Ultra-long YouTube highlight videos are ruining sports — and I’m fine with that
A few months ago, I discovered a new genre of YouTube video. It’s called the “extended highlight,” and it typically takes the form of a video somewhere between eight and 18 minutes long, with rapid-fire jump cuts between all the most important parts of a game.
Since I embraced the glory of the extended highlight, I feel like I’ve watched more sports than ever. I’ve seen every Arsenal goal and almost-goal, every cool Steph Curry shot for the Warriors, every Daniel Jones run for the Giants, every Aaron Judge strikeout or home run for the Yankees. But I rarely, if ever, sit and watch a game. I used to! But why would I now? All the good parts are right there on YouTube a few hours later.
Much has been made over the last decade about how…

Cindy Montes (@cindinero77), a fitness influencer, shared her method for her glow-up in a video with her TikTok followers.
At 21 years old, the gym enthusiast shared that she incorporated boxing, pure cardio, and a low-carb diet into her lifestyle.
She shared a photo of herself wearing a red dress, showing off her figure.
A decade later, the influencer sported the same red dress but with a much more voluptuous figure.
She revealed that her new routine includes weightlifting, a high-protein diet, and most importantly, loving herself.

People took to the comments to share their thoughts: “Doing all the good girl!!” said one commenter.
“You aged gracefully beautiful don’t change a thing baby girl,” said another.
“Solid,” said a third.
“Damn right about that,” encouraged a fourth.
“I need you in my life,” joked a fifth admirer.

I dressed my mom like me in a crop top and cut-out pants – people say she’s ‘fine as hell’
Move over Stacy, the song is about Isabella’s mom now.
A woman dressed up her mom in her clothes and people have their jaws on the ground.
Isabella (@isafromtexas), styled her mom in a video shared with her TikTok followers.
Her mom, styled in an outfit that she would normally wear, strutted out in a cream sweater and jeans.
She turn, exited, and returned with a bang, sauntering back in sporting a cut-out black top that showed off plenty of cleavage and yoga pants.
Isabella thought her mom ate up the challenge: “She is HER!!!!” she said, adding the hashtag #hotmom.
Other people seemed to agree: “I was not expecting her to come out like that,” said one commenter, adding fire emojis.
“This is the best one yet,” said another commenter, impressed with the two’s style.
“Mom is fine as hell,” said a third.
“She was made for this trend,” said a fourth.
Some inquired about the outfit — they thought the revealing garment was underwear.
“Is that a backwards thong?” one viewer asked.
“Girl no, it’s pants with cut out hips,” Isabella replied.

Best printer 2023: just buy this Brother laser printer everyone has, it’s fine
Here’s the best printer in 2023: the Brother laser printer that everyone has. Stop thinking about it and just buy one. It will be fine!
Seriously, ask around or just look in the background of Zoom calls: there’s a black Brother laser printer sitting there. Some people have the bare-bones Brother HL-L2305DW, which costs like $120. We have the $270 Brother MFC-L2750DW, which adds a sheet-fed scanner, because my wife is a lawyer and scans things for judges or whatever she does with it. It doesn’t matter. We only bought that one to replace our previous Brother laser printer that we lost in a move, and even then, I didn’t even look at the model numbers. It has been connected to our Wi-Fi for like six years straight, and I have never replaced…
