on Buckingham Palace’s lawns.
The Royal Family then made their way to the famous Buckingham Palace balcony where they were greeted to rapturous applause from the thousands of fans who had gathered on The Mall.
Charles, 74, is the first king to be crowned in Britain since his grandfather King George VI on May 12, 1937.

Royal experts have “no doubt” the future coronation of Kate and Wills would have been on the couple’s mind[/caption]
The lavish red, white and blue robe with a glimmering headpiece of silver leaves, stunned onlookers as Kate took her seat at the front of the Royal Family section.
And tributes were paid to Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth with her stunning jewellery choices.
She wore Diana’s pearl and diamond earrings as well as the George VI Festoon Necklace.
Her graceful appearance sparked talks about her stepping up as the future queen, with many royal fans claiming they can’t wait to see her in the reigning role.
Royal expert, Angela Levin, spoke to The Sun Online about her thoughts on Kate and said: “This is all just very natural to her now.
“She has studied exactly what people need from her and she executes that beautifully.
“She watched all the senior royals before her very carefully and knows exactly how to act.
“She takes things seriously and does her very best – and that is exactly what you want of a future queen.”
The source claimed the Princess is “preparing beautifully for her turn”.
Kate’s family support was also attributed to the grace and success she displays in her current role.
Angela Levin added: “She has the benefit of coming from a loving stable family and you can see she has taken a leaf out of her parent’s book in dealing with her children.
“Little Louis who messed about last year – it makes you think what a difference a year makes.
“He was brilliant.
“And giving Charlotte the responsibility of bringing him into the Abbey and holding hands was lovely.
“She brings up her kids to be so well behaved – but still allows them to be children.”
Another royal insider, Richard Fitzwilliams, shared his thoughts and explained: “She looked excellent and handled the pressures of the day wonderfully.
“She was poised every single step of the way which is not an easy feat while towing two small children.
“She is most definitely setting the ground work for her future as King.”
The Royal Commentator believed the next coronation, of William and herself, would “no doubt” have been on her mind today.
He added the royal couple have showed an “exemplary handling of their current position” which has put them in “fantastic standings” future.
“And of course what they are doing is very, very difficult when you have a couple like Meghan and Harry launching attack after attack,” he shared.
“The Sussexes are trying to convince young people that the institution is out of touch.
“But Kate and William are reeling these lies back in.”
This morning Charles and Camilla arrived at Westminster Abbey following a spectacular 1.42 mile journey in the air-conditioned Diamond Jubilee state coach, built in 2012.
They left Buckingham Palace with the Sovereign’s Escort of the Household Cavalry, before passing a guard of honour of around 160 members of the three armed services.
The reigning couple were flanked by over 1,000 members of the Armed Forces before passing a 100-strong guard from the Royal British Legion in Parliament Square.
The approximately two hour ceremony included ancient traditions – some dating back to 1065 – and saw Charles anointed and crowned with the 1661 St Edward’s crown.
The service ended at around 1pm before the royals set off on a 1.4 mile procession back to Buckingham Palace.

I’m an expert mechanic – common MOT scams could be costing you thousands… what to watch out for
AN EXPERT mechanic has revealed the most common MOT scams that could be costing you thousands of pounds.
There are some rogue mechanics out there who may be exaggerating the severity of your vehicles “problems”.
An expert mechanic revealed the most common MOT scams that could be costing you thousands[/caption]
There are a number of services that mechanics may seem are urgent in a bid to scam and overcharge customers.
Former mechanic Steve Larsson told the John O’Groat Journal: “It’s important to be aware of rogue mechanics who may try to take advantage of customers by exaggerating the severity of problems and recommending unnecessary repairs.
“It’s always a good idea to get a second opinion if you’re unsure about a repair, and to choose a reputable mechanic or garage with a good reputation and industry certifications.
The first repair service on Steve’s list is wear on brake pads.
You can usually tell is your brake pads are worn if you experience screeching while braking, heavy vibrating or your car pulling to one side as you press down on the brake pedal – according to the RAC.
The second most common “unnecessary repair” is misalignment of wheels.
Although this can sometimes be used to con people out of money while at the mechanics, they should be mindful that if their wheels are misaligned this can lead to uneven tire wear and shorter tire life.
The expert also mentioned engine flushes, fuel system cleaning and transmission fluid changes as potential services which some dodgy mechanics may make seem more urgent than they actually are.
This comes after one more expert mechanic revealed the top three car repair scams that being aware of could save you thousands of pounds,
TikTok user @kingregis claims that just because you have a flat tyre, it doesn’t always mean it needs to be replaced.
He said: “Depending on where the nail or puncture is located, you could easily get it plugged instead of replacing the entire tyre – which is a quarter of the cost.
Another motors expert said he made more than £1,500 by repairing a damaged car and selling it online.
The man bought the car relatively cheaply as it had quite severe damage to the passenger door – then took to social media to show users how he earned the big bucks by repairing it and selling it on in just a few days.
TikTok user @cartradeuk1 bought a (Cat S) Nissan Juke for £4,950 and was able to repair the damaged door for £600.
In just five days, he managed to sell the car for a whopping £7,000.
And another motors expert revealed the features that will make your car more valuable when you come to sell it.
The most-wanted car features of 2023, based on filtered searches made by vehicle buyers, are Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality.
Searches for cars with the smartphone-mirroring tech were 61% and 49% higher on the Cinch car website in January 2023 than in August 2022.
