I’m a wedding guest – I did a 6-step selfcare routine the night before my friend’s ceremony – but people say I’m crazy
GETTING married can be stressful – there is a lot to get organized before the big day whether you are the bride or not.
However, even being a guest at a wedding was enough to get one woman psyched and organized before the big day with a six-step regime, but she was labeled crazy for being so prepared.
Miyaeva Renae was attending a wedding and wanted to make sure she looked her best.
So the night before she posted a video of herself indulging in a detailed self-care routine to help ensure she was glowing when she arrived.
That included looking after her hair, skin, and teeth.
Here are six of the steps Miyaeva took to prepare for her friend’s big day.

1. Scalp massage
Miyaeva treated herself to a scalp massage using a tool that both boosts scalp health and offers a relaxing experience.
A similar one can be found for about $9 at Ulta, which features a massager that is ideal for all hair types.
2. Charcoal Toothpaste
Miyaeva then focused on her smile, ensuring it would be radiant for all of the photos that would be taken.
She used a whitening activated charcoal toothpaste from Moon. It retails for about $8.50 on Amazon.

The product contains essential oils, coconut, cranberry, and tea tree and does not have parabens or artificial flavors.
She followed that up with Moon’s Stain Prevention Teeth Wipes which retail for about $12.99 for a pack of 10 on Amazon.
The same brand makes a similar tooth whitening pen in conjunction with Kendall Jenner.
3. LED Tooth Whitening Kit
The wedding guest then used an LED tooth whitening kit to continue brightening her teeth.
There are many of these available on the markets and we found some that range anywhere from $49 to $149.
The kits come with professional whitening gel and a powerful blue LED light that accelerates the whitening process to give you a brighter smile faster.
4. Eyelash Foam Cleanser
Next, Miyaeva took care of her eyelash extensions.
She cleaned them and brushed them using a kit that she purchased from Amazon.
The kit, which included a brush, a lash shampoo, and a cleanser, retails for about $16.10.
The product description says it offers a deep cleanse and nourishing ingredients.
5. Brow Razor
Miyaeva then moved on to her eyebrows to make sure they were in perfect shape.
She started by plucking away stray hairs using a pair of tweezers, before using an eyebrow razor to get rid of unsightly strays.
A similar razor to the one she used is available in a Tinkle 3-pack, also from Amazon retailing for a steal at $3.60.
6. Cleanse, Exfoliate and Tone
She then made sure to get her skin in good shape for the big day by using e.l.f. makeup remover wipes, listed at $3.20.
She also used a good exfoliator and toner to complete her regime.
Some TikTokers were confused thinking Miyaeva was the bride, due to how extensive her routine is, but she clarified in the comments that her best friend was the bride.
“girl u made it sound like it was UR wedding,” someone wrote.
“the skincare routine costs more then me,” another commented.
I really hope Street Fighter 6 doesn’t get any guest characters
It is honestly a really good time to be a fan of fighting games. Guilty Gear is good, there’s a new Smash alternative in Multiversus, there’s probably a new Netherrealm game on the horizon, there’s definitely a new Tekken coming, and Street Fighter 6 is well and truly on the way, in the thick of what’ll presumably be a relentless promotion cycle over the next nine months or so.
There’s a lot of reasons to be excited for Street Fighter 6 in particular, too. For starters, Capcom’s fighting game unit is under new management, and the core creatives in charge of SF6 are the same guys who dragged Street Fighter 5 out of the gutter and ultimately made it a high quality and shockingly well-balanced game in its final seasons. It also looks really nice – in my opinion the best-looking 3D Street Fighter to date – thanks to both shrewd art direction and Capcom’s brilliant RE Engine technology.
But one other thing I’m excited about based on what we know of the game so far is that it appears to be continuing a Street Fighter tradition – ducking the modern fighting game trend of guest characters.
