The more we hear about Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special, the more hyped we are for it. We already know it centers on Poison Ivy getting such a big O from Harls that it unleashes a wave of pheromones that makes all of Gotham horny, which legit is the perfect unhinged plot twist for a holiday…
February is right around the corner, and a new month means a whole bunch of new content coming to HBO Max. Some of that content will be available on February 1, while other shows and movies will be available a little later next month.
On February 8, Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm comes to HBO Max. The 2022 movie follows the iconic trio (sorry, Carl) of Adult Swim characters on a new adventure as they split up and then get back together to fight the monolithic corporation, Amazin, led by tech mogul, Neil (voiced by Peter Serafinowicz) and his trusty scientist sidekick, Elmer (Paul Walter Hauser). Check out the trailer below.
Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special comes to HBO Max on February 9. Harley Quinn Season 3 was all about Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy navigating the early stages of a relationship when both brought so much baggage with them. A synopsis for the special reads: “As Harley goes to obsessive lengths to ensure that her first Valentine’s Day with Ivy is the best ever, Bane’s efforts to impress an unexpected date go horribly awry. Meanwhile, after an unfortunate online dating encounter, Clayface engages in some self-love.” The special will play fast and loose with DC Canon, so if you’re in the mood for love and to not take it too seriously, the Valentine’s Day one-off should be a good change of pace.
HBO Max has released a trailer for the upcoming Harley Quinn Valentine’s Day special, giving us a look at Harley and Poison Ivy’s romantic plans getting thoroughly derailed by an excellent railing. They clearly don’t have the same sexual hangups as Batman.
Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special follows Harley and Ivy’s first Valentine’s Day as a couple, with the duo’s relationship still going strong by the end of season 3. While Ivy is content keeping the celebrations low-key, Harley is thrilled at the opportunity to do “cheesy shit” with her girlfriend, and determined to make it “the best VD ever!”
This apparently involves making Ivy orgasm so hard that she loses control of her powers and makes everyone start fornicating in the streets.
“Oh, you can’t possibly be mad at me for getting you off too good,” Harley says in her own defence. “That is not a thing!”
Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special premieres Feb. 9 on HBO Max.
Unlike the oral sex-averse Gothamites of DC’s mainline comic books, the animated deviants over on HBO Max’s Harley Quinn series will go down in history as being some of the horniest takes on characters like Batman, Kite Man (hell yeah), and Poison Ivy. Usually, the show’s found really thoughtful ways to dig into the sex lives of its heroes and villains while revealing interesting things about them. But from the looks of Harley Quinn’s upcoming Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special, it seems like everyone’s going to be getting it on for the most comic book-y reason possible: superpowers gone haywire.
By the end of Harley Quinn’s third season, Harley (Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) had made it through their first major rough…
We still don’t have a release date for Harley Quinn Season 4, but that’s okay–HBO Max has something to sate our appetites for a little while, and we have a brand new trailer and a release date. Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special will premiere on HBO Max on February 9.
Harley Quinn Season 3 was all about Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy navigating the early stages of a relationship when both brought so much baggage with them. The two seem more stable now, though, and it’s time for them to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
“As Harley goes to obsessive lengths to ensure that her first Valentine’s Day with Ivy is the best ever, Bane’s efforts to impress an unexpected date go horribly awry,” reads the official synopsis for the special. “Meanwhile, after an unfortunate online dating encounter, Clayface engages in some self-love.”
Harley Quinn Season 4 is still a long way off, but we’ll get a dose of our favorite villain/superhero/licensed psychiatrist/clown sooner than we expected: Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special is headed to HBO Max next year.
Set to debut in February 2023, “the special will feature Harley and Ivy celebrating their very first Valentine’s Day together, while also revealing how the rest of the ragtag crew spends the gushiest, mushiest, most romantic day of the year.”
Harley Quinn features the voices of actors like Kaley Cuoco, Alan Tudyk, Lake Bell, and Ron Funches among the primary cast, all of whom we’ll most likely see in the special, as well as actors like Diedrich Bader, Jason Alexander, Jim Rash, Janet Varney, Rachel Dratch, JB Smoove, Chris Diamantopoulos, and Matt Oberg among others.
HBO Max’s Harley Quinn series is popular enough to not only survive the streaming service’s recent bloodbath, but manage to score a fourth season. If you watched the recent episode where the reformed family man Joker runs for Gotham’s mayor, you likely know why. But as good as Harley Quinn has been, I was shocked to…
Harley Quinn as she appears in the new Batman sandbox RPG Gotham Knights has drawn some challenging responses from DC fans, who compare the design of the Joker’s sometimes sidekick to the beloved Arkham series, and to the movies starring Margot Robbie, to argue that the new version from WB Montreal is “boring”, “awful”, and “Jokerised”.
