After reappearing in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Virtua Fighter may be getting a reboot – report
If you’re someone with a taste for Virtua Fighter, but are kind of sick about having to boot up Yakuza or Like a Dragon to play modern ports of the series, some good news may be in the pipeline. According to a leaker who has made some accurate predictions in the past, a Virtua Fighter reboot may be in the works.
Now, as with all news surrounding leaks, this should be taken with a grain of salt. However if this Virtua Fighter leak courtesy of MbKKssTBhz5 on Twitter is accurate, then it could mean a fresh lease on life for one of the fighting game genre’s oldest franchises. One seperate from the hip of excellent games like Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
The leaker elaborates on their claims in a follow-up tweet: “This is a reboot that is not in development by RGG Studio. It is being developed by staff from latest Virtua Fighter games. There are single player and multiplayer elements that are targeting casual and core players including competitive players.”
“Taylor Swift” AKA Saylor Twist Is A Robot-Killing Fighter In This Indie Shooter
Today in legally-distinct depictions of pop culture figures, indie shooter RoboSquad Revolution has introduced a new character called Saylor Twist to its game, who may or may not resemble a certain incredibly popular Grammy-winning, world-touring American pop star.
Miss Twist joins the cast of RoboSquad wearing her partner Trevon Celcius’s number 87 jersey, along with a white beanie, and various robot parts to match the game’s themeing. RoboSquad developer Zorans Resistance hasn’t said whether Celcius might be added at some point to join Twist in game.
RoboSquad Revolution is a free-to-play arena shooter that launched last year into early access on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Players take on the role of a robot revolutionary, fighting against the human-led Zoran Task Force.
Street Fighter 6 tier list May 2023 – best characters
Want to know who is at the top of the Street Fighter 6 tier list? With a sizable roster coming and more characters arriving on the scene after release, it’s time to rank them in order of who will most consistently be the best pick as the champion of World Warriors.
Right now, this list comes with a big caveat. Given that only eight characters of the 16 are available in the fighting game’s full release and will be available during the Street Fighter 6 beta, we can only judge which of those members of the Street Fighter 6 roster are worth playing. Naturally, this will be an ever-evolving list as we get to grips with each character.

Street Fighter 6 roster – every confirmed character
Want to know who made it onto the Street Fighter 6 roster? Looking back to older games in the series, Street Fighter 4 launched with 25 characters, but the lacklustre Street Fighter 5 featured just 16 characters on day one. Capcom appears to be learning from its past mistakes with Street Fighter 6’s roster, bringing a mix of fan favourites, revamped returning characters, and new fighters.
While the Street Fighter 6 release date is pencilled in for June 2023, there’s still plenty of time for the devs to reveal a few more surprises to the roster. In the Street Fighter 6 showcase, Capcom announced the Year 1 Character Pass contains four characters, one new and three returning fighters. The Street Fighter 6 roster features 18 characters at launch.

Street Fighter 6 release date, open beta times, and more
Want to learn more about the Street Fighter 6 release date? The next evolution of the Street Fighter series is almost here, focusing heavily on single-player elements to ensure there’s plenty of content for every level of fighter. Street Fighter 5 was heavily criticised at launch for its lack of playable content outside of versus mode and while this satisfied most high-level players, casual players found there was very little to keep them entertained.
Capcom has taken its time developing Street Fighter 6 to ensure they don’t repeat the same mistakes again. It features a brand new single-player story mode which gives players a chance to explore Metro City as a custom fighter. Street Fighter 6 is shaping up to become one of the best fighting games and potentially one of the best PC games overall. The Street Fighter 6 release date has been officially confirmed for Q2 2022.
