Tekken 7 has a substantial cheating problem – can Bandai Namco fix it in time for Tekken 8?
Tekken 7 has a substantial cheating problem, and it’s been a major blemish on an otherwise excellent fighter ever since it was released back in 2015. With the tease of a new Tekken project shown off during Evo, and the transition from this fan-favourite 3D brawler to something fresh in the foreseeable future, there’s a substantial worry that Tekken 7 will be left in the lurch forever.
To find out as much about the cheating situation in Tekken 7, we reached out to professional players, content creators, and ordinary Tekken enthusiasts to learn their experiences with the online experience, what forms of cheating are present, and how they hope future instalments of Tekken will battle these issues.
To start, it’s important to break down what ‘cheating’ actually means in the context of Tekken 7. When most people think of cheats in modern multiplayer titles, they think of exterior programs that provide a distinct advantage over other players with the most infamous examples being aimbots and wall hacks in FPS titles.

Microsoft Finalizes Plans To Fix Unfair Licensing in EU
In May 2022, Microsoft finally came up with a response, announcing that it would make it less expensive for customers to run Microsoft software like Windows, Windows Server, Office, and SQL Server on non-Microsoft cloud platforms in the EU. But it wasn’t until today that the software giant announced the details and timing of this plan. Now, Microsoft says that it will implement “major revisions and upgrades to its outsourcing and hosting terms” that go into effect on October 1, 2022. It will be easier and more cost-effective for customers to use Microsoft software on competing cloud platforms, it says, and for its partners to build hosted desktop and server solutions that meet their customers’ needs.

Here’s how much Apple charges for every part to fix your own MacBook
Yesterday, Apple revealed it would expand its Self Service Repair program to let you fix your own MacBooks, and today the program is here. You can now download full repair manuals for your 2021 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros and the 2020 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro and M1 MacBook Air — and shop for parts you might need.
But what will Apple actually let you buy, and how much will you really have to pay? That’s not obvious until you enter your serial numbers and root around the company’s entire store — so we did it for you.
Many prices seem (relatively) generous! Others, not so much. You can’t just replace your own battery or keyboard on a MacBook Pro, for example! You have to buy the entire top lid that comes with that and other parts…
Huge World of Warcraft Auction House bug fix will take “2-3 days”
A game-breaking World of Warcraft auction house bug is leaving players unable to buy or sell items in the Blizzard MMORPG. The game-breaking issue has caused woes for many players who have reported losing hundreds of thousands of in-game gold when the auction house automatically purchased multiples of items, or in the reverse case are unable to buy items despite the auction house reporting that there are thousands available for sale.
World of Warcraft community manager Kaivax has responded to multiple forum posts clamouring for assistance, acknowledging the issue. “We’re aware of a bug that is causing some items to get stuck in invalid listings,” Kaivax says, “This is a priority for us to fix, however, we expect the fix to take 2-3 more days. We’ll let you know as soon as the fix is deployed.”
Responses to the thread have been a mixture of relief that the issue has been publicly acknowledged and despair that nothing was said about it for almost four days, with the first issues cropping up early in the week. Some fans also ask whether Blizzard will be doing anything to resolve the damage that has been dealt to the game’s economy and progression systems during the last week.
