Navy JAG Denies Major FOIA Appeal Further Solidifying UFO/UAP Secrecy – The Black Vault
“Transparency is quickly vanishing, and those touting the Disclosure line sadly are wildly wrong.” So John Greenewald sums up his latest FOIA defeat. An appeal John had made to a denial of UFO videos was itself rejected, and he details the process and why it failed. John’s not sure what he’ll do next. Against the context of other setbacks, and a seeming current apathy about the tardiness of the report to Congress, this is a disturbing trend. If that doesn’t depress, try Mick West’s The Military-UFO Complex. Mick’s subheading: “How a motley crew of saucer hunters got a place at the public trough.” The piece is a concise and fairly accurate though bias-tinged rundown of events since Robert Bigelow purchased Skinwalker Ranch, with conclusions that are arguable but have some substance. Then there’s Charles Lear’s series Behind the Scenes of UFO Cover-up? Live!, on the machinations of Richard Doty and William Moore. The October 25th episode sets the stage with the Paul Bennewitz tragedy. Subsequent installments Part 2 and Part 3 continue the story and include the “Majestic-12 Papers” fiasco. The “Aviary” is also introduced and will be the subject of Lear’s next in the sequence. Important but again somewhat unsettling ufological history. (WM)
