Jackbox 9 is now available in French, Italian, German, and two types of Spanish
Jackbox Games has released a free update that localizes the games in its Party Pack 9 bundle. That means that party games like Fibbage 4, Roomerang, and Quixort are now available in French, Italian, German, Latin American Spanish, and Castilian Spanish.
The translations cover pretty much every aspect of the games, from the intro videos and songs playing in the credits to the actual content of the games themselves. In a post on Monday, the company writes that it chose which translations to focus on based on “existing demand.”
It’s not the company’s first run at localizing the content of its party games. In 2020 and 2021, it released versions of Quiplash 2 and Drawful 2 with extra languages, and the 2022 Jackbox Party Starter includes…

‘GERMAN SHEPHERD’ SPECTRE Seen At Former WWII German SS Post in Poland
A Polish eyewitness recalls an incident in which he observed a ‘transparent dog’ running towards him. This location was a former German SS post during WWII which included German Shepherds.
I recently received the following account:
“Hello, Lon,
As I am a foreigner, let me start with the obligatory “sorry for my bad English.”
In my home village (eastern part of Poland) there is an outdoor stage in the local park and in front of that scene is sloped terrain along which two rows of wooden benches are placed. About 4-5 years ago in the autumn I was sitting on a bench at the very top (the last row), to my left were buildings – an abandoned small manor and the local elementary school. To my right were bushes, a part of not well-maintained terrain, which ends by a river’s edge.
It was rather in the evening, and the only source of light was a street lamp located next to the stage, so not much of it was reaching the top row. Suddenly in the corner of my right eye, I caught a movement, so I looked toward the bushes and saw a running dog. The thing is that the dog was a spectre, you could see through it. I twitched in fear as the transparent dog was running towards me, but then it suddenly disappeared. It looked like many ghosts in photos – pale and translucent
The dog was rather furry, could be a long coat German Shepherd. During World War II the now-empty building served as an SS post, so the dog’s breed would fit that period for sure. I know I saw it and the story is my very own experience, which I will remember for life.
I truly enjoy following your website, keep up the great work. The story above is not my only experience, but the most memorable one for sure.
Stay safe, M“

German Bionic debuts its lightest powered exosuit to date at CES 2023
German Bionic, the robotic exoskeleton startup behind the Cray X, will be showing off two new posture-protecting products at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada this week. The Apogee is the company’s latest and lightest powered exosuit built for commercial and industrial use while the Smart SafetyVest will “bring ergonomic monitoring and protection to every worker,” per a Monday release.
The Apogee builds from the lessons learned in developing the Cray X, resulting in German Bionic’s lightest exosuit to date. Despite the litheness, it can offset up to 66 pounds of load to the user’s lower back per lifting motion and offers active walking assistance to reduce fatigue. The SafetyVest, on the other hand, doesn’t actively help the user pick up heavy stuff but it does monitor their movements and body positioning as they work and offers “data-based, personalized ergonomic insights, as well as assessments and recommended actions.”
Both the Apogee and SafetyVest rely on the German Bionic IO architecture to collect, monitor, analyze and report the user’s ergonomic data back to them. This is done typically either through the onboard display or via audible alerts when the user is actively making unsafe movements.
“With our new wearables, we are empowering hard-working people with the tools they need to do their jobs more safely and sustainably,” Norma Steller, CPO of German Bionic, said in the release. “Both our new ergonomic wearables – Apogee and Smart SafetyVest – as well as our award-winning Cray X exoskeleton enable us to provide the right support for just about any company or work environment where manual work is performed. And with the German Bionic IO data platform, we also deliver a powerful analytics tool for workplace ergonomics and processes.”
Details are still sparse ahead of the show but German Bionic will be exhibiting its wares at CES, booth #7141 in the West Hall if you’re attending in person. If not, no worries, Engadget will have full coverage of the show floor with hands-on reviews, videos and news throughout the week — stay tuned!
